Aftermath

Shasta's POV:
Our fleet returned to port and resumed their daily duties. The ship Luke and I was on board docked on one of Splie's front-side docking lanes. The moment I stepped off the ship, the excess blood started to drip off my armor plates in big thick dark red globs. Man, I have to take this armor off!
I sprinted over to a secluded area of Splie's side warehouse and tried to strip all my armor off as quickly as I could.
"Hey, Shasta~." Sadie cooed.
I yelped in surprise and tried to hide behind a snow bank on the deck.
"Hey, how did you know I was here?" I questioned,
"I was hanging out with Luna, Nixon, and Splie while you were gone. And saw you walk off your ship." She answered.
I heard panting and loud footsteps coming fast. Splie comes around the corner where Sadie and I are. Splie stops and bends down, trying to catch his breath.
"Sorry Shasta... your... girlfriend is... very... persistent." Splie pants.
"Right..." I trail off, "So... I see you got yourself a set of armor too." I noticed,
"Yep. Diana's concerned about my protection, so she insisted that I get myself some armor." Splie laughed,
"Well, it's weird saying this, but you look awesome in armor." Sadie complimented,
"I agree." I commented,
"Now, can you guys leave? I need to change." I asked,
"No problem, I'll see you inside." Splie complied, walking off.
Sadie just stares at me and doesn't break her gaze.
"Sadie!" I bellowed, "I need you to leave!"
"But I enjoy seeing you in your current state~." Sadie speaks in a flirtatious tone,
"Not now! Go!" I yelled,
"Ugh! Fine!" Sadie groans and she finally leaves.
I changed out of my armor and underclothes into my old Gline Prince outfit. I quickly walked into Splie's house, met by Sadie, Luna, Nixon, Luke, and Splie.
"Ah, Shasta. Glad to have you back, Alpha." Nixon said, giving me a big bear-like hug,
"Whoa..." I gasped, wincing in pain,
"Nixon, put him down." Luna giggled.
Nixon lets me go, I gasp for air and hold my right arm. Nixon's unbelievably strong and has become very protective of me...
"Sorry about that, It's good to have our Alpha back." Nixon explains,
"it's all good," I answer, rubbing my own shoulder, "I'm a bit sore from fighting these Illagers."
"How tough were these Illagers you went after?" Nixon asks,
"Not as powerful as we thought." Luke chimes in, with a big smirk on his face.
"Of course they aren't. You cast large fireballs at them." I pointed out.
We all just laughed after that remark before the subject changed.
"Oh, Shasta! Now that you're back and everything, I need you sit over there." Luna requests, pointing to a wooden chair,
"Okay, why?" I respond, walking over to the chair and sat down,
"And Sadie, you sit on top of him with your necklace Shasta bought for you some time back." Luna ordered,
"What? Why?" Sadie questions whilst doing what she says.
Just as Sadie sits down on me, she feels unbelievably light. Not saying that I'm upset or anything, just shocked...
"Now, Shasta, scratch the side of Sadie's right ear." Luna instructed, setting up an art stand, a large piece of paper, and a couple of ink sacs.
I start scratching Sadie's ear and she leans back on me the moment I start doing so.
"Sadie, hold still for me." Luna chuckles,
25 Minutes Later...
"Done." Luna says with a smile.
Nixon looks over his girlfriend's shoulder and his eyes widen ever so slightly.
"Extraordinary work." Nixon smiles.
Dave, Splie, and Luke look over Luna's shoulder and
"Oh, wow, Luna! That looks just like them!" Luke gasps,
"All right, let us see!" I bellowed,
[I would like to thank my good friend @Blackblaster245 for making this drawing possible.]
"That is so awesome! Why didn't you tell me you can draw?" Sadie asks,
"I have my secrets..." Luna giggles in reply,
"Aw, come on! We're best friends, you were supposed to tell me everything." Sadie jokingly complains.
I love Sadie and her beautiful personality, I also love her tough side too. My happy expression turns into a frown and I quietly slip away from my friends and into the snowy outdoors.
Splie's POV:
While all of us were mesmerized by Luna's drawing, I notice that Shasta was missing and I said: "Um, guys? Shasta's gone."
"What?" Sadie replies in confusion, looking around the room,
"Not to worry, I may know where he is. I'll bring him back." I sighed.
