Hi, I know I said I'll try and get two published today but I don't think that's gonna' happen. Also I got a vote on The last chapter? I didn't expect that. Now, on with the story...

Adriens POV
The first thing I noticed when I woke up was my banging headache. I watched as the ceiling in my room spun around in circles. Just what I need. BANG! My door flung open to reveal my father, gasping for air, his usual pulled back hair falling down his face in strands. Quickly he snapped his head to me and his eyes softened, the creases on his face relaxing and his shoulders slumped. I was confused by his actions, but even more confused when he came running up to me, enveloping me into a hug. "Adrien I was so worried, after losing your mother, I-I just couldn't let that happen again. The second nathalie told me you were sleeping in bed I came rushing. Where were you, what happened?" I watched as a tear escaped from his eye, he, he was worried? But he never seems to care about me... He missed my last birthday for goodness sake. Yet he, he's crying for me."Adrien please, what happened?" I needed to think of an excuse, quick. I've been missing for over a day with no goodbye. "The- the last akuma... I was kept as a hostage by her... With other kids my age as well. Oh, but it's okay, I'm not hurt, the great Chat Noir and Ladybug came to my rescue, returning all of us trapped safely home" I he lie just seemed to roll off my tongue, although I guess it's not far from the truth. It quickly came to my attention that father had stiffened up completely "why-why didn't I know of this?" As he spoke, he stared out, not looking at anything in particular. How could he know anyway? "How would you even be able to know" i felt the laugh start to emerge from my throat "unless you are hawk moth or something" I burst out laughing then. Imagine, my father, my great enemy, the person I'm always fighting against, trying to stop, stupid. "Aha haha ha, that's would be crazy right?" He laugh sounding a little forced, although I guess he's just trying to act as though he's not worried. "Yeah" my laughs stopped as I said that as I noticed I needed to get to school "fa-dad, don't worry, I'll be careful so this doesn't happen again, but I really need you to go so I can get to school on time. I really appreciate your concern, really, but my friends will be worried too." With that, he left, leaving by scruffing my hair up, boy has it been long since he's done that. I quickly got up and dressed, searched for Plagg and eventually gave up. I pulled out a chunk of Camembert and he came flying like it was a magnet. He dived under my jacket whilst I grabbed my school bag and we ran out of the house, arriving at school just as the bell rang.

{time rewind to the beginning of when Adrien awoke}

Marinettes POV
"Marinette, wake up, your going to be late for school, you've already slept through four alarms!" A small voice awoke me, tiki. I rubbed my eyes, taking in the pink of my walls. I caught sight of my phone and checked the time, quickly shooting up as clambering out of bed. I peered down into my room, seeing a pair of jeans on the floor that clearly weren't mine. Eeek, what, who do they belong to, I,mi haven't brought someone home have I, a boy! My brain officially panicked before remembering that Alya had asked me to repair them as they managed to get ripped. Thank god! After putting my mind at ease, I ran down my stairs and quickly got into my usual outfit I grabbed my own designed purse and school bag that matched my top and went downstairs into our living area. The first thing i noticed was Ma and pa asleep on the settee, holding each other. It's always so cute to see them like this. I grabbed a thin blanket at pulled it over them, before planting a small kiss on both their foreheads. As soon as I kissed Ma, she shot up, looking at me. I watched as the tears started to pool out of her eyes, this awaking Pa. I could tell that Pa was blinking back tears, trying to suppress them. I really couldn't figure out why they were so upset. Suddenly it clicked, I've been missing for over a day, they must be worried sick, they always are when I come home from school half an hour later than usual, although that's not so bad anymore. "Ma, Pa, I'm so so sorry" just as I was about to continue, I was interrupted "where were you/where have you been?" They both said at the same time. I told them that I had been kidnapped by the akuma as well as many other children my age, explaining that I was blindfolded so I couldn't see who anyone else was. I'm mean it's not exactly far from the truth. I heard a distant bell sound and panicked, I'm late. "I've got to go, I'm so sorry but I'll explain properly after school, oh and I'll be careful don't worry. Bye" good, this gave me enough time to come up with a better explanation. I kissed both my parents cheeks and ran down into the bakery, grabbing a pastry on the way and sprinted to school. I ran through the school doors before rumbling into something, or someone...

Okay sorry, I'm going to have to leave it there, it's 23 mins past eleven and I need to sleep for tomorrow, I could easily get consumed in writing right now but before I know it will be one AM.
