Zane X Reader (Part 2)

*Requested*

-----

After your Attack on Titan Levi filled marathon with Zane, you guys had been hanging around even more with you, slowly teaching Zane the thrill of anime while getting more comfortable around him. You didn't think he was a kid stuck in an eternal emo corner anymore but a tsundere.

Right now, you guys were watching Black Butler, an anime you hadn't watched yet despite all the hype for it. From what you heard, their were blondies in booty shorts, cats, and sexy demon butlers. Just right up your alley.

Don't worry, you're still as sane as ever.

Currently, you were typing away on a computer as Zane watched the TV screen, glancing every so often to see how you were doing. He saw the rose colored dusted over your cheeks and the squeals that escaped your mouth as you wrote the kissing scene in your fanfic.

It was your OTP and you couldn't help but fangirl about it. Recently, everyone had been using the toxic seven letter word of update littered in your comments, pissing you off slightly, but you still continued to write and somewhat keep on your schedule.

Zane wasn't pleased with your fanfiction writing, he was one of those people to get attached to the little people they surrounded themselves around. After Aphmau and Aaron got together, he didn't see her as often anymore and you were kind of his escape. But to have another occupying your time, made Zane's blood boil a little.

"(Y/N)," Zane called, hoping to break you out of your zone, "Are you even paying attention to this?"

You looked up from your computer for a second and sighed. You then looked down again, finishing the last sentences that you needed to end the chapter. Without even checking it or editing it, you published so Zane could finally get your attention. You closed the computer, knowing it published and smiled at his annoyed face.

"I am now," you said, shifting your body so you guys were closer together on the couch. You smiled at the TV looking at a VERY attractive butler. "W-who is he?"

Zane looked at you, drooling over this new anime character. "Well if you were paying attention, that's Sebastian, Ciel Phantomhive's butler."

Sebastian...I NEED TO MARRY HIM, you thought, very sanely.

"And who's Ciel Pha--Oh," you stopped, looking at the boy in front of you.

No older than 13, he looked like a kid Zane. They both had vibrant blue eyes with one hindered by hair. Although, Ciel's hidden eye was covered more with his eye patch. They both looked like pale people sulking into their eternal emo corners. Both of them also had the pissed off look that made them feel unapproachable.

Zane looked dully at the screen, not noticing you about to laugh. When he finally did, he cocked his head, furrowing his eyebrows together.

"What the--"

"ZANE. ARE YOU SECRETLY CIEL PHANTOMHIVE?!" You screamed at him.

He looked at you strangely, then sighed, remembering this was how sane you were. "No. I am not."

You came closer to his face, almost poking him with your nose. "Are you sure?"

Your pupils dilated at his eyes and his face, examining everything, the root of his hair to his lips. Everything seemed to line up, especially the lips--face.

You were TOTALLY not staring at his lips. You TOTALLY didn't have a huge crush on him.

Okay, you TOTALLY had a big crush on him but it's not liked it showed! Right?

When red started to dot his cheeks, he pushed you off gently, handing you your closed computer out of embarrassment. He turned away from you, muttering curses under his breath.

"Z-Zane?" You inquired, obviously confused. You knew you were acting like such a stereotypical girl in a fanfic, acting like you totally didn't see him blush and you totally didn't check out his lips in hopes to have the confidence to kiss them. "A-are you o-okay?"

"Yeah," he sputtered, "Just write your fanfic. I really am just focused on the anime right now."

You nodded your head, pretending that you did not want to know anything about his weird behavior. Your hands found the crevice to bring up your computer screen to create a new draft in your Gaurance book that you were writing. They had just kissed so obviously they needed to be in a relationship right away with no development at all.

Yet, you couldn't keep your eyes on the screen. You constantly looked at Zane, who was blushing like a maniac, watching Kuroshitsuji. You knew you should be focused on the fanfiction writing but you couldn't help it but want to help him.

But help him how? Surely your sane self could figure that out.

"Hey, Zane," you whispered, "Don't Marco me right now."

He looked at you, his eyebrow raised. "Marco? What does he have to do with anything?"

"You're giving me HALF your attention," you chuckled, "I really wish that you would give me HALF  a chance. HALF of your faith in me is put in HALF decent animes in your opinion anyway..."

He rubbed his temples, slowly killing you over and over again in his mind for all the half jokes. It was too much of an overload coming from your sane self. You watched as Zane came closer to you, putting his finger under your chin like Sebastian on the screen.

He came closer to you, pursing his lips slightly. You were slowly freaking out in your mind, hearing a voice argue with your thoughts that talked about a special type of...hair conditioner...? Whatever that was. Maybe you needed to buy some, but BESIDES THE POINT.

Still, you couldn't get over how he was about to kiss you. You closed your eyes, tilting your head like all the fanfictions instructed. That didn't mention that really came naturally, as if by instinct, even if it was about to be a catastrophe.

RING!

Zane picked his head up, looking at the door then looking at you. He let go of your chin, getting up to answer the door.

You turned your head around, looking at the person who was standing at the door and ruined your first kiss.

It was Aphmau.

Eh, all is forgiven then, you thought, still touching your lips, feeling a ghost brush over them.

"Hey Aphmau," Zane greeted in a grave voice.

"Hey Zane!" She greeted back in her cheery voice. "I heard you and (Y/N) were having another marathon and I thought that maybe I could--"

"Sure," you called out to Aphmau, receiving a smile from her.

Zane made way for her as she sat herself down on the couch next to you, silently chuckling to herself. You couldn't help but look at her and question her. She turned to you, smiling.

"So how was that almost-kiss?"

A/N -  You got Part 2 because the inspiration river in my brain wasn't flowing today. I also thought it would be fun to write as a fangirl reader~chan again! If I would ever do it again, it would be a different person than Zane. I think this little storyline is done, let your imagination roam from there. Anyways, I hope you enjoyed! Buh-bye!
