Authors note: this is my first story so please forgive me if I mess up :) I would also like to add that this chapter might make school look bad, but it's just the way that it fit in along with it. Last thing, I have am now editing this chapter to say that this one is definitely the worst of my chapters (so far) and that they get better.

Marinette was once again day dreaming into the back of the boy sitting in front of her. This was a regular thing for her. Usually she wouldn't get much work done, get asked a question by her teacher and then make a fool of her self by blurting out something stupid. After that, Alya would usually come to the rescue by giving some excuse to explain why her friend was acting like this; and of course Marinette would have to play along...

"Marinette, could you please give us the answer?" Asked her teacher with a calm and yet slightly impatient tone of voice."Mrs. Marinette Agreste" she sighed, resting her head lightly on her hand. "NO! Um I mean- well - um, what was the question again?"
Her teacher just let out a long, low sigh before being interrupted by Alya with " Miss I'd like to apologise for Mari as um she uh... she has had a bit of a cold this week and it keeps messing with her head!"
"Marinette, detention after school, I've had enough excuses for one week" her teacher snapped. Then a small groan was heard from marinettes direction.

Adriens POV:
I always tune into others conversations during class, it's what keeps me going, this time in particular I was listening in to Chloe's.
"Sabrina, when she is not looking after school, plant these in Marinettes bag and then trip over it, sending them flying. I see on how she is eyeing up my Adrikins and she is going to pay!" I heard Chloe whispering with a disgusted tone in her voice to Sabrina minion, only once lightening up to the word 'Adrikins'.
I felt the blush rise to my cheeks, 'Marinette, eyeing me up?'. I looked behind me only to watch the girl jump in a panic, her face bright red. 'Wow she's cute, wait what, no Adrien your heart belongs to Ladybug, but still she's cute!' I looked back around to focus my attention on the lesson when I suddenly remembered Chloe's words. 'What does she mean she is going to pay? I don't want Mari to get hurt or anything, but Chloe wouldn't do that,well only feelings wise anyway...'. For a brief moment I decided to put my attention back onto the lesson and I quickly jotted down some notes before letting myself be re-consumed with my thoughts. 'If Chloe is going to try anything funny with Marinette, then I want to be there to protect her ( Marinette that is), however it's after school and I have a photo shoot then' this worried me as it was always extremely difficult to get out of  them, I quickly ran through the list of ways to get out, and then came up with the conclusion of simply having to get a detention myself.this would also mean that father would be furious, eh what the hell.

From Marinettes point of view:
I was staring into the back of Adrian's golden hair when he suddenly bolted up and slammed his fists on his desk. He then continued by throwing everything off of his desk. It all landed with a clatter and I was left wondering on what had gotten in to him. You can then imagine how startled I was when he turned and winked at me, I swear my heart skipped a beat that moment. Then before I knew it, miss told Adrien that he would be paying a punishment of a detention. Without warning I opened my mouth and surprise surprise made a fool of my self. "NO! I-I mean, ehh well he, errm he probably didn't, well he probably didn't realise what he was doing and errm..." I trailed off and sat back down in my seat, blushing crimson I mumbled an apology and hung my head to hide my face. I'm such an idiot!

Third person:
Adrien blinked at Marinette a few times, trying to understand on why the sudden outburst. He soon turned back to his teacher and sighed "yes miss" he mumbled, unable to suppress the smug grin on his face. Luckily for him no one noticed that look, otherwise rather than picking his bits up off the floor right now, he would be receiving many a questions not only on the said outburst, but also on his look.
...
Finally after hours of lesson time, the bell sounded for the end of the day and Adrien, Marinette, Chloe (holding her phone to face Marinette) and Sabrina were left sitting in their seats while everyone else left the room. Both Marinette and Adrien mouthed a 'sorry' to their two friends as they exited the room. They all sat in silence for about 10 minutes before Nino poked his head through the door. "Dude come here for a sec- ah, I mean, please excuse Adrien for a moment as I need to talk to him, thank you miss" . Adrien left the room and when he returned, everything was as he left it, apart for the fact that Marinette was now bright red and looked like she was possibly going to cry. This of corse made Adrien worry and so he asked her on what the matter was. She then simply shuck her head and buried it in hers arms and the room was in silence for the rest of the lesson. 'It's strange ' Adrien thought 'I was sure Chloe was going to try something' but sure enough the time continued to tick by and before they knew it, they were dismissed.
