(Y/N) POV

"I remember the white man...or my brother, telling me something about Salem," I say as Indigo nods

"Yes I do too...he also mentioned Ozma...could that be another name for Ozpin?" She asks me

"I mean...it could be," I mutter

"Any clue where we could find Salem?" I ask as everyone shrugs.

"Starting from scratch again then," I mutter as my eyes land on Oscar.

He wasn't paying attention to the discussion...he was somewhere else.

"Oscar...any ideas?" I ask as he awakes

"What?" He asks

"Any ideas as to where we can find Salem?" I ask as he shrugs.

"Thinking of it...I remember Ozpin mentioning Salem when I overheard him saying something about Kelly," Indigo adds.

"Right...Mom said she was on a mission for Ozpin," Neo tells us.

"So...you think Kelly knows?" I ask as Indigo nods.

"I mean...it's our only shot...none of us know who Salem even is," She adds

"Good point," I say as I look at Neo.

"I guess we are going back to Beacon," I mutter.

"Can I come too?" A voice says...it was mother.

"I've always wanted to find your brother...and now that you're here...I don't want to leave you again...or I don't you to leave me again," she says as I struggle to maintain eye contact.

"N---" I begin

"Of course you can!" Neo says with a smile.

I look at her with a confused look.

I know what I'm doing

"Ok," I mutter as I'm about to leave

"Where are you going?" David asks

"We are going back to Beacon right?" I ask as Indigo looks at me weird

"What?" I ask

"We just flew for a couple of hours...I wanna rest," Indigo says as I look at Neo for support.

"I'm tired too, I wouldn't mind resting here for the night," Neo says...you betrayed me.

"I guess," I mutter as Mom smiles.

"If that's the case, I'll get us something to eat," she says leaving us alone.

I sat on the couch and put my head in my hands.

"It's a lot to take in," Neo says sitting beside me

"Tell me about it," I say laughing to ease my headache.

"Come on, let's leave them alone," Indigo says as the other three teens leave the room.

"What I learned today," I start sarcastically.

"I learned my Mother didn't actually hate me...instead she was manipulated by the man who tried to kill me a couple of years later,"

"Then I learn, I actually didn't put my father into prison, and he is dead,"

"And then I learn that I have a brother who was kidnapped by a person I've never even heard of!" I say as Neo listens to me.

"Busy day," she jokes as I nod

"Yeah, something like that," I mutter as she hugs me.

I gladly returned the hug as I melted into her arms.

She smelled just like vanilla ice cream...wait does vanilla ice cream even have a smell? Ok, maybe she smelled like normal vanilla then.

"It's been a long journey you and I," She whispers into my ears.

"Yeah," I laugh as I remember.

Two homeless kids beating the odds.

Now, we've reunited with our parents.

Indigo POV

Who is Salem!

I can't figure it out.

No matter where I search...I can't find a single thing on the name.

I really hope Kelly can help us out...because if not...I'm out of ideas.

I'm walking around the small town to get some fresh air.

I know my stress is nothing compared to (Y/N)s...but man is this stressful.

The world is at stake

Everyone's life depends on this...and for some reason, (Y/N) is at the centre of it all.

Are his mind-reading abilities really that significant in the future?

I stopped and sat on a bench as I brainstormed.

"Your gonna hurt your brain if you continue," Oscar says as he sits beside me.

"I've yet to do it," I point out as he laughs a little.

"Maybe...but it'll happen. Don't push yourself too hard," he says

"Noted," I mutter.

"It's pretty out here," he says changing the subject.

"It's not bad...I'm surprised the Grimm aren't a threat here,"

"With nature and a girl this beautiful...I don't see how they can be attracted to the fear," he says looking at me.

I blush a little as he realizes what he said.

"Sorry, it slipped out, I didn't mean anything by it," he says as his face is flushed with red.

I giggle a little.

"It's fine...thank you," I say looking at him.

Maybe he isn't like the rest of the guys like I thought he was

David POV

"What's for dinner?" I ask

"I'm making sandwiches...sorry if you expected something fancier...I wasn't expecting guests," (Y/N)s mother says

"It's fine, better than nothing," I say as she nods.

"(Y/N) and that multi-coloured hair girl...Neo, I think you guys said her name was...are they close?" She asks

"They are joined at the hip ma'am," I joke as she nods

"No need to be so formal, you can call me Jamie," she says as I nod

"She seemed protective of him...I like her," Jamie says

"You'd never have known she was mute up till a couple of weeks ago," I say as she looks at me

"You kidding," Jamie asks

"I'm not. That's how they got such an amazing connection...(Y/N) was the only one who could understand her...because, well he could hear what she said without her actually saying it," I tell her

"Wow," she mutters

"They look cute together," she says
