Splie's POV:

I'm sailing across the sea, taking on a difficult merchant's run Shasta filled out for me. Diana's merchant skills were falling behind! She's taken on merchant runs by herself and got almost everything, but it needs some improvement. "Sorry for the problems I've caused, Splie." Diana quietly apologized, "It's okay, Diana. This is why I'm going with you, I'm here to help you." I assured her with a smile.

Diana's like a daughter to me and she loves to have fun like a pup sometimes. We shortly arrive at another city that has a large market and isn't very busy. Diana and I deboarded the ship and start our merchant's run. "What do we have first on our list?" Splie asked, "We need some cattle and some... oak wood?" Diana trailed off, "Why do we need oak wood?" she asked.

"Oak wood's a building material we need due to how strong it is." I replied, leading her to the lumber mill. A lumberjack is cutting up a downed oak tree when we got towards the lumber warehouse. "Hi, do you by chance have any oak in stock?" I asked. The lumberjack nodded his head and lead us to the oak wood section of the warehouse, asking us for twenty-five gold or fifty silver coins.

We bought a few oak log pillars and some saplings for an extra ten gold. Dave and Luke helped oak the ship and we continued bartering with the locals, selling some of our items we produced for items we needed. Diana and I sold our animal hides of deer and cow, including our carrots and potatoes we grew at FrostFang Summit. Diana made a few more transactions with a variety of locals, getting everything we need and stored it well on the ship.

We departed around nightfall and sailed across the sea. Sometimes sailing through the sea can be very boring with nothing to do. I decided to sit down and sketch out a transportable siege ballista to help defend the ice lands if we become under attack. "Hey Splie, what're you drawing?" Diana asked from behind me, "Just... making a blueprint of a weapon we can use to defend ourselves." I replied, drawing out geometric alignments for the crossbow mechanism.

 "Unfriendly warship, heading toward our port side!" Ben shouted, from the crow's nest. I look towards the port and a large Carrack-class ship with red sails that have a white star and crescent on it, coming straight at us. I recognize those markings, that's a Turkish warship.  There's distant yelling that can be heard from the ship. The second the ship got closer, I saw someone I once knew... Zack Edgington!

The large vessel starts shooting arrows at us and both Dave and Steve got into defensive position, protecting our ship. Zack's ship locks onto ours and Muslim knights start boarding. Zack gets on board on our ship, weapon drawn... Diana jumps up on her feet and attempts to take Zack down in a single blow. "Diana! This guy is really strong!" I shouted, "Your friend is right! I am a tough opponent, let me test your meddle!" Zack roared, swinging at Diana. Luke jumped down and ran up to my defense, blocking an enemy soldier's fatal blow, "Luke, take these to Shasta. You're the only one that can escape." I yelled, giving him the blueprints and the map to FrostFang Summit.

Luke nodded, ejects his elytra wings and flies off as fast as he could from the fight.

Luke's POV:

I'm flying through the night sky over a large and starting-to-get-cold ocean. The closer I got towards Frostfang Summit's territory, the colder it's gotten. A couple of hours of flying while running low on rockets, I managed to reach the beaches of the ice lands. After making a rough landing, I took off as quick as I could to the outskirts of the city. I run into the castle and burst into Shasta's living quarters, waking them up with a startle. "Luke, you're back already?" Shasta asked, "Yes, but I have really bad news!" I quickly responded, quickly removing my helmet.

"What is it? Spill it out!" Shasta demanded, getting out of bed, "Splie, Diana, and the others were captured midsea by Zack and his Muslim forces!" I shouted. Shasta takes off downstairs for a few minutes and comes back up with his armor on. "How far were you from here when you were under attack?" Shasta asked, going through his chests, "Two hours." I answered, "Sadie, get Nixon to work overtime on the forge." I ordered, "Yes, Alpha." Sadie acknowledged.

Shasta and I set all the soldiers on high alert in every section of the ice lands for a possible invasion.

