Madison's POV
"Hey, hey you over there." I hear a voice call to me. I turn around to see a little boy around my age standing behind me. "Hey your name is Madison right?" he asked, "yeah why" I asked nervously. "Did you know we have the same last name, isn't that cool." he says excitedly with a really big smile. "How do you know my name?" I ask kind of scared. "I'm in your class, my names Michael Jackson it's nice to meet you Madison Jackson." he says putting his hand out for me to shake it. I take his hand, shaking it with a big smile on my face.

"Nice to meet you to." we let go of each other's hands. "How old are you?" he ask "I'm 6 turning 7 next week, what about you." I say, then his face lit up as he gasp and covers his mouth.

"What is it." I giggle, then he said "I'm 6 turning 7 next week to, it is so cool. Ok let's both say our birthdays on the count of three ready 1...2...3" "August 29" we both say at the same time, then look at each other faces shocked and amazed at the same time. "OH MY GOSH THIS IS SO COOOOLLL." he said jumping up and down "I KNOW RIGHT. Ok from now on we're gonna be best friends forever." I say giving Michael a high five.

"Hey we should give each other nicknames." he said "yeah that's a good idea, umm how about I call you... Applehead" I say excidedly "why applehead?" he asked "because your head looks like an Apple." I say laughing "Does not." he says playfully trying not to laugh "Does too" I say back playfuly, causing us to both busy out in laughter. "Ok fine you can call me applehead of i get to call you coco puff" he said pointing to my hair that was in a puff ball.

"Ok, hey applehead, wanna play tag?" I ask "yeah alright, your it coco pu-" before he could finish his sentence I tagged him "tag your it applehead." I say running away laughing "I'm gonna get you coco puff" he yells laughing and starts chasing me. I turn my head around still laughing and sees him chasing me laughing. Then his face changes from happy to worried as he screams my name reaching out to me "MADISON" his soft voice fades away fast.

I open my eyes to see I'm being shaken awake by Michael. "Hey coco puff are you ok." he says still shaking me. I blink a couple times and look around to see I'm in a classroom full of people talking with no teacher in sight. I look at Michael and see the worry in his face. "Are you ok?" he ask

"yeah I guess I just spaced out." I said. He giggles and says "It's only the first day of 10th grade and your already spacing out."he said laughing at me. I hit his arm "shut up" I said laughing. Then the bell rings and the teacher walks in and says "Good morning class, welcome to the first day of your sophmore year in high school."
