Newt and I go to the kitchens. We both wait in a line to get our food, receiving dozens of stares from the other boys.

"What are you shucks looking at?" I hear Gally say from infront of me, the boys close to the front of the queue were so distracted they didn't realize that they were holding up everybody.

Newt and I get eventually get our food before I follow him to a table, where two other boys were.

We both sat down before one of the boys, who looked about 12, introduced himself. "Hey greenie, I'm Chuck! Do you remember your name yet?"

I still can't remember a thing, why is that? "Erm, no." I reply, shortly and honestly. Chuck smiles at me before saying "Ahh don't worry, give it a few days and it'll come back to you."

I look over to see who Chuck's sat next to. The boy smiles at me before saying "Hey, I'm Minho. So, what do you think of The Glade so far?"

"It's alright I guess, but I don't know why I got sent here?" Minho quickly replies, "None of us do."

After that nobody really said anything so we sat there just eating our food in silence before Chuck whispers to me from across the table, "erm greenie, why's Gally staring at you?" He points to where Gally's sat.

I turn around and notice that Gally is staring at me, when he realizes that I've noticed he quickly looks at his empty plate, avoiding eye-contact with me.

What the hell was that about? Was he plotting my death or something? I look back at Chuck, who has a huge on his face. He whispers to me again, "I think somebody has a little crush on you!"

"Shut up Chuck. Gally hates me, and I hate Gally!" I say a little too loud, but not too loud so people on other tables can hear me.

However Newt and Minho obviously heard me as Newt tells me "Gally doesn't hate you, he just hates change. We've never had a girl here before and all of a sudden out of nowhere you show up. It's just surprised him a little, it's surprised us all infact!"

Wait, so they've never had a girl here before? That would explain the whole shock of everything I guess. The conversation ends there as everyone's finished eating.

It wasn't too long after dinner that everybody started heading back to their sleeping bags. I'm already exhausted, but this is only the beginning.
