( Leah's POV )

I was bored out of my mind, doing my makeup because me and Freya were going on a double date with Caitlin and Kate, respectively.

  The dinner's at six p.m. and it's only 2 p.m., but I like getting ready earlier than I have to. Caitlin's currently in my living room, working on some assignments before the next few basketball games.

  Due to it being so early, I figured that it wouldn't hurt to go live on Instagram.

   "Hello, live." I waved my hands as the words came out of my mouth, smiling brightly at my phone. The comments were slightly out of pocket, but I just ignored them.

  username38: are you getting ready for something?

  "I am getting ready for something," muttering the last word under my breath as I get the lip liner on my makeup table. "Me and my girlfriend are going on a double date with Freya and her girlfriend."

  username31: who's your girlfriend???
username96: can you tell us who your girlfriend is???

  I squint at my phone, trying to read the comment before it goes out of view. "Hm, will I ever tell you guys who my girlfriend is? Maybe." I shrug at the end of my sentence. Me and Caitlin have considered it, but we decided to do it over the summer. Everything will have hopefully calmed down for the both of us, between basketball and school.

  I smile when I look away from my mirror and to my phone and see that Caitlin joined. It's not like we can't pretend to be friends on social media. Grabbing my mascara, I look at the comments as I twist open the tube.

caitlinclark22: make sure you don't poke your eye out

  "Caitlin, I am not going to poke my eye," I roll my eyes as I say it, knowing full well that I'm probably going to poke my eye. She's watched me do my makeup enough times to know that it happens at least once every time I apply it.

  "Fuck," I yell, my eye closed as it continues to burn due to the mascara wand hitting it. I don't even realize I swore on live until a few people mention it.

MagicMacey4859: Wow, you swear? That's so unladylike. How are you going to find a good husband?

  "I'm a lesbian, Macey." I chuckle to myself as I read through the comments again.

  "Oh my God, Freya," I excitedly yelled, happy that she finally got on my live. "Bitch, I was waiting for you to come on."

freyarogers: sorry, bowie threw up when you went live

  "Oh, shit. Is he okay? Anyway, I need your opinion."

caitlinclark22: does my opinion mean nothing to you??

  "It does, ba- Caitlin," I awkwardly look away from the camera as I realize I almost called her babe on the internet. Though, I quickly try to pretend it never happened. "Freya just knows what outfit I'm planning on wearing tonight. About that, blossom or rosemary?"

username35: did she just call that girl babe??
freyarogers: i think blossom

  "Blossom, it is then."

The door to my room opens, but my phone is angled so that they can't see it. I look at Caitlin immediately when I hear the door opening, and by the cocky smile on her face, I can tell she knows exactly what she's doing.

"Hey, baby," Caitlin greets me, only letting her face show and not coming in. "I'm done with my schoolwork."

"Oh," I say, remembering that I told her to let me know whenever she was done with her homework so we could hang out for a bit. I just didn't expect her to come in my room while I'm live. "I'll just be a second, let me just end it."

She nods, closing the door gently. I slowly turn my head towards my phone with an awkward smile. "Well, then. I think It's time for me to get off now."

Before I press the end button, I catch a glimpse of the comments.

Closing my phone, I scream into my hands. I don't know what just happened, but it seems like some people aren't as oblivious as I thought they were.

"Cait, you can come in," I yell out, knowing that she's probably right outside my door.

True enough, she comes in right as I'm done talking. She walks over to my little desk and puts her arms around me from behind. I'm still sitting so she has to lean down a bit. We look at each other's faces in the mirror as we talk.

"What was that?" I have a smile on my face, so she knows I'm not mad. I'm just more confused on where this sudden boldness came from.

"You weren't paying attention to me anymore," the browned haired girl pouts at me, pressing a few kisses to my head.

"Well, let me just do my makeup then I'll pay a lot of attention to you to make up for it." I negotiate, leaning my head back and looking up at her.

"Can I watch you do your makeup?"

"Of course," I say as she leans down even more to kiss me on my lips.
