A WHOLE YEAR PASSED. A whole year since Tsukishima and L/n had met. They'd practically become inseparable. Even virtually. They hadn't in real life yet. They'd been through it all, online. That had to change.

Tsukishima grew worried as L/n hadn't responded to his messages for the past two days. He was always checking his notifications and couldn't keep his head in the game.

Yamaguchi saw his bestfriend fidgeting as he looked at his phone for the hundredth time and approached him. " They still haven't responded?"

The blond looked at his friend seeming annoyed. " Do you think I'd be checking my phone like maniac if they had?" He sighs. " Sorry. I'm just fucking stressed."

" It's okay. I understand. Maybe they have a good reason." He patted his shoulder in comfort.

Y/n had told him to be nicer with Yamaguchi when they'd first met him. Tsukishima obeyed obviously, which earned him a "good boy". (Gabriella's idea btw)

"HOW DO YOU FEEL?" Gabriella asked Y/n as they got ready to board the train.

" I'm excited. Really excited." They were scared out of their mind. Meeting someone for the first time when you're socially awkward isn't the easiest thing ever.

" Bae, everything is gonna be alright." Emiko reassured them as he could feel their anxiety.

" I hope so."

"TRAIN TO MIYAGI FROM TOKYO ARRIVES IN 1 MINUTE. PLEASE STAND AWAY FROM THE EDGE."

Y/n sighed. This was actually happening. They were gonna meet him. For real.

" Okay. It's time. " Gabriella brought them into a huge hug. " You got this."

Emiko at his turn engulfed his taller friend. " Go get your man."

" Emi." They deadpanned.

" Okay, okay." He chuckled letting go of them.

" THE TRAIN TO MIYAGI FROM TOKYO HAS ARRIVED. "

" Have fun."

" I'll try."

" Text us when you get there."

They waved back at their friends before sitting at their seat.

" I got this."

5:08 pm

Tsukishima Kei:
Y/n? Are you alright?

I've been leaving messages
left and right but you still
Haven't responded.

Y/n?

Read at 5:09pm

" What the hell? They read my text but still didn't respond. " His words made Yamaguchi look up and text furiously on his phone. " What are you doing?"

He almost squeaked in surprise. " Nothing."

" Yamaguchi, do you know something I don't?"

" Nope. Look at the time." He said awkwardly before leaving.

Kei stared at him as he went further down the streets.

" Y/N!" Yamaguchi shouted to get their attention. After spending, 90 minutes on the train, they were finally in miyagi.

" Tadashi!" Y/n waved at his as he approached them.

" You're finally here! Thank God, I don't think I could've stayed with Tsukki any longer. " He rubbed the back of his neck.

" Yeah, I know. He's been blowing up my phone, like crazy." They shook their head. " Was this close to blocking him."

The duo chuckled. Y/n felt really comfortable with Tadashi, same for him. They got really close which and made Tsukishima jealous for a while. Sometimes they would ignore him and just talk to each other.

" He's exhausting sometimes. " He looked at up at the clock that was at the station. Hie eyes widened. " We should go. Tsukki will get home soon."

The nerves that had momentarily dissapeard came back in a second. They were really nervous.

" Yeah..."

Tsukishima was finally home. He had decided to take a walk before to clear his mind. Wasn't really the best idea as there was snow all over the streets. As he approached the door, his brother opened the door and stared at him.

" What?" Kei asked as he entered the house.

" Yamaguchi is here." Akiteru responded with a smirk.

" Okay." As he went for his room, he could hear his brother chuckle.

Opening the door, he was met by two familiar faces. One he'd just seen today and another he'd been trying to talk to.

" Y/n?" Kei was more than shocked. I mean, his online bestfriend was in his room wearing a Santa hat. I'd be shocked too.

" Hi." They waved feeling shy. He approached them and the two stared at eachother before smiling. " How are you?"

" I'm alright. How about y-"

" If y'all don't hug right now!" Gabriella's voice interrupted them. They had put them on video call and they were regretting that choice.

" She's right." Tadashi shrugged at the look he was given.

Tsukishima stared at them contemplating if he should. They sighed and pulled him into a hug which took him but surprise. He brought his arms up and held them tight. Aww's filled their ears.

" I'm happy to finally meet you, Kei."

" Me too."

" Dude, I need a girlfriend. This made me feel so single." Gabriella fake sobbed as she watched them hugging.

" Please, this is so annoying. I can't spend another Christmas single." Emiko added.

" Christmas is tomorrow, we're fucked. "

" Exactly. Let's spend it together. You'll be my girlfriend for the day and I'll be your boyfriend for the day."

" Yes, we'll be a gay couple. Literally." Y/n stared at them before laughing.

" You guys are weird."

" Shut up. Go back to your boyfriend." She flipped them off.

" Gabe.." Tsukishima looked away, flustered at the thought. It wasn't hard to develop feelings for someone like them.

" I mean..." He muttered which made them look at him. " I agree. I don't feel like spending another Christmas single."

They all gasped, except Y/n who froze. " What do you mean?"

" I'd like to spend it with you, Y/n."

" Holy shit. He got bold out of nowhere. " Emiko whispered but everyone heard it.

" So, what do you think?"

"MERRY CHRISTMAS, Y/N." He kissed the palm of their hand.

" Merry Christmas, Kei." They snuggled into him as they watched the snow fall from the sky.

" Merry Christmas, you fucking love birds." Gabriella and Emiko shouted from the other side of the room, as they hugged eachother and Yamaguchi. They came to Miyagi right after Tsukishima and L/n started dating. They had to see this for their own eyes.

" Merry Christmas, you fucking idiots." Y/n shouted at them.

" I hate them."

" Please, you're just jealous."

Gabriella got up in defense. " Wanna fight?"

" Let's go!"
