Minecon At Midnight (CaptainSparklez & Team Crafted FF)

MINECON AT MIDNIGHT

CHAPTER ONE

AN: so. Here we are. The long awaited sequel to Minecraft In The Morning. Maybe one day I'll understand why you guys read these things, but hey. I'm not complaining. Love you guys, and enjoy Minecon At Midnight, or MCAM! :)

"Look, all I need you to do is get in there and take a few out. Killing is optional. Just enough to scare them until I can get someone else on the outside. This is the perfect chance, they'll all be together. I can't miss this."

Two men sat at a small steel table, one in all orange and chains. The other donned a Mario style graphic tee and jeans, Air Jordans completing the look. Both were stern and sketchy looking, speaking in hushed whispers.

"What's in it for me? All I see is jail on my end. Everything I'm hearing is for you." The second one asked, sitting back and crossing his arms.

"I've already told you, you'll get the money. Just stay out of sight of the law and you'll be fine. I won't be able to get out of here, most likely. I still haven't had a trial. You'll get the money, okay?" The one in the orange jumpsuit wagered.

"Fine, but you have no promises that this will be done your way. If I don't get the money immediately, it's done my way. Got it?"

"Deal."

Lexi's POV

I jumped and let out a squeak, burying my head in Jordan's chest. He chuckled lightly, pulling me onto his lap and placing a kiss upon my head. We were watching Saw 3, one of my all-time least favorite movies. What were there, like, six of these? How many times can people watch a guy murdering people, how can you make them all different? I wouldn't trust the maker of these movies, just saying. They must be plotting the world's doom or something if they have this many schemes for murder.

"Jordan, do we have to watch this?" I asked faintly, my hands shaking with fear. My boyfriend looked at me sympathetically, grabbing the remote and stopping the movie. I heard the DVD player open, and I sighed in relief.

"Thank you, don't know how much longer I'd have lasted." I got up and quickly but the DVD back in its case before he changed his mind. He chuckled and got up, stretching.

"We didn't have time to watch it anyway. Come on, you promised me we'd record some hide and seek!" He replied, happily bounding off to his recording room. I laughed and walked to my own, which was right next to his. We had both put soundproof foam on the walls so there wasn't an echo of each other's voices while we played. Of course, I was always screaming anyways, so you could still hear me when he was recording.

I sat down, putting on my Razer headphones and moving my Blue Yeti microphone in front of my face. I opened up the necessary recording softwares, such as my webcam and FRAPS. A call from Jordan popped up on skype, and I quickly answered it. "Hive?" He asked, and I agreed. We hopped onto the hive, and were immediately swarmed by fans. Though they were mostly his, I had my own share of people bombarding me. I made my player jump to see over the other characters, which were honestly frustrating me so much. They alwasy seemed to do this, so I had to use an alternate Minecraft account while playing leisurely. I reluctantly hid players, knowing how many people would be disappointed that they were not caught on camera.

"Okay, you ready?" I asked, setting my fingers on the keys necessary to begin the recordings for the loads of softwares I had to use. After a couple clicks, and a little typing, Jordan replied.

"Yeah. 3,2,1, go!" We both began recording and stayed silent, which seemed to turn into a game. Both of us swallowing our giggles and chuckles, attempting to stay quiet. Finally, I gave in, marking him the victor of this sudden competition. "I win!" He cheered as I came down from my laughing fit. He let out a quick laugh.

"Anyways, heyyo guys! LexiTheGreat here! Today I'm back on the infamous Hive with the dork." I said my intro, hinting at the end for him to respond.

"Well they'll never guess if you say it like that..." Jordan mumbled jokingly. I roll my eyes and smile.

"I don't know, pretty sure everyone knows you're a dork by now." I stated smoothly, allowing the silence to sit in the air for a moment before going on. "So! Today we are back on the Hive, and we will be playing some Hide And SEEEKKK!" The last part came out as a sort of screech, and I almost threw my hands over my own ears to protect them from the noise.

"Holy crap!" Jordan's voice replied trough my headphones. With a laugh, we both joined a game and began.

After a couple of games of Hide And Seek, we decided to call it a day. We both still had to upload the last of the things we had pre-recorded and Jordan had a round of the Building Game set up with some friends. I was invited, but I declined. I needed a break.

I know what you're thinking, a break? From video games? Is that possible? Well when your eyes burn so much that Gunnars don't help, and your vision starts to go so blurry you can barely see anymore, that's where I personally cut it off. "Go have fun building things Jordan, I'll be in the living room." He took a second to respond, probably responding to Seth about the recording he was late. Our recording session ran longer than expected, and so he was late for his second one.

"Alright, I'll talk to you in a bit!" He called merrily before ending the call. I stood, raising my arms high above my head and bending backwards, stretching. I let out an exhausted groan, walking over to the door and swinging it open, being mindful to hit the wall loud enough to scare the crap out of Jordan in the next room. I snickered as I heard something being knocked over, and I tiptoed stealthily out to the living room.

