I roll over to hug Ariella a little longer but I hear something crinkle loudly in my ear if frown then I see a bunch of bags on the bed with paper in them, I look up at the celling and see some ballons all my favorite color and two number balloons for my age. that's what she meant by checking the date.

today is my birthday. I sit up straight then I see her sitting in the chair with her legs crossed wearing just her sports bra and her matching shorts that I bought.

"happy birthday daddy" she smirks then gets up and walks up to kiss me

"thank you, baby, I guess that's what you meant by check the date"

"yep, but you didn't remember" she smiles "come on let's eat you sleep for a long time holy shit" she holds her hand out for me and I grab it

we walk downstairs and I see all this food on the dinner table I see bread, pork soup rice, kimchi, galbi,hotteok, mandu,ramyeon with beef, chicken and an egg on top, I see black bean noodles. all of my favorite Korean dishes. my grandma used to cook this for me. this makes me think about home. "you did all this?" I turn my head towards her

"yeah, i learned this two weeks in advance, I hope that it tastes good, I know how much you miss South Korea and your grandparents so I thought I would bring it home to you, I made bulgogi, and I got your lamb skewers I made the spicy chicken and potato stew soup, also the jjigae, white rice and white rice with red beans I got kimbap as well if you don't like it I'll eat it so it wnt go to waste oo and I made kimchi fried rice too, I got fried chicken for you too I know how much you love fried chicken, i forgot the hangover stew as well, cause jimin told me y'all drank some soju??" she says in a cute accent.

"you're so fucking cute" I pick her up then spin her around kissing her so many times I may smother with so many kisses.

"jungkook eat!" she yells

"yes ma'am" I put her down in the chair and I see my seat next to her has metal chopsticks just like the ones I have at home "why are you so beautiful?" I say turning my head towards her

"my mother raised me right I guess" she smiles

"she did and I thank her"I lean in and kiss her softly, she did this all by herself I feel a little bit bad, she must've woke up really early to cook this all for me. I smile while eating then I look at her

"look babe I wanted you to feel like you were in Korea but your wife doesn't know how to eat with chopsticks" she grabs a fork and she sticks her fork in the black bean noodles.

"no baby let me teach you a trick" I take her fork out then I put the plastic back over her noodles and I flip and shake them around for a couple of seconds then I take her fork and mix the noodles

"and that's how you eat it"I smile

"Oh okay thank you babe" she smiles back

after eating Ariella and I got lazy and we just sat on the couch and cuddled, I honestly think we took about four naps cause of how much food we ate.

"we have to get up, I have another surprise," she says lazily

As were up in the air I look at her then look at the sky looking at all the stars, it's so beautiful out here it's like ignoring the world and just being in your own space, feeling the breeze surging through my bloodstream and having the most beautiful girl sorry woman on this planet with me. It's the best birthday I could've had.

"I love you baby" I pull her in closer and I kiss her softly, I can't imagine myself falling in love with someone else I couldn't imagine myself being this happy in life I couldn't Imagine myself making it to this age. I thought I would've been dead or worse in jail. This woman means the world to me I would give up anything and everything to make her happy she means absolutely everything to me.
