Katelynn fidgeted in her dress. Her back was too exposed, shoulders bare, waist too tight. Her blue curls were stiff with spray and what especially annoyed her was the big crown on her head. It wasn't a tiara or a king's crown. It was a fat silver crown falling to her forehead.  Katelynn sharply breathed in, her finger nails digging into her palms. She was meeting Princess Aphmau of Phoenix Drop tonight. Her best-friend since they were twelve.

She hasn't seen Aphmau after they had made her focus on studies. Katelynn's  best-friend (really her romantic interest) never spoke to her after that. She missed those dimples and smiles and flower crowns. Aphmau was beautiful but Katelynn couldn't tell her out loud. She made her way into the palace hallways and saw a beautiful girl with long straight brown hair, swishing her purple dress side to side.

"Aphmau?" Katelynn called, her hand outstretched as if a glass barrier blocked them. Aphmau looked up, a smile curling on her lips. Those dimples...I miss them. Katelynn grinned and ran to hug her old friend. Aphmau collapsed into her arms, letting her brown hair disappear under Katelynn's curls. The two pulled away, admiring each other's new appearance.

"You grew out of your jeans and shirts Kate." Aphmau teased, poking Katelynn's shoulder. "You graduated from dresses to almost no clothes at all."  Katelynn's eyes drifted to Aphmau's plunging bodice. Her companion blushed and looked down at the ground. "My sister said I should flaunt those boobs." They laughed now walking to Aphmau's room. The ladies gossiped about castle living and laughed about stories.

Aphmau closed the door to her room, smiling at Katelynn. "So how's all that marriage? Dad said you'd be marrying Prince Aaron of Thebes." She sat on the purple princess's bed and let her dark blue dress spread out on the covers. Aphmau crossed her arms, puffing her cheeks. "I don't like them. I like somebody else." Katelynn's heart dropped. She wouldn't like a girl like me." The saddened Katelynn looked up, Aphmau was closer. "He'll be a lucky King."

Aphmau sighed, "I don't like just boys Kate. I can like anyone I want." The purple princess bit her lip, making Katelynn shake in nervousness. "What are you saying?" Her voice cracked, making Aphmau soften up. Her companion sat beside her, taking her cold hand in her warm ones. "I've always liked you Kate. I wanted to talk to you and spend everyday but my parents found out and locked me away. They wants kids and a man, not a girl and nothing." Katelynn sat there, her eyes searching around the room. Aphmau liked her too but her parents would never accept.

"What are you saying Aph?" Katelynn was completely shaking. Her finger nails dug deeper into her palms. "I like you. I'm sorry but I do." Her small petite lips met hers. Katelynn was used to boy's lips but Aphmau's was different. Flames erupted at her touch, making the kiss linger. "Your parents will kill you." Katelynn breathed, making Aphmau's grin widen.

"We'll die together."

Ok so this is my worst yet ;-; I feel so tired and I'm trying hard to give you guys a good oneshot. I will not tolerate anything about Girl X Girl being weird. I tried writing it since its different honestly. Anyways if you listened to our livestream you may of heard that there are alliances copying us. Well...we need to know if there's more :P
