KHUSHI

We dint do much the previous day as we were already kind of tired with all the travelling and hangover and stuff, so today was going to be the fun day. We had a lot of plans and I was sure as hell they were going to be beautiful.

The strangest thing happened today though, I was the kind of a person who rarely had dreams, I would only have dreams when I was sick or when something really disturbed me, I guess whatever that happened between Arnav and I had kind of left me disturbed no wonder I ended up dreaming about him.

It wasn't a nightmare though, it was just a beautiful romantic kind of a dream, I just hoped I wouldn't have dreamt though, because it meant that my heart was hoping for something that was impossible.

For the first time in my life, I was interested in a guy and not in a lustful way, I was hoping maybe this was going to be the love I had been looking for, maybe this time I was actually going to fall in love and maybe he was actually going to love me, the way I always wanted to be loved, crazily, madly and deeply, but looks like that wasn't ever going to happen.

I brushed off the thoughts and headed to take a shower, I stood under the shower as the warm water fell on my body, all I wanted was to be at peace, to feel calm and relaxed, that's what holidays were supposed to be about, but even after trying so hard, I ended up thinking about Arnav, I no more knew what exactly was wrong with me.

My thoughts were broken by Ananya who kept on knocking at the door of the bathroom telling me to come out because we were going to be late, I quickly finished showering, turned off the shower, put on a bathrobe and walked out.

"You better get ready quickly, we're leaving in half an hour." She said as she ran inside to take her shower.

I sighed as I looked at my bag, I dint know what to wear and then suddenly I remember Ananya wanted us to twin and yesterday while shopping, we had bought some matching clothes so I decided to put those on.

By the time I was dressed, she was out of the bathroom, she got dressed in the same outfit as mine, quickly combed her hair and did some light make up as the both of us rushed downstairs where our tour guide was waiting for us.

We got into our car and took off, the both of us were excited to explore this new place.

"So, where are we heading to?" Ananya asked.

"We're visiting three beautiful places today, worthy of Instagram pictures, you can take a lot of them. First we will start by visiting the Gate of Heaven, it's such a beautiful place." He looked at us excitedly, we nodded as we sat silently in the car waiting to arrive.

When we arrived there, I believed the tour guide's words, this place was gorgeous, the weather was pretty good too and it kind of felt like we were in heaven.

Ananya ran to stand in between the gate already posing for pictures, I smiled as I grabbed my camera and started clicking her pictures, after she was done taking pictures, I posed for some too. After that we visited the temple, look around and admired the beautiful place and then got back inside the car and headed to our second destination which was the Royal Water Palace.

I dint even know how to explain in words how beautiful this place was, it was so amazing, so gorgeous. I could stay here forever, it was so peaceful.

We spent a lot more time in this place because Ananya and I both dint really feel like leaving, I mean if it were possible we could have even slept there.

Once we were done, we got back into the car, it was afternoon, so we decided to have lunch at tirta gangga, Ananya was already uploading the pictures we took at the water Palace on Instagram.

"Everyone is going to be so jealous of us, you should upload a picture too." She said.

I shrugged, I dint really want to upload a picture, because Arnav would find out where I was and I dint want that, I don't even know why I dint want him to find out.

But then I decided I wasn't going to ruin this adventure thinking about him finding out and all, I dint want to care about him at all, so I selected the picture I liked the most and uploaded it on my Instagram too.

We arrived at the gorgeous gardens of Tirta Gangga where we took a lot more pictures and had lunch too then we continued ahead.

After that we headed for the jungle swing, this was the most famous of all, I mean how many people had I seen posting videos of this place on Instagram.

Ananya was very confident for the swing, she wasn't scared even a bit, and as for me, as much as I wanted to sit on the swing, I was scared as hell too.

The best part about travelling with your best friend is that they know how to convince you and that's what Ananya did, she managed to convince me to sit on the swing and it was such a thrilling experience, I couldn't stop smiling and enjoying it.

"Let me take a slow motion video of you on the swing, you have to take one for me later too." She giggled.

Once the swing was pushed, I swear I let out the loudest scream, while Ananya recorded the video, and then when her turn came, I also did the same for her.

It was such a beautiful experience, I was already falling in love with this place, I dint feel like leaving at all, I wish I could stay here forever, I mean how beautiful would that be right?

The last place we visited for the day was the tegalalang rice terrace, it was a beautiful green landscape, all you could see was greenery everywhere.

Once we arrived there, Ananya and I literally lied down on the ground, of course the tour was fun, but it was kind of tiring too.

The both of us lied down as we looked at the beautiful sky and took in a few deep breaths to relax before we explored the place.

"I'm so glad we decided to come for this trip." Ananya said.

"I know right, I mean it's so relaxing and each and every place here is so beautiful, I can't get enough of it. Now I want to stay here." I giggled.

"Me too, let's shift, and come live in a place where no one knows us, I mean what a great idea." She laughed.

"I really wish we could." I smiled.

We both stayed silent for a while, just lying down and relaxing, once we felt relaxed, we explored the place, took some more pictures and then we headed back to the hotel by evening.

I decided to take a shower once we were back in the hotel. It had been a tiring day, of course fun and beautiful too so I knew a shower would help me relax, Ananya dint want to take one so she just decided to lie down on the bed and relax while I took the shower.

Once I was done with my shower, I walked out and found her busy on her phone.

"You won't believe this, my Instagram is totally flooded with likes and comments. This is making me so happy." He said excitedly, I just smiled as I got dressed and then lied down beside her.

"Let's see how many likes and comments you've got, open your Instagram." She said as she handed me my phone, I unlocked it and checked the notifications, just like her, mine too was flooded with likes and comments.

I mean we both were models so it was obvious we had a lot of followers too, and my inbox always had lots of unread messages too.

While Ananya got busy texting people and telling them how much fun she was having, I decided to check my inbox and clear the messages.

The text that was on the top left me quite surprised, it was from Arnav and now I was suddenly nervous to open it and even read it.

But obviously I was curious too, so I just opened it wanting to know what he had to say. He had shared my own picture in my inbox with a few emoji's followed by his messages.

'Looks like you are having a lot of fun'

'And you look gorgeous as always, can't stop admiring your pictures.'

'Anyway I hope you have a lot of fun on the trip.'

And that was his last message, I was left quite surprised though, after the way things were between us, I wasn't expecting him to be this nice to me, honestly, I dint even know what to make out of the texts he had sent, neither did I know what to reply so I just left them on read.

I still couldn't forget how he talked to me that day, he couldn't just start being nice to me like this suddenly and expect me to forget about it.

He was the one that told me we will talk about the kiss and when we had to, he made up some stupid stories, I was pissed as hell.
