Persephone
The smoke cleared as I opened my eyes. I gasped, and widened my eyes.
"Ray!" I called out.
I saw Ray's body collapse on the ground, with burns and ashes on his body and his clothes dotted with holes.
"Ray!" I cried as I kneeled down, in level with his body.
"...Persephone..."
Water rolled down my cheeks, and I knew it wasn't sweat.
"Ray..." I said.
"...I love you... but don't even... think of joining... me..." he muttered.
I repeated as more tears rolled out, "Ray..."
"Remember... you are Minecraftia's last hope..."
"Ray... please...!" I begged.
He shakily gripped my hand. It felt cold, despite his burns.
"You are... my last hope..."
He smiled at me, despite having fatal burns. I looked at him, and I witnessed light leave his eyes. Then, he remained still.
"Ray!" I exclaimed. I tried shaking him up, but it came useless.
"Please... Ray!"
I couldn't help it. I released tears. The one whom I loved, the one whom I cared for. And now he gave his life... for me.
I stayed in my position. I wrapped Ray emotionally, hoping he'd come back. I watched my tears stain his burnt clothes.
"Ray..." I muttered emotionally.
I sobbed, and looked around. Something dropped on the floor.
Ray's raygun. And memories of him flashed back to me.
I picked the raygun up, and looked at it. Tears dropped and landed on the raygun like rain.
"Thank you... Ray... for everything..." I muttered to his raygun emotionally.
I kept the raygun at my inventory.
I stood up, my eyes still teary. Fire engulfed the entire room, but I stared ahead, at the staircase that lead upstairs. Blaise's body also laid in front of the staircase.
I walked to the staircase. I fired at Blaise's dead body three times. That's what he gets for taking Ray away from me.
I kicked Blaise's body towards the flames and I let him taste fire as I walked upstairs.
The building then shook violently. An explosion boomed somewhere. I covered my ears and ran up.
"Hello, Arctic Fox," a creepy voice echoed. "Hello, Phoenix."
I turned to the front, and saw Athaliah two blocks beside me, and another man in his 40's in a formal suit stood behind a dark oak desk. The room itself already looked trashed, and broken windows dotted the walls.
I instantly knew the man in the formal suit.
"Surprised to see your nation's President right here, did you?" the President said. "You cared to visit me, eh?"
"We're not even excited at all," Athaliah replied sternly. I tightened my grip on the raygun.
Athaliah summoned a fire wave against the President, but it got deflected in mid flight, like some sort of barrier existed in that place.
"Mhm. Nice try," the President commented sarcastically as he laughed maniacally.
Suddenly, a missile came past the window and blasted part of the room away. I jumped at the noise, and saw tanks, artilleries, jets, and helicopters pointed at the building.
"You fell for a trap, birches," he said. "But there's one thing I wanna reveal first."
I stared at him angrily as he peeled off part of his skin... literally.
Ugh! Disgusting!
He finished peeling off his skin, and revealed who he truly was.
Instead of a man in his middle ages, a man with tan skin, light blue shirt, blue pants, and brown hair stood in his place. But the thing that gave him an iconic look were his glowing white eyes.
"Herobrine..." Athaliah gasped.
"As one man said; history repeats itself. The legends you heard of were true, and it will be my... honor... to repeat it for you all," Herobrine said as he grinned evilly.
His arm then quickly morphed into a gun, then shot a bullet. Specifically, right against me.
The bullet sped its way, and I couldn't help but watch it take my life away from me.
I closed my eyes again, and realized that if I get hit, at least I'll be able to see Ray again.
But instead of a piercing feeling, I heard a scream.
I opened my eyes and saw Athaliah, with a pained look on her face.
"Athaliah!" I cried, but she collapsed. I looked at her body and saw a bullet hole stained with red.
A totem on her hand remained on her. But I looked at the Pres– Herobrine angrily.
I cursed out loud at him as I charged with ice. He easily spawned a shield and blocked the ice. He blasted off the room.
Right on cue, I heard rockets launching and explosions at I blasted off the roof as well, in pursuit of Herobrine.
The blue skies with the sun's light shined at me, and I used my hands and feet to propel myself into the air. Ice came out of them that caused me to propel myself further into the air.
I gritted my teeth as I faced Herobrine. Herobrine morphed his right arm into a minigun. I sped to dodge the blizzard of bullets that came.
Then a rain of diamond shards showered upon Herobrine. I looked up to see Milarite above, standing on her crystal platform made of quartz.
