My background thingy was acting up, so I couldn't use one.

Of course, that "somewhere safer" meant the lab. But luckily, the Al-Beast was gone. And Sans was begging to see Papyrus.
"Maybe he's changed," Sans declared. "Maybe he hasn't," Aurora answered. The wolf female had hoisted Sans over her shoulder as if he were a sack of potatoes, which he probably was. The small skeleton hadn't been talking much when they entered Hotland. But once they got even near the lab, he tried to get out of Aurora's grip. Sometimes he threatened to use his teleportation, but Aurora reminded him that she would just teleport with him. Then the skeleton was quiet again.
"Well, Sora... Do you have any idea of where to go?" Aurora asked the small dragon. Sora thought for a while then shook her head. Aurora sighed, "Then to the lab we go." Aurora knew how idiotic this idea was, but at least they didn't have to worry about Alphys. When the entered, Aurora noticed how more damaged it looked. Most of the floor tiles had been taken from their places and stuck to the wall or thrown at the furniture. The large TV screen was now broken in half, unusable and unfixable. Claw marks littered the walls, and some parts of the walls were broken off.
The escalators that led to the higher floor were ripped from their places, so getting to the top floor was now impossible. One of the amalgamates, the bird-like one, was lying on the lab floor. Its head now had four legs and was fighting to escape from its body. Aurora shuddered. When she checked the elevator, the wires supporting it had been cut. The elevator was nothing but rubble now. Video cameras littered the lab, some on, some off, but most broken and/or ripped into pieces.
Sora tightened her grip around Aurora's dragon-like tail. Then the dragon whispered to her, "Aurora reminds Sora of Dutchie." Aurora was confused for a minute, then realized what she meant. I remind her of a Dutch Angel Dragon? How strange... I don't seem to relate to one. Sora sent a Gaster Blaster to the amalgamate, killing it. Just in case, Aurora knew. There was a small but loud panting sound, then a pained roar. Sans gasped, "Paps?" He tried to fidget away. Quickly, Aurora made sure Sora was still holding onto her, and then Sans teleported. It felt so... weird. To just be somewhere one second and then somewhere else the next second.
The pained roar was louder. Sans managed to get away from Aurora during the teleportation and was running towards the beds. Aurora picked up Sora and followed, dodging any obstacles that were in their way. Once they got to the beds, the pained roar was more ferocious. The Papyrus-Beast seemed to be bigger, with cracks on his eye socket. A splintering crack went up on his right eye, and down on his left. His orange eyes flared brighter, the flames bigger. There were more spikes on his tail now, and a heart-shaped tail-tip.
Papyrus hissed at them, ready to pretty much kill his own brother. Sans was smart enough not to hold out his remaining arm, but Papyrus was smart enough to know that he needed it. Before Papyrus attacked, his eye sockets turned blank. Then a red light shone in them. Papyrus smiled, "Well, well, well. What do we have here? My three least favorite people! Oh, Sansy! Why haven't you changed yet? Well, I can make it go... faster!" Sans fell onto his knees, clenching his teeth. Aurora saw the spikes forming.
"Leave him alone!" Aurora yelled, "Why don't you take me!? I actually did something wrong!" Papyrus looked at Aurora and scoffed, "It's more fun when you're hurting innocent people. Plus, for some reason, you and Sora are immune. But we'll change that." Sora ran towards Sans, who was trembling rapidly. The spikes had ripped through the fabric of his jacket, but nothing else changed besides that and Sans' new three horns. Papyrus used his tail and swiped Sora away from Sans, causing her to crash into the wall. The red light in his sockets faded, and orange flames returned. Papyrus roared, now unable to talk.
Aurora helped Sora up, who was now passed out. Awh, come on! Aurora thought. Then she turned to Sans. Papyrus had leaned in closer, holding down Sans. "Hey! Leave him alone!" Aurora screamed, stepping towards Papyrus. The skeleton beast looked at her, hissing, "Sssssanssss issssss mihhhne...." Aurora didn't wait. "I said LEAVE HIM ALONE!" She yelled, and something attacked Papyrus. It hit him right in the neck, causing the skeleton to crumble onto the ground as the Undyne-Beast did.
"Papyrus!" Sans yelled, not bothered that his own brother had tried to kill him, pretty much. Papyrus made a whimpering noise. A faint noise. Then the strange voice against Undyne came back, "Hello again, Aurora." Aurora noticed something. This voice was female. And it was behind her. Aurora turned and gasped.
"What? Never seen a Dutchie before?" the strange thing behind her asked. It was shaped like Sora but in a strange shadow-like form. It was clearly taller, of course. The shadow examined Aurora as if she were the most interesting thing it had seen. Then the shadow laughed, "I'm Garnet, by th' way, Aurora. You probs nevah met m', but I've met ya. And'a don't worry, Aurora. I don't talk like 'dis the entire time. Just in ma shadow forme." Then the shadow disappeared.
"Sora..." Sora whimpered, unable to speak full sentences yet, "Sora.... hurted..." Aurora let out a sigh of relief. "Sans, come on. We're going to the Core." Sans looked at Papyrus then at Aurora and nodded, "Let's go."
