(Y/N) POV

The rebar clung and clucked as it was dragged against the ground...I didn't bother lifting it all the way...I didn't want to waste my energy on such a thing

Cinders pained expression from having her arm amputated was shadowed by her face of fear as she watched me slowly walk toward her

"You will pay...you will pay...it's your time to pay" I repeat in my head

"Get out of my head!" She yells insanely as her eyes widen in fear.

This man...he scares me even more than Salem

I finally lifted the bar when I reach her.

Her eyes were shaking as she was face to face with someone out for revenge.

"Please...spare me!" She yells

"What about the girl you put into the hospital, huh?" I scream at her at max volume

"All she does is eat ice cream, and snuggle with her plushies in bed! She didn't do anything wrong," I scream

"Yet...she's in that bed, in a coma that she can't wake up from! It should be you!" I yell as I bring the bar down.

It struck her leg as she screams in pain

"Owwwwww!" She yells as it echos against the containers. Her eyes tear up as water starts flowing down her face

I raised the bar and brought it down another time.

This one struck her arm as it snaps and rests at an unnatural angle.

"Please stop! I'm sorry! I'm sorry! I didn't know Roman would do that! Please! It wasn't me who did it! Please stop! Please!" She pleads as the bar smashes against her side

She screams in horror as she coughs up blood.

Her face was pained, wet from all the sobbing she was doing, and scared...she was scared for her life...as she should be

I raised the bar again and aimed for her head...ill end her right here

"I don't wanna die! I don't wanna...I promise I'll be a good girl! Please stop! Please!" She cries as I hesitant

"Please!" She bails as red fills my vision

Neo! I want her back! I want Neo right now!

I start swinging the bar down to end her life

"Stop!" A voice erupts...it wasn't Cinders.

I barely missed her head as the rebar cracks the pavement beside her head.

I looked to see who yelled and I dropped the bar as soon as I saw her.

About 200 meters away stood a person with multi-coloured hair...it was pink, white and brown...Neo!

"Neo!" I call out as the person looked at me.

I didn't wait, I started sprinting toward her as tears filled my vision...Neo's awake...she's here!

I got closer and closer.

The person just stood there...on guard.

I slowed my pace...wouldn't Neo run to me?

And her voice...That person talked...did Katharine fix Neos voice...did it work?

My questions were answered as I walked closer.

"Your not Neo," I say as I come to a stop.

I didn't see until I got closer...this person is a lot older than Neo.

"What are you doing young man?" She asks a little shaken.

"Your not Neo," I repeat

"No I'm not...who's Neo?" She asks

"Neopolitan...she's my friend," I say as the woman's eyes widen.

"Did you just say Neopolitan?" She asks as I nod

"Yea," I mutter sadly as the woman approaches me and grabs my shoulders

"Where is she! I need to know!" The woman says

"Why should I tell you?" I ask

"I'm her mother!" She says as her eyes are mixed with emotions.

I studied the older woman...from my time in Neo's memory.., I didn't get any glimpses of her mother...but I didn't need her to say she's Neos mother...their appearances are just too similar

"Neo...she's," I start as I realize Neo didn't actually wake up...she's still asleep.

I tear up as anger once again grips my mind.

I spin around and start charging toward Cinder

"Hey! Young man stop it!" Neo's mother calls from behind me.

I kept running as I heard the older woman's protests...eventually, I ran out of the anger I had in me and I stopped just before the Injured girl

"My God, we need to help her," Neo's mother says as she rushes to attend Cinder

"Don't waste the effort," I mutter she eyes me suspiciously

"Why?" She asks

"She's the one who put your daughter into a coma that she can't wake up from," I tell her as her eyes widen

"Neo...is she alright?" The mother asks as she grabs on to me.

"See for yourself...she's at the hospital," I say as the mother hesitates what to do.

What she did next surprised me.

She spins away from me and helps Cinder

"It's gonna be ok," she says as she presses against Cinders open wound where her arm used to be

"Call someone, she needs help!" She says as my eyes widen.

"She hurt your daughter," I tell her

"I know," she mutters

"And you're still helping her," I say as she nods

"I've learned a lot of things...and one of those things is helping the people around you despite your personal feelings," she says as all the rage I had disappeared.

I looked at the sight I had caused.

Mercury was on the ground with his eyes open in shock as he just watched his boss almost get beaten to death...and Emerald laid motionless.

And at the centre...was a bloody mess.

I called for help and people showed up to care for Cinder, I assume they took her to the nearest hospital.

Once they disappeared, Neo's mother looked at me

"I guess I should introduce myself," she says as I study her...Neo looks just like her.

"My name is Kelly," she says with a smile.

"(Y/N)," I mutter

"Can you..lead me to the hospital she is at?" Kelly asks me.

"Yea...I can," I mutter