"Wasn't me..." I muttered, plopping onto the couch and turning on the tv. I went channel surfing for a while before realizing that nothing was on, so I ran to my room and got dressed to go out. Long-boarding, that would help. I slipped on a random t-shirt and put on a gray sweatshirt to protect me from the elements. It was getting a bit chilly outside, and I knew I wouldn't want to be out in that in a t-shirt. I squeezed into some black worn-out skinny jeans and white converse. I stood up from tying my shoes and dusted my pants off, grabbing my board and writing Jordan a quick note and leaving it on the tv before running out the door.

A rush of excitement ran through me. It's been a while since I've long boarded, and I was eager to start back up again. I placed my bright green board down, then hopped on and began to ride. I sailed past houses, apartment complexes, restaurants. I swerved out of danger, asking tricks every so often. A grin spread across my face as I felt the wind in my hair, causing it to whip around in a furious mess. My eyes darted around, taking in every little detail of my surroundings, what to look out for, when to turn. I rode and rode, I didn't stop. My cheeks turned a rosy red and my nose began to drip, but I kept going. It was exhilarating after so long. I never realized how much I missed my board.

I finally looped back around, and stopped at Krispe Kreme on the way home. I wouldn't be able to ride the rest of the way with a dozen donuts, so I decided to hang onto my board and just take a cab home. As I waited in the long line for the savory rings of dough, I thought about that. My home. Our home. Jordan and I's home.

It was weird. I'm going home to Jordan. I'll be home soon, Jordan. I'll see you at home, Jordan. Even after two whole years of living with him, dating him, I still haven't been able to grasp the fact that it was our home. I own a tiny portion, seeing as I might have paid a bit of the house payment one time. Jordan made it clear after that not to do that, though. He hates me helping to pay for the house, he says he is doing it on his own, that I don't take much space anyways. I reluctantly agreed, and I haven't tried to pay since.

"Ma'am come on you're backing up the line..." The boy rushed from behind the counter. He looked no older than 17, with his more boyish facial structure and his typical khakis and Sperrys. I almost rolled my eyes at how predictable that outfit was, every high school boy seems to don the same apparel nowadays. A nice shirt, khakis, and Sperrys. I dismissed the thought and walked up with a polite smile.

"I'll take a dozen chocolate glazed." I stated simply, tapping my fingernails on the counter to the beat of the seemingly elevator music playing in the background. It was actually quite catchy, much to my surprise.

Mr. Sperrys and khakis sighed, showing his hatred to the dull job he had. Passing out donuts all day, what joy. After finally getting my donuts, I hail a taxi and drive home. I still had to explain why I took so long to Jordan and upload a video, and it was already so late.

Jordan shouldn't care, honestly... I thought as I gazed down at the large cardboard box in my hands. I could easily see the tasty treats through the clear plastic 'window' on the top. They looked heavenly, but I knew it would be better if they got to Jordan has a whole dozen, then I could have some. The taxi stopped in front of the house, and I handed the driver the money before stepping out. The old man behind the wheel smiled, and raised a shaky hand to wave goodbye. I smiled and waved back, his happiness in turn making me happy. The contrast between the stuck up cashier and the cheerful taxi driver was insane, the way I felt after their services so vastly different. The older gentleman seemed so happy with his job, and if you didn't feel the need to smile back, you would have to be heartless.

The cab pulled away, and I waved my hand in front of my face to fan away the smoke it created. After watching it roll down the street, I turned and walked up to our front door, swiftly unlocking it and stepping inside. My board was tucked under my left arm, while the box of donuts was being balanced on my left hand. It was the middle if September, so there were little leaves decorating the large cardboard case of desserts. "Honey I'm hoooommeee!" I called jokingly, placing my keys on the small hook by the door. Jordan walked in, a relieved look on his face as he hugged me around the donuts. I laughed lightly, hugging him back.

"You scared me! You've been gone for like-" he paused to look at his phone for the time. "three hours!" I rolled my eyes with a smile, messing up his hair with my free hand.

"I just went boarding, I'm fine. I'm not that clueless girl I used to be." I replied simply, walking past him and placing the donuts on the counter. I set down my board as he walked to the other side of the counter, leaning against it. I imitated him, knowing he had something to say.

"Yeah, but if you're going to keep going out like this, you know what you'll have to do. It's not safe out there alone." (ITS DANGEROUS TO GO ALONE, TAKE THI- sorry I had a moment) A sly smile spread across Jordan's face, causing me to groan.

"I'm not going to take classes on self defense!" I informed him loudly as I walked over to the fridge and dug around inside. He chuckled.

"If you won't take classes, would you let me teach you? I mean, it'll take a lot of exercising first, but I swear to god it will be useful information, and it will get you active!" Jordan attempted to compromise. I sighed, grabbing a can of coke and closing the fridge, leaning my back against the cool metal door. I thought as I opened it and took a sip, and finally responded.

"Okay, fine."

AN: this is the most boring thing I've written but it's the first chapter, please give it a chance! This story will be like an actual story, with a beginning middle and end. I'm not writing whatever I want like I did with MITM, I get stuck between a rock and a hard place that way. :/ anyways, go ahead and vote for more! If you're excited for this story to really get going, leave a comment down below! Maybe share it around, spread the word that it is indeed out! :) I know some people won't know because they won't look at the MITM update or they aren't following me or they deleted MITM from their library, so if you know that did that that wanted to read the sequel, spread the word! Love you guys, Buh BAIII!
