A Discovery and Kidnapping

*Early Next Morning*

Dave's POV:

Splie and I woke up the next morning and start packing our camp supplies. I got up and woke Shasta up, "Shasta, it's time to get up. We need to get moving." I said, shaking Shasta a little bit. "What? Where are we going?" He asks, getting on his feet, "We're going to investigate a vacant village not too far from here." I replied, "A village? Vacant? How long was it vacant for?" Shasta asked, tilting his head, "About five years, I believe..." I answered, with a slight of doubt in my voice, "Oh okay, let me get back to my barely-set-up camping area." Shasta said, jogging off. "Why didn't you tell me that we are going to an abandoned village?" Splie asked, mid-shouting.

"Because, I need your brains to solve a mystery behind that place. If I did tell you, you may not want to come." I explained, "Fair point." Splie admitted, "Right guys, I got my stuff." Shasta said, holding a white shulker box. We started climbing up and over a few more mountains before we got to our destination, "Here we are, the abandoned village." Dave represents to Shasta and Splie.

"Whoa..." Splie and Shasta awed in sync.  "I'm taking a closer look." Shasta shouted, taking off down the mountain.

Shasta's POV:

Dave, Splie, and I managed to get down the steep mountain without any injuries. We walked into the village and there was something strange about the buildings... they have some erry feeling to them, some of the spruce wood walls and roofing has rotten away. The only building that's still in okay condition is the silo, warehouse, the a small and overgrown wheat field, and a brewery-like building. "Splie, what can you tell us about the village's condition?" Dave asked, getting some intelligence data, "From what I can see here, these houses have been damaged due to the elements. The entire place needs quite a bit of work to make it livable for anyone." Splie calculated, "Shasta, be careful when going into these buildings. The flooring may give way if too much weight is applied to the flooring." Dave cautioned, "Okay, got it." I nodded. Splie wandered around a little bit and something has caught his eye and speaks aloud, "Hmm... I want to know more about this place, where could I-"

"What about we take a look at the brewery building." I interrupted, pointing at the old brewery building.

"You know... Shasta's right, we should look there first. I'll walk in first in case someone still lives here." Dave volunteered, pulling out his Iron Bearded Battleaxe. Splie and I walk slowly behind Dave into the brewery. There was a lot of broken bottles scattered all over the floor, some potion residue remains were all over the floor. A couple of zombies with  Arabic armor on them, heard us and slowly limped toward us from the second floor. Dave swiftly swings his heavy weapon towards the zombie, splitting the first zombie's skull open and the other zombie's head clear off its shoulders. The three of us removed the zombie remains outside, including the shards of glass and burned them. We headed back inside the brewery to find what else the building has inside, "Look, some bookshelves, maybe a journal's in here somewhere." Splie swiftly walked over to the bookshelves.

An hour of searching the brewery Splie found something in the bookshelves, "Aha! I found a journal log that has Christian marking on the cover." Splie shouted, dusting off the book, "Awesome. What does it say?" I asked, " It says that a Templar Master named 'Landry' directed the construction of this village. A couple of years after the construction was complete, Turkish soldiers ran the Templars out." Splie read aloud, "What did the other one say?" Dave exclaimed, "I'm getting to that." Splie replied. I sat up anxious to know what has happened to this place, "The other one says, After we captured this village, our soldiers held here for a couple of months till three of their soldiers disappeared and found their bodies, weeks later on the edge of the river shoreline." Splie read on.

"You're saying that this place is haunted?" I asked, "You can call it that, but I don't think it's haunted." Splie chuckled.

Dave's POV:

After Splie finished reading those two journals, I'm super curious about what is in the Warehouse, "I wonder what's in the Warehouse." I mentioned blandly, walking out of the building, "Hold on. Wait for us, Dave." Shasta shouted, trying to keep up with me. I walked into the Warehouse, this building was perfectly clean unlike the brewery. It was unusually clean for an abandoned building.

I looked through all the chests on the first and second floor, barely anything in them. I ran ahead to the 3rd floor and found more chests. Once I opened all of them, I found a lot of building materials and minerals in the chests. Wood, iron, gold and silver coins, a few sets of perfect condition Templar Armor, a lot of shortswords, shields with Templar markings, and a large heavy-duty crossbows. I feel like I'm in my own world, I never have seen a heavy-duty crossbow in person. Can't wait to try them out at a practice range.

"Guys, take a look at this. *shows Splie and Shasta the weapons and armor*" I shouted from above. Shasta and Splie ran to the top of the stairs, "Whoa, that's insane. Let me have a set of that." Shasta said, grabbing a set of armor from me, "Dave, we should actually live there." Splie pointed out, "Not bad of an idea..." I replied, "I think we'll have to fix the place, before living here." I said, mentioning the obvious. There was an awkward thirty seconds that went by, whilst looking through all the warehouse's chests, "It's getting late, I guess we'll have to rest here in the warehouse?" Shasta asked, pointing out the window.

3rd Person POV:

"I guess we'll have to, let's lay down and catch up." Dave replies to Shasta.

*scene change somewhere in the middle of the spruce forest*

A pack of wolves morphs into humans with wolf ears and tails(werewolves) and bows down to a white-haired woman with white ears and tail. The woman points to the mostly vacant village and the pack of wolves slowly invade the abandoned village, searching the buildings one by one, looking for something or... possibly, someone... The wolf people eventually went inside the warehouse building, working their way up to the third floor making creaking noises once every other step the werewolves took. "What was that?" Dave said, drawing his battleax.

"Splie, Shasta, get up." Dave whispers, shaking both of them up, "What? What's going on?" Shasta stubbornly replies. The wolf people get to the top of the stairs, circling the three friends. Dave attempts to lunge at the nearest Wolf, but he managed to disarm him, "Let us take Shasta... It'll be easier on the both of us." The Wolves demanded, grabbing Shasta and dragged him out of the warehouse, "W-what are you doing? Let me go!" Shasta shouted, resisting the wolves, "Quiet! You're going to meet our God. She calls for you." The Wolf replies, punching Shasta in the stomach.

Shasta's POV:

The Werewolves dragged me for about half a mile in the spruce forest before dropping me onto my knees in front of a white-haired woman, "Ah, the Chosen One has come at last.." I hear the woman speak. I looked up and saw the  Wolf woman's face looking down at me, she was wearing a blue-ish two-piece dress with her hair going all the way down to her stomach.

"Who are you? What do you want from me?" I demanded, trying to stand up on my feet.
