Epilogue (End)

(Y/N) POV

"So Ozpin, what's next?" I ask Oscar as he looks at me

"Ozpin...is gone," Oscar says

"What do you mean?" I ask

"I don't feel him inside my head anymore," Oscar says as everyone looks at him.

"Maybe Ozpin disappeared when Salem did?" I ask as he nods

"I think so...his only reason to keep going was Salem...maybe when she died, whatever was keeping him alive went as well," Oscar says.

"So...we don't need to deal with Ozpin anymore?" Indigo asks.

"No...I don't think so," Oscar says as I notice a small smile curl in Indigo's lips

I look into her eyes to see what's she's thinking

But I get nothing.

I funnel my brow as I look at David and try the same thing...nothing.

"What's wrong?" Neo asks.

"It's nothing," I say as I look around

"Let's go home,"

2 weeks later

It's confirmed...I've lost my mind reading semblance.

I tried to read the minds of everyone I've encountered...it doesn't work.

I've hidden it from the others for now.

I don't know what happened.

Maybe I pushed the limits when I did it to Salem.

I lay in bed in the darkness.

There's no reason to become a huntsman now...I've saved the world.

"Are you sure your alright?" Neo asks from her bed

"I've told you a million times...I'm fine," I say

"Ok, tell me with your mind then," she asks as I go silent

"Ok...maybe I haven't been telling the truth," I admit.

"Now we are going somewhere," she says.

"I can't mind read anymore," I tell her

"Your joking," she laughs

"I haven't since my encounter with Salem," I say as Neo stops

"Your serious?" She asks shocked.

"Yeah...I'm not joking," I say as she gets off her bed and comes to mine.

"Are you ok?" She asks

"Yeah, I'm fine...just it's weird," I mutter

"It doesn't change who you are," Neo says

"Mind reader or not...your (Y/N)," she says

"And I love you," she finishes

"I love you too," I say as we share a kiss.

We are safe.

Neo is safe and we have a bright future ahead.

Epilogue

Everyone's happy.

The world has been purged of Grimm.

"Uncle!" A bunny-eared boy that looks like David sprints to me

"What's up?" I ask him as he stops just in time to avoid hitting me.

"Mom and Dad are kissing again!" He says with a disgusted face.

I chuckle at his reaction.

"You said you wanted a baby sister right?" I ask him as he nods eagerly

"That's how babies are made," I say sneaking a peek at David and Velvet flirting with each other.

"Wait...really?" He asks surprised.

"No," I say as he looks at me funny

"So your joking?" He asks

"I don't know," I say as he rolls his eyes

"I'll ask Aunty," he says running into my house.

"Your corrupting his brain," Indigo says

"No, I ain't," I say as she looks at me doubtfully.

"You so are," she says.

"I think he is just having fun," Oscar says as he wraps his arms around Indigos belly.

Oscar grew a lot since we met him...He's taller than me now.

"How's the junior doing?" I ask looking at Indigo's abnormally big stomach.

"Due sometime next week," she says as I nod

"God...can't wait to see what type of trouble your kid gets into," I mutter as she blushes

"I'm sure they won't get into any trouble at all," she says as I look at her.

"You literally...Never mind," I say as she smiles and walks away.

As I said, everyone is happy.

We are all gathering at my house for a birthday party.

Mom and Carter are chatting with Kelly.

Carter took a long time to adjust to reality.

After Salem disappeared, his future self also followed suit just like Ozpin did with Oscar.

I know how weird it is to get used to something disappearing in your head.

I walk into the kitchen and Neo is making lunch.

"The birthday girl is gonna be happy," I say as my beautiful wife turns around.

"Yeah...I imagine she will be," Neo says as she tugs my shirt closer so she can kiss me.

"Where is she anyway?" I ask

"Upstairs sleeping...she was pretty tired after the training yesterday," Neo says

"Yep...it'll do that," I say as I leave the kitchen and go to a bedroom.

The bedroom of my daughter.

"Knock, knock," I mutter opening the door.

A girl, with Neo's hair and my eyes, was sleeping in the bed.

"Violet, time to wake up...everyone is here," I whisper as I shake her.

"Dad...let me sleep," she mutters

"Don't make me tickle you," I whisper as her body shivers...it's weird but it sure as hell wakes her up.

"I'm up!" She says looking around

"Man...yesterday was tiring," she says looking at me

"Learning to read minds isn't easy," I say as I nod

Violet has my semblance...pretty much a copy of mine.

I remember the lessons that my own father gave me and I try to teach her the same way.

"Your how old today?" I ask her

"I'm 8," she points out as I smile.

You'd never guess she was 8. Mind reading helps you grow up fast.

It matures you quick

I pass the torch on.

Whatever issues may appear in the future

There will be a Mind Reader to help.