I walk out the door of my house and just as I expected, he was standing right outside the living area of my house.
"Yo, Shasta!" I calmly called out, "What're you doing out here?"
"I don't know... I'm a little uneasy about these Illagers and how strong they can be." Shasta responds, now facing towards me, "Sure, you and I made armor that's difficult to penetrate, but we can't just rely on this armor."
I look down for a second and look back up.
"I see." I calmly answered, "I have limited knowledge on these Illagers, what I do know about them is that they pillage villages and small towns that possess little to no defenses. They're strong in hand-on-hand combat and they have Ravengers that can crack or possibly break through cobblestone barriers."
I show Shasta a sketch of what a Ravenger looks like and show him some roughly estimated information on the Illagers and what weapons they commonly use.
"Hello, Shasta." A feminine voice spoke from above us.
Shasta and I look up and there is a hooded woman and another hooded character, both of them can't be easily identified. I do know one is a woman from their voice.
The two hooded characters jump down and the one who spoke to us slowly approaches us. I pull out my sword and charge at her. She pulls out her sword and blocks my attack, making me stumble backward.
"You lack the skill in using a sword, Splie." The other hooded individual spoke in their masculine voice,
"Who are you?" Shasta growls, drawing out his sword,
"We're a couple of people that came to warn you." The feminine character responded,
"About what? Is this some threat toward us?" I questioned, getting into a defensive position.
The two anonymous characters whispered to each other before replying.
"No." The hooded man replied, "Well, not by us at least."
"Why should we listen to you, let alone, believe what you say?" I questioned,
"Because you don't have much of a choice. Besides, Aafiq's planning to invade this place again." The hooded woman yelled, growling like a wolf.
Interesting... at least I kind of know who she is, she's a wolf. I always hear that exact noise when a wolf is frustrated or angry.
"Not possible, we took out numerous amount of their ships." I replied in pure logic, "They'll be fools to attempt to do that again."
The hooded man and woman snapped and said in unison: "Your logic is incorrect, Splie! They have Egyptian soldiers in their group, they're higher trained than their regular knights."
I look over to Shasta.
"What's going on in your mind, Shasta?" I asked, "What should we do with this information?"
Shasta looked up and let out a short calm sigh.
"I'll have your warning noted." Shasta answers, "As of right now, this is a lot to take in and is unexpected. I'm going to think this out."
"Let's hope you come to a decision soon. For you don't have a lot of time until they get here." The masculine character warns.
The two hooded characters jump off the small bridge we're on and took off in a small boat, disappearing into the foggy night.
The next day at the Mief'wa kingdom...

Layla's POV:
"Queen, Hammy. A few of our villages have been attacked by Pillagers." A mief'wa knight reported,
"Did they deter them?" Hammy asks,
"No, ma'am. They managed to kill off all the guards and took away citizens that didn't make it out on time." The soldier informed,
"Impossible. We have our villages were very well protected. How did they manage to do this?" Hammy questioned out of anger,
"They had higher numbers and have at least one or two ravengers with them." The soldier informed again,
"Send extra guards to the remaining villages within our kingdom's territory. We'll need to protect everything we still have." I chimed in,
"Excuse me, Layla. Even though you turned me into one of you, I still have my authority over this very throne." Hammy sneers at me,
"Did you forget who's really in charge here?" I questioned, grabbing Hammy throat.
Hammy struggles within my grasp and manages to slip out.
"You know what? I challenge you to a duel!" Hammy bellows, drawing out her sword,
"I accept your challenge. I hope you're fully prepared to lose again." I reply, drawing out my weapon.
Hammy makes the first move by charging towards me, weapon above her head. She bellows her battle cry and swung directly at my breastplate. The power of her swing pushed me back a few blocks. I gasped for air.
"Layla, I'm sick and tired of you bossing me around. You turned me into a filthy werewolf against my will! I told you to move on from Shasta." Hammy yells, "Since I keep to my promises, I'll help you get Shasta. But from this point forward, we're going to try my way!"
I shed a tear and I responded: "Fine."
"Queen, Hammy. Now that this problem of yours is solved, what're your orders?" The Mief'wa solder asked,
"Escort all the survivors of the pillaged villages back here and reinforce the garrisons around the villages that weren't hit." Hammy ordered.
"Yes, my Queen." The soldier kneels.
To be continued...
