||Chapter 12||

Lucy stood there dumbfounded. Is this man crazy?

"What?" She asked with her eyebrows furrowed in confusion by the outburst. Natsu stared at her sincerely, Lucy knew she wasn't joking around. He wants her and... their daughter to live with him. Unbelievable.

"I told you. Live with me." He said genuinely.

Lucy scoffed at him and took out of her phone, "You think my daughter and I will live at you house? Absolutely not!" She said and turned her heels to the couch.

"Fine. If you don't want to live me, then let me stay at your apartment for the time being." Lucy's looked up from her phone with wide eyes. Stay? At her apartment?

"No! Plus, this place is too small to fit three people." She argues back and clicked her tongue.

Natsu kept his composure still, "I'm not letting you or our daughter out of my sight." He muttered and walked over to her, quickly took her phone without her consent. "Hey! Give that back!" She whined and tip toed, struggling to get her phone out of his hands. But he was much taller than her, he chuckled.

"You're small." He laughed, patting her head with his other hand making her growl.

"I'm not small!" She complained and tried jumping to grab it but failed.

It's adorable.

He smirked and threw her phone onto the couch, as she was about to get it. An arm wrapped around her waist, struggling to get out of its grasp. "You're honestly so annoying! Let go, would you?" She asked.

"Not until you let me stay here. I won't let go of you." Lucy glared at him and punched his chest continuously but he didn't even wince at the pain.

"You punch like a kid." He teases.

Lucy sighed and banged her head onto his chest, giving up. "Fine. I'll let you stay, can you please let go of me now?" She asked with a pout. Natsu looked at her with his mouth open and gasped...

"Give me a kiss first."

Lucy gaped her mouth, "Are you crazy? You want to stay here, I let you. Now you want me to kiss you? Hell no!" She pushed him but it didn't even do anything. Natsu smirked and made a stealth move, quickly dipping down and pecked her lips. Lucy gasped and covered her mouth, "Y—You... I hate you."

He chuckled, "I know. I heard you loud and clear." After he said that, Natsu finally let
go of her. Lucy sighed in relief and took her phone and placed it in the back pocket of her pants.

"So... when are you staying here?" She asked and went to the kitchen, getting ready for lunch.

"Now." He simply said with a low chuckle escaping his mouth. Lucy gasped her mouth at him, "What? You're not even packed up!"

"I had my... maid do it." He hesitated. Natsu was about to say servant but he knows he'll get killed if he said that to her. Natsu knew Lucy would lecture him about that.

Lucy all of a sudden became flustered. She never had a man sleep in her apartment it was very strange thing. But...

"Why do you even want to stay here?" She questioned while cooking some instant noodles.

She looked over her shoulder and saw him leaning against the refrigerator with his arms folded together, staring at her. Lucy blushed and quickly looked away, "I have two missions. One, is to be with my daughter. For two, is to get what's mine."

Lucy raised an eyebrow at him while turning on the stove, waiting for the water to boil. "And what's that?" She asked.

"You."

Lucy's eyes widened and slowly stared at him like he's from another world. She sneered, "Never." She said and opened a cabinet, grabbing two packs of ramen noodles.

"You know, I won't give up until you finally convince yourself that you're mine."

Lucy laughed bitterly, "We'll see."

"No limit in the sky
That I won't fly for ya.
No amou—"

Lucy felt a vibration and quickly knew that it was her phone. She looked at the screen and accept the call, "Hey. I'm at home..."

While she was talking, Natsu looked around the room curiously and only realized there was a bed in the living room beside the T.V. He looked around and saw only one room and that was his daughter's room. She sleeping there? Can't she just put the bed inside? He thought and walked inside the room without Lucy's consent. The room was full of baby products which he realized that the bed didn't fit.

Looking over the crib, he saw his daughter sleeping soundly. The corner of Natsu's lips tugged up into a grin and held Nashi's small chubby hand with his fingers. The pink haired child stirred and slowly fluttered her eyes open to see her father smiling down to her.

"Hey..." he cooed.

Nashi pouted and lifted her hands up, wanting to get carried by him. Natsu chuckled and picked her up, Nashi slowly put her small head onto her father's shoulder. Her breathing steadying, "Shh..." The father whispered, rocking her.

Nashi lifted her head and made a cute angry face at her father, lifting up a hand and placed it of his face. "Bah..." she groaned.

"I know, I left you. No need to slap me, your mother already did it for you." He smiled at her, Nashi returned a gummy smile, revealing her non-existent teeth.

"What are you doing? You woke her up." He heard a familiar voice behind him. Natsu turned his heels and saw Lucy with an angry expression on her face.

"I didn't. I was just holding her hand and all of a sudden she woke up." Natsu shrugged and saw Nashi looking at her mother confused. But she turned back to her father and started making raspberries at him.

Weird. Usually Nashi cries after she wakes up.

Lucy shook her head and went back to the kitchen. "Take care of her while I cook." She suddenly stopped and looked over her shoulder, "Don't you dare do anything stupid!" She warned.

"Will do, ma'am." Natsu saluted making Nashi laugh at his actions.

After that, Lucy finally finished cooking the noodles and put them in two set of bowls, setting them onto the table. While Nashi and Natsu waited for her to finish, they were having some father and daughter time.

Lucy smiled at the scene in front of her, Nashi was having a fun time with him. For once she was actually relaxed, she looked down.