Splie's POV:

Dave, Ben, Steve, Diana, and I are tied up on our ship being interrogated by Zack and his allies. "How about this, you make it easy on yourselves by telling me where Shasta is hiding and we'll set you all free." Zack bribed, "We'll never tell you, you Muslim jerks!" I retorted, "What do you guys worship, huh? Do you worship the moon?" I added. Diana looked at me and gave me a very upset growl, "That is considered very... offensive." Zack shouted, trying to calm himself down.

Zack pulls out his sword and aligns it to Diana's neck. "This is the last time I'm going to ask you nicely. Where! Is! Shasta! Hiding!" Zack demands. Diana whimpers as a reaction to Zack's threat, "Okay, stop!" I yelled, speaking really fast.

"Shasta's living up North, in the ice lands. And by the way, Shasta knows you're coming and has a large army." Dave laughed out, "You're bluffing!" Zack yells. Zack's crew aim their bows towards the captives. "Dave isn't lying, Shasta has an army of ten thousand." Diana lied, winking at me, "Oh really? Thank you for telling me, I'll be sure to bring enough friends to help me." Zack cackled maniacally.

Sadie's POV:

All through last night and early morning, nothing bad has happened in our territory. I start scouting East from the kingdom with a few other wolves alongside me. We got into a forest and spotted two... white wolves? I recognized one of them to be Layla! "They're enemies, seize them!" I shouted, charging at them at full speed. We took out Layla and the other wolf with ease at first, but they eventually overpowered all of us with only me remaining. Layla grabs me and holds me up to the nearest tree by my neck. "If you want to live, you'll have to do something for me." Layla said, tightening her grip on my throat.

Shasta's POV:

Nixon and I have been forging set after set of armor for the troops who still don't have any armor to wear for hours. Sadie came back and saw that she doesn't have the team I assigned her to with her. Sadie's appearance looked like she was beaten severely and stained with blood.

"Hey, babe, what happened? Where's your team?" I asked, "Dead. Don't worry about it." Sadie quietly replied. This came as a shock to me, "Don't worry about it?! Sadie, this is unlike you... what's going on?" I questioned. She starts tearing up and said: "We need to break up!"

"What, why?" I asked, "I made a deal with someone, if I don't fulfill it... they'll kill everyone, including Dave, Splie, Diana, everyone!" Sadie answered, crying harder, "Who is this 'someone'? As your Alpha, you tell me who you negotiated with." I growled, "I can't! Even you can't make me tell you, you all are too important to me. I don't want them to hurt you too." Sadie responded, running off in her wolf form.

My heart's been shattered, I fall on my knees and start to sob. "Alpha, I believe I know who killed Sadie's squad and have bargained with her." Nixon chimed in, "You do? Who? Who would have done this?" I plead, "Layla." Nixon replied, "Sadie had Layla's scent all over her." 

My emotions took over and I went into the direction Sadie was patrolling earlier with Nixon behind me. We went into the woods, where Layla's scent was at it's strongest. I walked upon a meeting between three wolves and quickly hid behind a tree. One of them is Sadie for sure and another voice belonged to Layla. "I did what you asked, Layla. Now just leave." Sadie pleads, "Nuh-uh-uh... I need to claim what's trufully mine." Layla spat, "I need Shasta, my destined true love!" 

I hear Layla sniff the air and walk close by me. "And he's walked right within my grasp..." Layla giggled, swiftly grabbing me from behind. I got up and fought Layla with everything I got. Within seconds, an unknown white wolf with purple steaks joined in the fight, taking me off guard. I managed to take them both on easily, taking down Layla's ally, knocking her out. Nixon arrived out of nowhere, helping me take on Layla. Nixon let out a howl followed with a roar and used evasive set of maneuvers against his opponent, injuring Layla severely.

Ten minutes later, a large number of wolves arrive at the scene. Their eyes all glow to their amber yellow color. Unexpectedly, the other white wolf wakes up and hits me with a blunt object, making everything go dark.

3rd Person POV:

Layla gets up, preparing for another fight and noticed that she's vastly outnumbered. "Layla, I got Shasta." Hammy shouts, fighting off Sadie and Nixon. Layla gets up and drags Shasta away from the fight. Hammy and Layla jumped aboard the Arabic ship they borrowed from Aafiq and took off with Shasta, leaving FrostFang Summit without a leader.
