Dante's POV
I never knew our goodbye actually meant goodbye.
I knew their stomach had been hurting since Garroth's dad brought her the pastry.
I knew they were throwing up since then.
Who knew Garte poisoned them?
Who's "they" or "them", you ask?
(y/n). That's who.
They... they were my everything. And yet, they didn't know that. Their (h/c) hair was soft and light in my hands. Their (e/c) always shined, even when things were down.
I remembered when they had taken my hand to show me how to play Undertale. Their grip was gentle, whilst their hand was soft as a flower petal.
They always made me happy when I see them.
Until now.
It hurted me so much seeing them like this.
They were in a (s/d), their (h/c) hair styled to the hairstyle they had at prom. Their (e/c) orbs were no where to be seen; hidden with their eyelids. Their face was relaxed, and was no longer as tense it was last night.
They looked stunning, and at peace.
I was sad that they were gone... but I'm happy because they're in a better place.
I feel angry towards Garte... for poisoning them. Nothing more, nothing less.
It's just... it's so hard to lose the person you cared for and love so dearly.
I felt that... maybe we could've spent more time time together.
I could've confessed sooner, if I'd know this would happen.
If I knew this would happened, I would've stop them from eating the various sweets from Garte.
But, no one expected this.
No one expected such things from the most respected man on Earth.
Karma will bite him painfully one day.
And I cannot wait for that day to happen.
He deserves it for hurting my precious (y/n).
"-does anyone else have something to say?"
I shook my head, and dried my eyes with the sleeve of my black suit.
I took one last look at (y/n). They were like someone who fell from the heavens.
Before they lowered them down, I left. I couldn't see the container that held them close shut.
I ran as far away as my legs could take me.
I collapsed at a clearing in a forest.
The winds had comforted me, the fresh breeze calming me.
They were in nature, telling me to be strong.
They were in nature, telling me that they loved me.
I smiled. "I love you too... my precious (y/n)."
