Garroth x Laurance

sorry if this one-shot is bad, i'm honestly not feeling too great.

•••

We don't talk anymore.

I'm sitting on a bench in the park.

It's in front of a large white chapel, with wedding bells ringing from within.

We don't talk anymore.

Honestly, with the huge fight and everything that happened;

I get why he would go back to the girl he had loved so deeply before.

But that doesn't make it hurt any less.

We don't talk anymore,

Like we used to do.

I felt tears coming to my eyes just thinking about him, his face in my mind with his beautiful blue eyes and blonde hair.

I felt like screaming, but I didn't.

We don't love anymore.

I loved him.

Hell, I still do.

My heart's been cracked,

and it can't be healed.

What was all of it for?

And now I'm crying.

"Garroth I told you-"

"You don't love me anymore, do you Laurance?"

"I never said-"

"You certainly show it!"

"I love you okay? I've just been really stressed lately and-"

"Are you sure?"

And then he left.

And now he's getting married.

To the girl we both loved so long ago.

We don't talk anymore,

Like we used to do.

"Laurance!"

Ha, I miss him so much I hear his voice in my head.

"Laurance!"

I jerk my head up and true enough, Garroth is running straight towards me.

"G-Garroth?" I stand up, and he runs straight into me, crashing his lips on mine.

"Mmph!" I push him off, shocked. My heart is pounding.

"I..." He's tearing up, and I look towards the chapel.

"But-" I get cut off by Garroth leaning into me, and I instinctively wrap my arms around him.

"What happened to the wedding?" I asked, and he shook his head.

"I couldn't. I couldn't-" He's crying now, and I pat his back.

"Shh... It's okay love," I whisper, and he just cries and cries and cries.

"It was the ring bearing part, and when they asked me to say it, I couldn't. My mind- it just- it filled with memories of you," he mumbled into my chest, and I was shocked.

I smiled gently, unwrapping my arms from around him and grabbing his shoulders.

One hand tilts his head up by his chin.

"I love you too, you stuttering idiot," I smiled, connecting our lips.

I guess it was always meant to be.

(And damn, does Garroth look hot in a tuxedo.)

I know it's really bad and you guys probably don't like it, but I had to put up something today.

Sorry.
