Travis × Lucinda
Travis was walking and spotted his favorite coffee shop. He quickened his pace and walked through the glass doors. He walked up to his favorite waitress and grazed her lower back with his hand.
Lucinda turned around sharply and grabbed his wrist.
"Don't. Even. Think. About" she bitterly growled her face inches from his.
"I love it when you get mad at me" he purred.
Lucinda rolled her eyes and went back to clearing the table.
"What are you even doing here?" She went to the counter and started wiping it down.
"I came here to see you..." He trailed off admiring the view of a few young women exiting the cafe. Lucina snapped her fingers, Travis returned his gaze to Lucinda's eyes, only to see she was glaring at him.
"To see me?"
"Uh...yeah" he chuckled while scratching the back of his neck, "I saw you were working and thought it'd be a good time to ask you a question"
"And that would be?" Lucinda sighed and set her hands on the counter.
"Wanna go on a date tonight?"
"No"
"Oh come on! You didn't even think it over!"
"Ok..." She paused and pretended to think, "no"
"Why not?"
"Because you'll act like the perverted creep you are!"
"Perverted creep?! Me?!"
"Shh!" Lucinda shushed eyeing her disturbed customers
"I'm gonna keep yelling and driving away your customers unless you go on a date with me" he leaned in dangerously close.
"You're blackmailing me?!" Lucinda whisper screamed.
"Yes, now do we have a deal?"
Lucinda balled her fists, gripping the rag she was using as hard as possible.
"Fine" she growled through gritted teeth, she grabbed his collar and pulled him inches from her face "but you better treat me like a gentleman, and if you even dare to look at another girls body, I will hurt you in ways you've never been in pain"
Travis gulped audibly and nodded, leaving with a huge grin on his face.
"Pick you up at eight!" He called behind his shoulder as he left the cafe.
Lucinda finished her shift and went home. She slammed her door when she arrived and let out a loud groan. She marched over to her couch and stuffed a pillow into her face. She let out a scream and tried to rip the pillow into a million pieces.
Bigglesworth flew over and landed on her knee.
He tilted his head curiously. Lucinda took the pillow from her face and huffed.
"I don't wanna talk about it" Lucinda hugged the pillow close to her chest trying to avoid Bigglesworth's eyes. "Don't look at me like that!"
Bigglesworth hopped down her leg and sat on her stomach.
"Fine! I was blackmailed into going on a date with Travis"
Bigglesworth hooed excitedly. Lucinda rolled over and groaned.
"Don't be like that! You know how I feel about him!"
Bigglesworth flew away and returned with a black journal. He flipped to a certain page and tapped it.
Lucinda rose an eyebrow and looked at the page.
Travis is so cute!
Lucinda's eyes widened and she slammed the book shut. She immediately recognized it as the journal she wrote in when she was drunk.
Everyone does weird things when they're drunk, and Lucinda just happened to write in a diary when she was drunk.
Not that she got drunk often, but when she did...she regretted it.
"Bigglesworth! Where did you find this?!"
Bigglesworth went to show her but she stopped him.
"I know where you got it!"
She marched to her closet and started to look through her clothes.
She decided on a simple black dress.

Eight rolled around faster than she wanted. Lucinda put on some makeup and slipped on some black heels.
At exactly eight, he doorbell rang. She opened it to see Travis standing outside, adjusting his tie with one hand, and holding a bouquet of flowers in the other.
"Good evening" he smiled, "I got these for you"
His emerald eyes met Lucinda's gaze and she froze up, forgetting how to breathe.
His black suit fit perfectly, and his silver hair was done so well, not a single hair was out of place.
"You look beautiful tonight, Lucinda" he grinned and held out the flowers to her, "I got these for you. Black tulips, they're your favorite, right?"
"Uh...y-yeah, thanks..." Lucinda took the flowers and placed them on the counter as she reached for a vase. "Make yourself comfortable while I find a vase" she suggested. Travis nodded and leaned on the counter of her kitchen.
She found a crystal vase and filled it with water, placing the black tulips in it.
"Ready to go?" Travis asked as Lucinda grabbed her small purse. She nodded and they went out to his car. Travis held open her door for her and closed it as she sat down.
He felt all giddy inside, like a child on Christmas Eve. He got in the driver's seat and pulled out of Lucinda's driveway.
