"Wake up angel, we've got a busy day." Miles soft words rang in my ears as I awoke from my slumber. I opened my eyes to see him fully dressed in a tight-fitted black shirt with cargo shorts. "Before I get out of this bed, can you please tell me where we're going?" He looked at me with a sly grin on his face, "It's a surprise love, now please get up."

I stretched out of bed and walked past him to find some clothes in the humongous closet of his, just to find it empty. "I'll put your clothes on the bed while your getting ready." I walked into the bathroom and turned on the shower and stepped in. The warm water felt amazing to my skin. It's as if all my bad thoughts and troubles were drained away.

I enter the room and find a blue compression shirt and a pair of black shorts, accompanied by a note.
Dear Daniel,
When you're ready, feel free to some downstairs and ask a maid for something to eat. The butler will lead you from there.

Is he taking me back home? Many thoughts raced through my head as I walked downstairs past the maids. "Excuse me, do you know where Miles is?" "Master Capriotti shall see you in the garage." I follow the butler into a room with a variety of cars, mostly expensive. I hear the door close behind me and Miles footsteps filled the room. "As you know, we're going out today and I've decided to let you pick which car you'd like to take?" I hesitantly responded and looked around the big room. "The 1994 Jeep Wrangler in the corner." He looked at me with shock, "Out of all of these cars, you chose the Jeep?" A smile came across my face as I walked towards the vehicle. "Yep."

As I paced ahead of him to open his door, I noticed the glee on Daniels face as he looked intensely at the well preserved vehicle. I opened the door for him and hopped in on the other side. "What's on your mind love?" He broke his focus on the cars interior and looked out of the window. He replied with a blatant "nothing." We drive through some dirt roads and rough terrain until we get to the place.

"C'mon, your surprise awaits," I said as I was getting out of the Jeep. I looked over and his jaw had dropped, "Miles, this is beautiful. The house, the lake, I mean-" I cut him off with a peck to the cheek. "This isn't it yet love. Follow me."

I lead him into the small house and the sound of a restless puppy echoed throughout. As we turn the corner, a Labrador puppy jumps on Daniel and he scoops it up. "Miles, can I keep him?" I smiled at the look in his eyes, "This whole patch of land is yours, of course you can." Tears began to form in his eyes. "I'm so sorry for getting angry at you and yelling at you yesterday. I should've never approached you in that way, so if you ever feel like that again, this is your little hideout. And that's your Jeep."

He put the puppy down and walked towards me. I leaned in for a hug but to my surprise, he gave me a kiss. "Thank you Miles." I kissed him back even deeper. " Baby, you deserve the world." I walked him to the patio and we enjoyed each other's company until the sun became the stars.
