new years eve the day everyone reflects on everything that has happened in one year just this year i moved down to this amazing school met some amazing friends i had a few heart breaks but out of those heart breaks someone helped me regain my wings and my happiness this man right here that i look  at every morning the same man that makes me smile everyday. he brought back the old ariella the ariella that was happy when she was with her mom, he brought the old ariella's smile back as well he saved her, just by being himself. i just how attached i am to him just going a day without him i wanna cry i smile to myself as i go through the Polaroid pictures i made him for Christmas "taking a trip down memory lane?" i hear his soft voice say from the door frame i turn my head in his direction then smile.

"i guess you can say that" he sits down next to me and places his hand on my waist i flip to the picture of us covered in ice cream  i chuckle "remember this?"

"oh yeah, i was playing with you and i accidentally threw it at you and you threw yours back at me, yasmine has great photography skills"

"she does, maybe i should've bought her a camera for Christmas instead of a pandora charm"

"hey,she probably loved it okay?" he says while rubbing my back

"yeah" i flip the page and it's the picture he took of me at the beach "you have photography skills as well" i say while looking at him i smile and he kisses me softly

"yeah i had to snap that one quick cause the sky was pretty and so are you i didn't want that moment to end you were so beautiful well your always beautiful" i grab his face and kiss him then i pull away smiling "i love you so much"

"i love you too jungkook, can i ask you a question?" i say while closing the album book

"ask away cutie"

i sigh then play with his fingers "did you know i was going to be difficult when you first liked me?"

"pssh of course i did why did you think i kept chasing you after all those times I hurt you even when you were with Daniel, everytime I was with you I got this adrenaline rush, you were like a drug I needed I didn't care how long it took me to get you I wanted you and I just knew you felt the same way" he says while kissing my shoulder

"Same go for you , I knew you had a lot of package the way you put up a cold front then when it came to me it's like that wall never existed yeah at times you would be cold but then that warm side would come back and apologize to me , to be honest I thought you hated me but then I saw so much of your caring side I was like he actually loves me but he's too scary to admit it"

"I thought I wasn't going to be good enough cause I wasn't use to the whole boyfriend thing"
"Well you're doing pretty good beautiful" I peck his lips softly

"I got something planned for us" he says while getting up I frown and look at him he offers his hand to me then I get up

"What is it?"
"Secret, my queen" he smiles at me then kisses my cheek "just get dressed" he leaves the room and I roll my eyes then get in the shower.

I come out the shower and Jungkook just stares at me and smiles "ready?"
"Yes" he grabs my hand then we walk out towards his car we both slip in sync, he places his hand on my thigh then he starts driving.

We pull up to this empty park and he pulls out something out of his trunk then he holds my hand and walks in the park , he holds my hand and hands me a lantern I smile and look into his eyes

"I've always wanted to do this baby , this is sweet"
"I know and what better way to end the year by me giving you a speech and how I wanna improve myself next year" he says while smiling

"Ariella, from the day that I met you I just knew you were going to be the end to my misery and the beginning of my happiness, I knew you were going to be a challenge and I was ready to accept anything you threw at me and I just knew that I couldn't let anyone else have you, so my New Years resolution is to open up more to you tell you how I'm feeling instead of thinking to if you see me weak I'm a coward"

"Baby , you can never be a coward, the way you comforted me when they were shooting you weren't even a bit scared and that's when I knew you were my superman"

"And I wanna continue to protect you"
"You already do enough let me take care of you"

Jungkook walks closer to me and he's just inches from my face he chuckles then smiles "this year I want to protect you in every way possible and I want to treat you so much better and also I want to start taking my school work seriously"

"You better cause I want you to go to that music college"
"Oh baby I'm getting in"

I hear people counting down to the new year

"4"
"3"
"2"
"1"

"Happy new year baby" Jungkook says in a raspy voice he leans in and kisses me and we both let go of the lanterns.

My New Years resolution? Oh I don't have any, because everything I wanted is standing right in front of me. My year has already been complete. The only thing I wish for is Jungkooks happiness.

Let's see what this year has to offer.