"So where are we going?" Lucinda asked fiddling with the hem of her dress.
"That's a surprise" Travis glanced over at the bundle of nerves bedside him and smirked, "I'm really happy you came with me tonight"
"Yeah well, you kind of blackmailed me"
"I was desperate, what can I say?" He reached over and took her hand into his, intertwining their fingers.
"Travis-"
"You know, there's a reason I'm a player"
"W-what?"
"In highschool I was the shy kid in the back corner. No girls ever liked me. Once I ditched the braces, and aimed some confidence, I started to hit on girls. But I may be a player, and a sucker for a pretty face. But Lucinda, once I decide on one girl, I stay committed to her"
"And who's to say I'm that girl?"
Where did that come from?!
Lucinda's thoughts asked.
"You're different. I mean...its never taken so long to get a date" Travis chuckled and brought Lucinda's knuckles gently to his lips. "I'm kidding, you're special, I don't know how to describe it"
The two arrived at their destination.
Travis helped Lucinda out of the car, and walked her over to the edge of the cliff.
Lucinda gasped as she took in the view. The city glittered in the dark of the night. It's beauty seemed like no other.
"You like it? It's my favorite place to come to, the view is spectacular"
Lucinda looked at him and grinned.
"It's beautiful"
"And...this way it's harder to look at other girls"
Lucinda giggled and jokingly slapped his shoulder.
"That's the second time you ever smiled at me"
"Second?"
"Yeah, the first time was when we first met"
Lucinda blushed and smiled wider. Travis took her hands into his and guided her to a red checkered blanket. Sitting on the blanket was a small table and a basket.
Travis pulled out some candles and lit them, pulling out some dishes.
"And I had Kawaii-Chan tell me your favorite dishes."
"Travis...I'm touched. You went through all that for me?"
"Of course, I risked Kawaii-Chan's shipping of us to know your favorite dishes"
"So, if you wanna have more chances with me, we should probably have a conversation on this onByeee
"Okay, well what do you wanna know?"
"The sensitive side of you"
"Hey now, I don't show that side of me" Travis chuckled.
"Please" Lucinda pouted. Travis rolled his eyes playfully and shifted closer to Lucinda.
"I'll show you my sensitive side if you tell me what I can do to make you smile"
"You drive a hard bargain" Lucinda smiled and dusted off Travis' shoulder, "small and simple gestures"
"It's that easy?"
"It's that easy"
"I cry in every Disney movie I watch"
"Well than, if there's a second date I already know what we're gonna be doing"
"Oh you're evil"
"You bet I am"
The two talked for hours on end. Somewhere in their talking, Travis had given Lucinda an extra blanket he packed.
"Come on, let's look at the view" Travis whispered and pulled Lucinda to the edge. He took the blanket and wrapped it around Lucinda, leaving his arm over her shoulders. Lucinda held onto Travis' hand and leaned her head on his shoulder.
"I'll admit, this is a nice date" Lucinda turned her head to look at Travis. Travis looked at her, their faces inches apart.
The two leaned in, their noses brushing against each other's. Travis took his hand that wasn't over Lucinda's shoulders and cupped her jaw. Their lips finally touched and moved in sync.
Travis took his arm off Lucinda's shoulders and moved to her lower back. Lucinda placed her hands gently on Travis' chest and the two slowly laid onto the grass.
As they lowered, Travis' hand slipped and the two tumbled to the ground. They stopped with Lucinda pinning Travis to the ground. A light laugh erupting from her lips while Travis chuckled.
"You look cute with gras in your hair" Travis sighed and picked a blade out from her ginger locks.
I can't believe I enjoyed myself
Lucinda thought to herself, while smiling down at Travis.
With many dates to come.
----------------------------------------
So I dunno if I was even supposed to write but...there hasn't really been one shots on Sundays so I'm guessing it'd be okay?
Meh! Whatever, here's a one shot.
Travis and Lucinda, and I think it's pretty good. I don't ship Travis and Lucinda as much as I do Travis and Katelyn.
Anyways, I hope you guys enjoyed it! I love you all my devils, unless you're not a devil then....this is...aaaawwwkkkkwwwwaaaarrrrrddddd.
So yeah! In case you didn't realise by my writing style and awkwardness and calling you a devil, this was written by Hope/ForeverEternity1717
