Did I scare you last chapter? I hope not! Yes there is death in this book but not Eren death! Remember what he said about his ability to heal? Keep that in mind.

Levi's POV

"EREN!" I exclaimed as he got eaten... Alive. He didn't scream. He didn't cry for help. He didn't do anything. Everyone was silent the only thing that was heard was titans walking away from their meal. Silent tears rolled down my face. I lost him... Just like I lost them. I watched the titan that ate him walk away, but was I gonna let it go? No. No I was not!

I chased it down. Ignoring everyone as they screamed for me to come back. NOT A CHANCE! I flew through the trees chasing that titan down. Everyone right behind me. I flew over its head and landed on a branch a good distance away from it but right in its line of sight, Armin and Mikasa landed next to me ready to take it on. It spotted us and started running straight for us, fast.

"HAVE YOU GUYS LOST IT?! GET AWAY FROM THERE!" Four eyes... If I die doing this then I really hope they make you captain. You deserve it after all you've been through.

Suddenly, five feet away from us the titan stopped and started groaning in... Pain?

It started clawing at it's stomach and screaming. We watched eyes wide as a part of its stomach started to turn red, then purple until... A large gash started to appear.

"Ew! Ew! Ew! EW!" Eren's head started to push through and the titan started to scream even more. "What the hell are you people waiting for?! A little help would be nice!"

Without hesitation the three of us used our hooks to latch onto to titan and pull ourselves over there. Armin and Mikasa pulled the gash open more and I pulled Eren out, soon as his torso was out noticed that he didn't have his ODM Gear anymore. We fell to the forest floor, Eren panting for breath and smoking from all the titan blood on him. As he laid there trying to catch his breath something sparkled in the sun light... His arms. They were covered in some sort of crystal, my eyes widened as they turned back to normal.

"TIMBER!"

Four eyes exclaims and I look up just in time to see the titan about to fall. ON US! Eren grabs my arm and flings me out of the way. The titan lands right on top of him... WHY?!?!?!!!

Wait nevermind his fine. A vein popped on my forehead as I see him lifting the titan corpse up. Don't get me wrong I'm happy he's okay but he keeps giving me a heart attack! I'm 25 years old! I shouldn't be having heart attacks at this age!

(I forgot! Levi is 25 in this book and Eren is 20. So in other words things that happened before like Isabel and Farlen dying happened when Levi was in his teens or early twenties and Eren became an orphan at the same age he was in cannon but it happened a few years earlier than in the cannon. Does that make sense? Probably not XD if you guys want me to elaborate more then let me know and I'll try to explain it to the best of my ability. I know what I wanna say I just don't know how to say it XD)

He was kinda struggling actually, he started pushing it up but he could only lift it up a certain height before it came down on him. The other scouts landed next to me watching in awe at the scene before us. It's not everyday you see someone lift up a titan corpse I'm gonna have a lot of explaining to do later. Mikasa and Armin, ran to his side and started to help him push it until they were able to push it into its back.

"Oh gods! Eren you stink!" Armin says chuckling lightly as he holds his nose.

"Ha Ha! Very funny! I'd like to see you try to claw your way out of a titan and still smell like flowers." Eren say as he passed his hands through his hair only to gag lightly at the slime that he felt in there. Ya he's not touching me until he has a bath, but I must say Eren with his hair slicked back like that must happen again.

"Yeager! You have a lot of explaining to do!" Jean says walking, well more like stomping, his was to the trio.

"Jean please!" Marco says holding his shoulder.

"Back off horse." Mikasa says standing in front of Eren.

"What'd you call me?!"

"Guys stop!"

"Yeager don't have to explain anything to you!"

"Why are you protecting him Ymir?! Him and his friends are monsters!"

"Connie what the hell are you saying?!"

"Shut up potato girl! God how stupid can you be?!"

"HEY! LEAVE SASHA ALONE! SHE DIDN'T DO ANYTHING TO YOU!"

"BACK OFF YOU BLOND COCONUT!"

"EXCUSE ME?!"

"What did you just call my best friend?!"

"ENOUGH!"

All heads turned in my direction. You gotta be kidding me, how the hell did these guys get this far when they act like this!

"I'll explain everything when we're not sitting ducks! Now get on your horses! There's a safe house near by and I don't wanna hear a word from any of you until we get there!" All of them look away faces red with embarrassment.

"Eren! Since you stink you'll ride in a cart until we can get you to a shower. You two stay with him." The trio nod in response.

"Ha! Bitch made!"

"YOU WANNA LOSE SOME TEETH HORSE?!"

"LIKE HELL YOU CAN BEAT ME!"

"TRY ME!"

"COME AT ME!"

"ARMIN STOP! He's not worth it."

"HORSES NOW!" I exclaim. I am up to here with these recruits! I'm gonna start growing grey hair before my time.

TIME SKIP

Eren's POV.

The three of us are in a cart which is being pulled by Königin who is being lead by Levi and Charlotte. The silence surrounding us right now is all most deafening, no one talked. No one said a word. Levi won't even look at me.

"You know Eren your lucky." Mikasa's voice cuts through the silence.

"What do you mean? Mikasa, I'm anything but lucky." I say smiling.