Nev flew past Milarite, raining purple shards into Herobrine. Herobrine summoned some sort of barrier to block their projectiles.
Then ruined skyscrapers started to float by its own. Along with rubble and fragments of roads, Newton rose along with the zero gravity, his arms posed as if he controlled the gravity.
Then I heard Herobrine scream in pain, and he held his head hardly, as if he's trying to resist something.
A purple aura surrounded Herobrine, and then he summoned an explosion that knocked me back. That knocked all of us back.
I noticed that Jay and Lion weren't in action. I wondered where they were. And in this case, I wondered what they are up to.
I summoned an ice wave against Herobrine, but not even a reaction from him came. Nev shot purple shards, but they all stopped near Herobrine, as if they hit a barrier.
Herobrine then grew larger. And larger. And dangerously larger than I could imagine.
Milarite spawned crystal spikes and shot against giant Herobrine, but they all stopped near him.
Then mini-versions of him with the size of a regular Minecraftian appeared from his back. His minions summoned fireballs of a Ghast and lightning.
One fireball came towards me, but I blocked it with an ice shield.
The giant Herobrine then breathed fire towards us. I instantly moved away and summoned an ice wave against Herobrine, but the effort deemed useless.
Then I saw Projects with glowing blue eyes lurk behind Herobrine. They all seemed pretty enormous. There were dragons, a hydra, a titan, and hybrids of the Wither. And they all seem to come towards us.
The mini-Herobrine then charged at me using a sword it just spawned. I barely blocked it using my ice katana. I slashed at it, but it dodged.
The giant Herobrine then used a sonic wave everywhere. We got disoriented for a while. I barely blocked the mini-Herobrine's attack.
I saw tall buildings float even higher, and it seemed to aim at something.
Then tall buildings charged at the giant Herobrine, but they all got destroyed, causing a rain of concrete and glass.
I myself don't even know what to even do anymore.

Back on the Office of the President, which still stood, Athaliah's body laid still.
Then Lion came up stairs, and saw Athaliah laying still.
"Athaliah!" he shook her up.
He then looked at her hands, and saw what she held.
A totem.
As soon as he saw that, a sudden burst of strong, white light overran the room. Little did Lion know that he just witnessed a miracle. A miracle that not even once in his life knew.
* * * * *
Caden dueled with a mini-Herobrine. The mini-Herobrine summoned more fireballs and lightning as it moved around. Caden could not concentrate, and he had to dodge all of its attacks.
But he tried to anyway, and concentrated.
Soon, the mini-Herobrine got itself disoriented, and held its head tightly as it screamed. Soon, it collapsed, and fell to the ground.
Caden looked at the giant Herobrine, but he gasped at what he saw.
Dragons, titans, a hydra, and a hybrid of a Wither stood behind the giant Herobrine.
Not only that, but he witnessed something. Something that he knew he'd dread.
"Newton!" he screamed.
* * * * *
Persephone battled with the mini-Herobrine. She gritted her teeth, and wished that all of this over.
"GRAAAH!" she yelled as she held her ice katana up tightly.
She knew that Herobrine caused everything.
He killed Storm.
He killed Ray.
He killed Athaliah.
He killed millions of innocents that did not deserve to be in the war.
She wished the mini-Herobrine dead as she decapitated it, and the mini-Herobrine faded to dust.
However, she barely dodged a hand. A giant one. She looked up and saw a titan with almost the size of the giant Herobrine.
"I am Project Prometheus! And I am here to kill you all!" it screamed.
"Who cares about your name!" Persephone retorted as she rocketed towards the face of the titan.
* * * * *
Nev and Milarite helped each other. Nev stayed on Milarite's crystal platform. Nev kept shooting purple shards against a mini-Herobrine.
Milarite also shot crystal shards against another mini-Herobrine.
Suddenly, all the buildings stopped floating, and started falling down.
"Watch out!" Nev screamed. Milarite, however, moved the platform closer to the falling building.
"Milarite!"
Milarite hovered the platform, with the mini-Herobrines following it. Milarite went a block away from the falling building. It fell past, but unluckily for the mini-Herobrines, they fell to the path of the falling building, and crushing them to death.
"Nice," Nev commented.
Milarite then turned to an ice dragon and a water dragon.
Nev cursed under her breath.
* * * * *
Caden yelled a cry as he killed another mini-Herobrine.
He moved towards Newton, whose body fell onto the ground.
"Newton!"
Caden caught Newton. His stomach bled as he tried to open his eyes. Newton smiled.
