Plot: Aphmau invites Travis and Zane to the mall. Zane is extremely depressed and Aphmau doesnt notice, but Travis does.

Zane

Aphmau and Travis hopped along infront of me, looking at sales while i was playing the role of a third wheel.

For the third time this week. It was spring break and everyone was off of work for about a week, so aphmau took that oppurtunity to drag me and Travis around, but he enjoyed it.

"Zane!" Aphmau called, pointing to a Manga shop. I sighed.

"Aphmau you have so much manga though." "I doubt-"

"NOT TRUE I DONT HAVE DEATH NOTE OR TOKYO GHOUL YET! Unfortunatley Travis and I's favorite anime doesnt have a manga avaliable here.." she rambled on.

"Could you pretty please buy me it??" She asked, giving puppy eyes.

"No,I-"

"Ill pay for it Aphmau," Travis said, swooping in almost heroicly. I growled.

"Hey Zane, you okay dude?"

"Im fine."

By the time we turned around, Aphmau had took the money Travis gave her and was already on the line at the counter paying for the manga.

Travis

Zane was naturally an agressive person, i knew that much, but he was really fidgety lately, and he got more frustrated than normal.

"Are you sure your okay?"

"Why do you even care?"

"The sass i get from people." I said, dramatically pretending to be hurt.

"I honestly care about your well being."

Zane scoffed, and looked down.

"Well i-" As Zane started his sentence, Aphmau walked out of the manga store holding a bag of the two books she bought.

"Ready to go?" She asked, gesturing to the food court.

We started walking and Aphmau swooned over all of the other ponie posters that she probably had but didnt keep track of.

When we got to the mall food court we set our bags down at a table and ordered some food. We seperated and went to different places, i went to McRonalds where i got a burger and fries. I walked back with my food and sat next to Zane and Aphmau, when i took a good look at Zane's face i noticed heavy bags under his eyes, and his eyes were red and blotchy.

There was obviously something he was hiding.

"So, what did you guys buy today?" Aphmau casually asked.

"I got a bunch of superhero comics!" I exclaimed, pulling one out of my bag. Aphmau scanned it, than put it down.

"I bought a cute plush of Kirby." Zane stated, how cute.

Yeah i said it, ive been kind of attracted to Zane for a while.

Aphmau gulped down the last of her soda, she had consumed her hot dog extremely quickly.

"Ive got to use the bathroom." Aphmau spoke, getting up.

As soon as she was gone i looked back at Zane.

"Okay, jokes aside, can you tell me whats wrong Zane?"

"Fine, sometimes i feel left out of everything Aphmau does. For irene sake i didnt even know she liked Aaron until around i met her." "And its not just that."

"Why am i even telling you this?"

"I dont know, youve never willingly opened up to me before."

"I didnt think anyone would be interested in my problems.." he spoke, looking down. Sometimes he just looked so vurnerable and i drove me crazy.

Aphmau then popped out of the bathroom, on the phone, she hanged up as she approached the table.

"Is it okay if i ditch you guys, Aaron wanted to meet up today and i totally forgot about it."

"If you wanna be with your boo, go with your boo, kay girlfriend?"

"What he said, but less..Travis." Zane spoke, smiling softly at her.

She got up and grabbed her things, heading towards the exit. Waving to us.

"Zane, im sorry you feel that way, its just how it is okay? You cant always force others into telling you about their personal lives."

"For a suave, your pretty darn intelligent."

"Are you okay now?"

He nodded and smiled lightly, his eyes slightly crinkling.

"Now, do you want to have a sleepover?"

"..Travis are you five?"

"No, it will be fun. I can invite Aph if ya want."

"Okay.."

"But can it just be you and me please?" He asked, i smiled at him.

"Sure thing." I said, getting up and grabbing my bag. Zane reached for his but i took it from him.

"Hey!"

"Ill carry it for you." I said.

"Fine..fine." he said. I wrapped my free arm around his shoulder, smiling when i saw a small blush appear on face.