"You have Levi." My smile drops.

"Mikasa."

"I had her. She was right in front of me. I looked into her eyes, she was the one Eren. I wanted her, I wasn't gonna rejected her, I wasn't disgusted. There was nothing but love and affection on my face. But when I told her, there was nothing but hatred in her eyes." Mikasa was devastated, tears filled her eyes. All me and Armin could do was comfort her.

"I know for a fact. That when we find her, in her human form... She's gonna reject me and I have no choice but to accept it or else we'll both die." Mikasa say sobbing into her hands.

"Listen to me Mikasa. If she rejects you I want you to accept it and find your second chance mate. She'll see the mistake she made. Your the best person anyone could want for a mate and if she can't see that then it's her loss." I say squeezing her hand in reassurance.

"Besides! She's probably feeling the pull of the mate bond and is completely miserable. As one should when their far away from their mate."

"So she's suffering because of me?!"

"Way to go Armin."

"What? I was stating facts! Am I not allowed to speak facts?"

I shake my head at Armin's behavior, I swear he does this on purpose just to mess with us. Before we knew we were staring each other down eyes blazing yellow... Until Mikasa smacked us both over the head.

"Okay you two stop it. We're already in a lot of trouble already, the last thing we need is to make Levi madder than he already is." She has a point, I was about to apologize until she wiped some titan slime she got from my head onto Armin.

Armin didn't react, he was frozen. Until something flipped in his head and he started freaking out. Everyone watched him like he was crazy, not to mention I was dying of laughter. Also if you listen closely you can hear Mikasa laughing in the background.

"Alright brats we're here." Almost immediately Armin jumps out of the cart and into the castle.

"H-hey! Wait for me!" I exclaim chasing after him. Does he even know where he's going?

TIME SKIP! NEXT SCENE!

After a nice, long, COLD shower I finally got the disgusting titan stomach acid out of my hair, Armin helped of course. It's time to explain everything to the other scouts which I don't see why we should, it's none of their business. We're all seated in a dining room discussing everything. Well Levi and the scouts were discussing everything, Armin, Mikasa and I were in our heads either daydreaming or having a casual conversation with our wolves.

Is it me or is Levi's ass just a picture of pure beauty!

'Everything that's a part of Levi is pure beauty.'

You are so right. When do you think we'll be able to... Umm

'Fuck him?'

Yes!!!!! Wait Levi's calling us.

'What are you talking about? I don't hear him.'

Well he's gonn-

HEY!!!!!

"What the?!" I flew backwards in my chair as Levi's voice boomed in my head. "Holy shit that was loud."

"What else can they do?" Connie asks eyes sparkling. I sent a glare his way, he's acting as if he never said that we're monsters.

"They can turn into wolves. Eren, could you kindly demonstrate?" Now to anyone else that was a question, but if you could stare right into his soul like I can, you'll know that you have no choice in the matter. I just nod and proceeded to shift, making sure I removed my shirt and pants first.

"Holy shit! He's huge!" Jean exclaims eyes wide. I growled loudly in his direction, almost immediately he was in the other side of the room. I smirk at his reaction, not so tough now are ya!

"I've already explained the whole mate thing but let this be known. You can't tell anyone, not even the higher ups! If their not in the scouts or have direct relation to me or the Commander you keep your mouths shut!" Levi exclaims those steel eyes glaring daggers at them.

"With all do respect captain. Why can't we tell anyone?" Sasha asks head tilting to the side in confusion. Levi sighs and starts scratching behind my head before he continues.

Holy shit that feels nice!

"Lets make this clear. The scouts are the outcasts, everyone thinks we're idiots. The Garrison Regiment, the Royal Guard. They all would rather us all dead. We can't trust them, it's us against the world. Which is why loyalty is such an important thing in the scouts."

If I didn't know any better I would've thought that the scouts are a pack of wolves. They pride themselves on loyalty but I guess SOME people forgot that.

"Its been like this for years. Although they have the upper hand with the guns, cannons and protection in the walls. We have something they don't, a working brain and body. While they rely on weapons we rely on our strength, reflexes and the ability to make decisions quickly." Hanji states, yep these people are wolves.

"Its been a long day. I suggest you all go to bed, we continue to the walls tomorrow." With that everyone went their separate ways, I followed Levi to our room but before I could enter he closed and locked the door.

My ears pinned back as I heard him sobbing. I laid down in front of the door and listened to him cry, as much as I want to comfort him I can't. He need to be alone right now and I'll respect that.

Looks like we're sleeping on the floor tonight.

'Just like before huh... It's kinda funny how everything has come full circle'

Yeah... We went from leaving the walls and having nothing, literally sleeping on the forest floor in a place surrounded by titans. To having an oasis and a mate, literally everything we could ever want! Now instead of moving forward it feels like we're moving back... Now if that ain't cliche as shit I don't know what is!

'I guess so... Do you think Levi is gonna be alright. It hurts to see him like this.'

When he's ready he'll come to us. Just be patient.

'Your right'

Of course I am! Now get some rest, our journey isn't over yet.

I let out a small sigh and curl up into a ball in front of the door. I'll just when do wait till the morning to see what happens. Goodnight world... And goodnight Levi.