"Newton..."
"Thank you... Caden..." Newton muttered as he coughed blood.
"Newton... you're gonna survive," Caden replied.
"Too late, buddy..."
"No," Caden said.
"Kill... Herobrine... for me..." Newton asked, as his eyesight gradually faded away.
Caden went silent. He knew that his best friend just died. He examined the wound in his stomach, and concluded that the mini-Herobrine stabbed him.
With teary eyes, he swore to himself that he'd stay strong.
"Gladly," he promised.
He concentrated his mind power to propel himself further into the air, his eyes wet and had one mission in his mind.
He'd kill Herobrine.
For Minecraftia, for vengeance, and for Newton.
He stopped when he saw a half Minecraftian, half-Wither with glowing blue eyes staring angrily at him. Behind the hybrid roared a seven-headed, green hydra, also with glowing blue eyes.
"Get. Out. Of. MY. WAY!" he hissed as he concentrated on killing the beasts.
* * * * *
The giant Herobrine kept summoning magic to stop the team, but nothing happened. Knowing that his forces will gradually decrease, he thought of an idea.
He went to absorb kinetic energy inside his barrier, confident that his plan will work 100%.
* * * * *
Persephone dueled with Project Prometheus. She propelled herself high into the air, equal to that of the titan's head's Y coordinate.
The titan tried to swat Persephone. His efforts; however, deemed useless as Persephone dodged his hand.
Grunting, Persephone charged against the titan, her hands tightly gripping on her katana.
She breathed cold mist towards the titan's eyes, blinding him. Disoriented, the titan swatted everywhere, even air.
Persephone outstretched her hands, then dark, cumulonimbus clouds enveloped the skies and covered the sun. The temperature quickly dropped to negative degrees. Snow swiftly capped the ground, and hail overran the environment.
"Ugh!" Project Prometheus said as he used his arms to shield his eyes from the blizzard.
While the titan had struggles, Persephone took her chance to charge straight up to its face.
Then light blue particles formed around her hand and katana. Her hand quickly developed into a giant ice spike, and stabbed the titan at the face.
The titan screamed in pain before he collapsed into the ground. The earth shook as its body landed on the ground. Her ice spike quickly subsided as the titan laid dead.
Looking up to giant Herobrine furiously, Persephone remembered what Ray said:
"Remember... you are Minecraftia's last hope..."
"You are... my last hope..."
She swore to herself. I'll not let you down, Ray. I will not leave your death be in vain...
She charged against the giant Herobrine.
* * * * *
Caden dodged the Projectile of a Wither as he moved around. His mind power focused on his levitation, so he floated around. But his mind started giving in, thus his head ached.
"Ow..."
Refocusing back to his feet, he moved away from the hydra, which breathed fire that omitted light through the harsh winter; and the Wither, who kept firing Projectiles.
Caden rose blocks away from his opponents.
Then he concentrated on his kinetic power.
Soon, he heard monstrous screaming. He watched the Wither throw projectiles everywhere, but none went in his way.
The hydra's heads wiggled around wildly. It screamed, until both monsters collapsed.
Caden sighed in relief, but his eyesight faded a little bit as he felt pain in his head.
* * * * *
Milarite stood on her platform, facing a water dragon. The water dragon roared, and it released a water ball. She hovered the platform away from the water ball to dodge it.
Summoning 13 crystal spikes made of various materials, she shot them against the water dragon. It hit the dragon, but it still stood strong.
The water dragon released a water wave, but Milarite summoned a crystal shield.
She rose up a few blocks, then spawned three giant crustal spikes. The dragon flew up, and dodged the crystal spikes. It spewed another water ball, this time above Milarite.
Milarite looked up and saw a water ball coming at her. And she knew that she's oo late to dodge the ball or block it.
When it impacted hardly at her, Milarite felt pain everywhere, as if she had a belly splash on a deep pool that hurt. She tried to stand up, but her energy felt depleted. All she could do was to watch and witness her possible death.
She watched flashes of red, orange, and yellow behind the misty environment, and she saw the dragon collapse.
She turned towards the other dragon, and saw it dueling with Nev. The same flash killed it, too.
She widened her eyes, as she had a very vague idea of who it was.
Nonetheless, she stood back up.
* * * * *
Giant Herobrine felt power knocking in his veins. He opened his eyes, and grinned evilly.
He closed his eyes, still grinning, and concentrated.
