"AGAIN?" LORAINE ASKED HENNA in pure concern as Henna waved her off. "Lemme see." She asked leaning towards the bruises scattered around Henna's lower jaw. "It's fine Lor, I'm good" She muttered clocking in with the sheet as Lorraine sighed. "No it's not. You gotta get out of there, I told you my place is always open" The older girl argued as they both stepped behind the working counter. "I refuse to leave Danai with her. Plus I'm saving up so maybe in a few months I can move out" Henna replied as Loraine sucked her teeth. "She's gonna end up killing you one day Hen-Hey, What can I get for you" Lorraine says interrupting herself as someone approaches the counter.

"I'm sorry i'm late!" Henna said running into the church as the choir director smacked her teeth. "I'm tired of you pulling this Henna. Imma tell your mother, maybe you don't need to be in choir" The aunt asked silently looking over the girl's tired eyes. "No! I'm sorry Ms.H, I won't be late again. Don't tell ma" She pleaded making the elder woman sigh. "Get to your spot. You're leading this sunday" She replied making Henna quickly comply as she slipped on her robe. "How Great Thou Art, from the second verse" the choir instructor asked as a group of people walked into the church quietly.

When Christ shall come

Jimmy watched in awe as Henna sang not even noticing the group until she opened her eyes making her abruptly stop at the end of the chorus,locking eyes with Rabbit. Ms.H shot her a look as she turned to glance at what she was looking at. "What're you boys doing here?" Ms.H said as Future engulfed the choir instructor in a hug. "Hey to you too Auntie" He said as Ms.H playfully pushed him off while Rabbit made his way to Henna. "I didn't know you sang in church choir" He said as she shifted on her feet. "Yeah, so what?" She said defensively as Cheddar Bob came up to them. "Nothin', I think it's cool" He said as Cheddar Bob angled his face to get a better look at her. "What's the shit on your chin Hennessey?" Cheddar asked as Henna immediately shifted putting her hand over the bruises. "It's Henna, Cheddar. And it's nothing you gotta worry about." She said as Jimmy's eyes scanned over her. "You sure-Henna, David's gonna give you a ride home!" Ms.H called out as Henna furrowed her brows. "Future don't got a car Ms.H?" She said in confusion as Future gestured to Rabbit who raised his keys in the air.

"Oh."

"Fuck Tupac!" Sol George exclaims as he and his brother argue. "Shit, I would" Henna mutters making everyone in the car turn to her. "What? That nigga is fine with a captital F" She said as Future pushed her head from where he sat making her reach over and twat him. "He's right. His shit has emotion." Future says as Jimmy continues to drive silently making Henna lean over. "You good?" She asks as the continue to argue in the back. "I'm straight" He replies as she gives him a look.

"You don't look okay" She said giving him a playful look as he turned to look at her. "Says you" He said gesturing to her chin which made her smile dampen. "That wasn't needed but okay" She spoke rolling her eyes as she sat back in her seat making him sigh. "Sorry, I ain't mean-It's whatever rabbit" She said looking down at her nails as everyone in the car found a new notice to the tension. Things got quiet but only for a second as Rabbit swerved the car around making her gasp. "What the fuck?!" Henna questioned as Rabbit parked and got out of the car. Everyone else started to do the same before Future looked to Henna who was still seated. "You coming?" He questioned as she smacked her teeth.

"I'm staying my pretty ass in the car, the fuck?"