"Uh... Natsu the food is ready." Lucy said which made both of the hungry pink haired turn their head. "Thank you!" Natsu cheered with Nashi making weird noise, trying to mimic her father. Lucy carried Nashi and placed her into a high chair, opening some baby food.

Natsu say across from Lucy and started eating his ramen noodles. The baby started rocking her feet in excitement, "Mah..." she said. Lucy rolled her eyes and scooped some more of her baby food, "Ah." She ordered while Nashi obeyed her mother's command, opening her mouth.

"Is this what you always do?" Natsu asked with his mouth full.

Lucy sighed, "Yeah, kind of boring, right?" She giggles and fed Nashi again.

"Hey, how about if we go the amusement park?" Natsu grinned and leaned in, waiting for Lucy's response.

"I—I don't know. Nashi hasn't been out all time..." she muttered.

"That's why we're going! C'mon it'll be fun for all of us," Natsu said, "Right Nashi?" He turned his head to look at Nashi that was a mess. Her food was all over her entire face. Nashi just screamed, "I'm taking that as a yes."

Natsu looked at Lucy who was eating, "So, what do you say?"

Lucy sighed.

"Wooooh!" Nashi was mesmerized by the beautiful lights in front of her.

The blonde maiden agreed to his proposal. Now they're in the amusement park in the night, full of people surrounding the place. Lucy felt out of place, some people were looking at them, it felt very uncomfortable for her. "Don't mind them." Natsu whispered into her ear, "Mhm, okay." She whispered back and gripped onto the stroller with Nashi staring at the flashing lights above her.

After hours and hours upon enjoying the amusement park, Lucy still felt timid around him. He would always ask her to join a game but she refuses. Now Lucy was sitting down staring at Natsu that was carrying Nashi, he was playing darts and won. Nashi looked like she was having a good time, he gave her a small teddy bear to her.

"Isn't that her from the magazine? The one who slapped Natsu! She should feel ashamed."

"What a slut. I'm guessing some random guy impregnated her just to pretend Natsu's the father. What a pity."

"Look at her clothes! How did he fall for that hag? He would've fallen for me instead."

Lucy tried ignoring the gossip around her but she can't help it. It made her heart ache, it wasn't true. She wanted to scream, cry her heart out, she wanted all those stupid people to shut up. But it didn't, it kept going.

When she was about to leave, Natsu came back with two cotton candies in his hands.

"Here." He said and gave Lucy a pink fluffy cotton candy. She took it and just stared at it, she looked up and saw Natsu feeding Nashi small chunks of cotton candy to her.

Lucy silently started eating, "Something wrong?" Natsu asked concerned. Lucy faked a smile and shook her head, "No. I—I'm fine." She said.

"Hey, I won something for you." He grinned, "It's nothing much but... here." He popped up a medium sized stuffed, blue cat that had wings.

"Happy." She said.

Natsu looked at her in confusion, "What?"  He replied.

"His name is Happy." Lucy smiled at the stuffed cat and hugged it. "Thank you." She said quickly gave him a peck on the cheek in gratitude.

Natsu grinned and gave her a ring pop in return, "What? A ring pop?" She laughed and opened it. (A/N: this reminded me of Prisoner. A Ethan Dolan ff)

"Don't worry, I'll give you a real ring soon." He winked at her. Lucy blushed furiously and looked away, staring at a couple that was laughing.

All of a sudden they both heard a faint, cute yawn escaping Nashi's mouth. Both of the parents laughed while slowly Natsu places her onto the stroller. "Night, Blossom." He said and kissed her gently on the forehead, Nashi returned a small sleepy groan from her.

"I think we're done for today, let's go home." Lucy stretched while Natsu curt a nod and also yawned.

While Lucy was pushed the stroller, she felt an arm wrapped around her waist. Lucy turned to Natsu and saw him glaring at someone, she looked at the person that made him angry and saw a group of guys smirking at her.

"Yo, MILF! Let me get your number!" One of the guys yelled.

Lucy shook her head when she saw Natsu stick up the middle finger at them, "Go eat a dick!" He yelled back at them.

"Calm down, Natsu. They're just teenagers." She reassured him which made Natsu scoff in return. "Yeah, horny teenagers." He muttered.

Lucy rolled her eyes in annoyance and ignored Natsu's complaints. You were one too. Then how did I get pregnant with your child then?

"Let's go already. I'm tired."

"Okay."

When the family went home, Lucy placed Nashi in her crib and slowly closed the door but not all the way. Both of the parents were tired, "So, where are you going to sleep?" Lucy asked while putting her hair into a high ponytail. Natsu popped up into the bathroom where she was, "Uh, your bed obviously!" He said and waited for her to finish.

"Go sleep on the couch!" She demanded but Natsu shook his head, "No. The couch is too small."

"Fine, then I'll sleep on the couch then. I'm small." She said and walked out the bathroom but all of a sudden she was lifted into the air, she screeched.

She felt a soft cushion on her back while Natsu hovered above her, she blushed. "This is your bed." He said.

"I'll be in the shower, join me?" He smirked mischievously. Lucy immediately pushed him off of her and scoffed, "I let you in my apartment. Don't let me kick you out."

Natsu chuckled softly and walked into the bathroom.

Lucy sat on the edge of the bed regretting everything.

What did I get myself into?