Persephone charged against Herobrine, but stopped when she felt pain at the back of her head. Nothing physically hit it, but Persephone still wondered what force was that.
The giant Herobrine laughed maniacally as he concentrated further.
Persephone held her head with hands, and tried to resist the pain.
"Ow..."
Herobrine continued to laugh, not even noticing Lion who snuck behind him.
Lion held a splash potion up, and moved closer to giant Herobrine.
Then he heard glass shattering.
Lion looked up and saw the purple aura surrounding Herobrine disappeared.
"Wow... The potion worked!" he celebrated as something picked him up.
* * * * *
Giant Herobrine gasped when he realized that his barrier broke. Cursing under his breath, he tried making another, but his energy risked depletion.
Persephone went in front of his sight, and morphed herself into a giant Arctic fox.
The Arctic fox charged like a bull against Herobrine. She rammed her head mischievously. Giant Herobrine held the fox hardly at its head.
"Just die already!" Persephone snapped.
"I'm immortal. I can't die," Herobrine replied. Herobrine then summoned meteors out of the sky, crashing everywhere inside Bergenheim.
The others; Nev, Milarite, and Caden charged into the battle. Nev flew to shoot some purple shards against Herobrine. Milarite converted to a giant, crystal golem and rammed into Herobrine.
Stricken aback, Herobrine dueled against the giant golem.
Caden tried to work on stopping Herobrine's brain, but when he attempted to, he felt his consciousness fade away.
He blacked out.
* * * * *
The giant Arctic fox and golem both charged against Herobrine, their feet and paws shake the ground while crushing everything they step on.
Herobrine punched the golem with all his might; but instead, it caused little damage to the golem and a lot for his knuckles.
He winced, and smacked the Arctic fox away. The Arctic fox growled, and charged again.
Herobrine grabbed the Arctic fox by its neck, and held it up high in the air. The Arctic fox wiggled, but nothing it could do.
"Persephone!" a voice yelled from the air. A very familiar one.
A blue phoenix enlarged behind Herobrine.
"GRAHH!" it screamed as it breathed blue fire against Herobrine.
Herobrine shielded it with his arms, still holding up Persephone.
Milarite took this as a chance to break Herobrine's arm.
A loud SNAP! echoed throughout the city as Milarite grabbed the Arctic fox away from Herobrine.
Herobrine looked angrily against Milarite, as he regenerated his arm back to normal.
"I told you, I'm immortal," he said as he shot a huge fireball against Milarite. Milarite failed to dodge it, and she felt the impact of the fireball.
Milarite got knocked onto the ground. Sheer heat and pain struck her.
"Milarite!" Athaliah yelled as Herobrine moved to smack Persephone, but she dodged. Instead, Herobrine struck Nev, and she got knocked all the way back throughout the city.
Athaliah formed blue fire surrounding Herobrine, but Herobrine manipulated the blue fire to hit Persephone.
Persephone's health depleted to a dangerously low level as she couldn't help but lie down and burn to death.
She felt and heard a shattering of glass that made her feel better.
* * * * *
Herobrine then shot a huge water ball towards Athaliah. It did not hurt her as much, but her flames got extinguished by the water.
"No!" Athaliah screamed as she got smacked by Herobrine, knocking herself into the ground in sheer pain.
Athaliah groaned as Herobrine summoned what she dreaded to happen.
Out of the sky, a huge asteroid invaded Minecraftia. It's glowing trail and enormous size passed like a light worm in the sky.
"You forgot me," a voice echoed.
Herobrine turned to see someone riding an elytra, a splash potion ready.
"I cry!" Lion yelled as he bombarded Herobrine with three splash potions.
Herobrine felt his energy fade away as splash potions stuck him. His giant form tried to swat Lion like a fly, but he kept gliding with the elytra.
Persephone stood up in her fox form, and rammed her head against Herobrine. This time, Herobrine failed to block nor dodge the attack, and he got pushed aback. Specifically, right on the ground.
Persephone scratched and bit Herobrine madly. Athaliah joined and pecked Herobrine with her beak. Milarite helped and smashed Herobrine. Lion kept splashing his potions against Herobrine, making him grow weaker.
With his most of his energy gone, he couldn't help but get smashed.
The three finally stopped, but still stood on Herobrine, if not beside.
"You have not seen that last of me, mortals! I'll be back for revenge!" Herobrine cursed.
"Tell that to your meteorite," Persephone said sternly as the team ran away.
"What?"
Herobrine looked to see a giant, burning meteorite coming at him.
