•Randy's Pov•

I came to school earlier today than expected,well I don't want to be late like what happened last time again or accidents might happen again.Especially the bumping incidents like what happened yesterday

I was already done with all the things I need to do and got myself cleaned and stuff.After that I packed my things and was ready to head home while walking in the hallway I was reading my book and I didn't noticed where I was going until I bumped into someone

"Ouch"This came out from my mouth I whined and looked up who I bumped into and it was him again

"Oh I'm so sorry I didn't see you there"He said to me and looked a bit shocked u guess he didn't expect me

"Oh sorry I didn't see you there too"I said and laughed a little

"We seriously need to stop bumping with each other"He said giggling and I felt myself heat up

"Yeah"I said looking down he stood up and offered a hand Of course I took it

"Thanks"I said

"No prob,well see you around"He said smiling and waved goodbye

Yeah...I don't want any of those incidents happening again,I don't know if I can get used to it but I guess I'm getting used to it considering it happens really often and all the time,Also I've been growing close with Nomi its really fun to be with him but I don't know what others would think if they saw me the school nerd,the teachers pet hanging around with a cool and awesome popular jock in top rank and don't forget smart like Nomi...I was too deep in thought and I didn't realize that Howard was talking to me

"Hey Randy!!Are you listening?!?"He asked and from the look of his face he was a bit angry I guess

"Sorry what was that?"I asked him

"I said!Halloween is coming up hello!"He said,oh right Halloween !!I love Halloween!But without all the trouble like last time, will there be trouble anymore? Ugh, unwanted memories remembering....

"Hey Randy you alright? "I heard someone said followed by a chuckle and from that voice I knew right away

"N-Nomi..? I-I... Uh.. Yeah.. It's just"I stuttered with each word feeling myself heat up and my heart racing rapidly what is this feeling? Why can't I just say it, Howard took a notice of me blushing and smirked well I know I'm gonna hear about this later

"What is it? "He asked leaning closer as I leaned away when did he get here anyways?

"Uhm.. We we're just talking a-about Halloween t-thats all! "I managed to said under pressure with curiosity in his eyes looking straight at me

"But something about it made you seem uncomfortable "He said and I can't lie he was right about that

"Uhm.. w-well it's.. Just m-my past.. "I blurted out not meeting eye contact as I can feel that he moved away and then I felt someone take a seat next to me and leaned closer

"Why? What happened? If you don't mind"he asked me as I looked over at him and to Howard asking if I should as he gave me the 'not my choice' face, what a helpful friend really..

"W-well... Uhm.. Every time there would be Halloween we put on costumes right? But every time I do and go to the school Halloween fest Bash would always try to ruin it for me like.. Well make fun of me and my costume sabotage what I wear like painting things on it like saying stupid.. And I just d-dont want to go through any of that anymore.. "I said looking down and when I looked up I saw his eyes we're furious and was dead serious

"U-uh.. Nomi? "I asked nervously sweat dropping

"He did all of that?! "He asked furiously which made me startled and even Howard did too and his voice was loud enough to get everyone's attention

"U-uh.. Yeah but it's no big deal I'm not coming this year so it's no problem really"I said to him faking a smile as I heard Howard whispered

"Wow dude he really is mad right now overprotective much? "I felt my self redden once again at that thought I mean it's just because we became friends right nothing else! Haha yeah that's right

"It's just because we're friends haha"I said laughing nervously

"I know he wouldn't get mad like that if it was his other friends or me"Howard said smirking making me think that maybe.. No! Haha I'm not that special and I'm just a nerd and his a jock like water and oil we're different complete opposite his popular and I'm not

"Hey Randy "I heard him said as I looked at him

"Y-yeah? "I asked

"Don't worry this year would be different trust me"he said in a very gentle voice that reassured me that this year will be okay

"Hey Nomi! Come on let's go it's morning practice! "Someone yelled which got our attention and we glanced it was Danny one of Nomi's friends

"Okay! Hey Randy I gotta go alright! See you later! "He said smiling at me and I think this Halloween will be different no.. This year will be different I said with a smile on my face and then when I looked at Howard he was grinning at me I knew it...

"So Randy~what was that about? "He asked me as I blushed furiously.. Ugh I'm not getting used with all the blushing I can just feel myself melting

"It's.. I. W-well.. U-uh.. It's n-not.. What you think! Anyways... "I cant even complete my sentence! What was I even going to say to him?!

"So~in short you like Nomi? "He asked... Like? Is that the word im looking for b-but just thinking about it made me look like a complete tomato curse you Howard!

"It isn't like that you know!!! What the juice man?! "I yelled at him causing his grin to get wider like the cat in wonderland

"Okay if you say so! "He said shrugging it off and I know whats still on his mind I know I'm off the hook.. For now how am I even friends with him to begin with?!

•Nomi's POV•

I went on ahead after my friend Danny called me leaving Randy behind and went of to practice, but I can't stop thinking about why am I so upset about maybe it's because of the fact that I was worried about randy and furious when he said the thing about him getting bullied by bash each year I felt really bad for him and I know I'm against bullying so I will make sure to keep him safe because I mean he can't protect himself but something about him makes me curious was it him? Is it I mean Howard knowing the ninja is good enough info but could it be another one else? Probably I need more evidence to prove it but is it allowed for me to know

Maybe I guess I mean they just dong need to know who is am right? I was so drowned in my thoughts and was still furious and will maybe consult Bash about this.. Ugh his annoying as hell... I'm definitely against him not just because of his bullying to Randy and everyone but his also Mcfist's son and as the Ninja Nomicon I need to help the ninja wipe out evil, and help the citizens of norrisville

"I'll..assure his safety I'll make sure of it... Bash is dead"I mumbled that's was inaudible to anyone and maybe there was something above my head as well that people don't see that shows how mad I was why do I feel like this?

"Oh yeah!! That's right! That's Bash!! "I heard Bash yelled in victory as he scored another goal at the field ugh... Hearing his voice is annoying enough and it ticks me off as he did a victory dance

"Hey man you seemed really frustrated something on your mind? "My friend Ricardo asked me looking at me worriedly

"Oh no yeah it's fine dude"I said faking a smile to assure him that I wasn't bothered or troubled at all but I know that he can see right through me I mean he is smart kinda annoying too but his like a detective that nothing gets past him, it's hard to get a compliment from me I know but he surely is outstanding

"Come on man we know that your bothered just tell me, plus I'm the captain of the team I can't let my members get troubled like that"he said well he is the captain so it does make a point

"Still sharp as ever"I said as I chuckled

"I know now just spill it man"he said as I looked up at him

"Well you know Randy right? Well I'm feeling bad for him, not just because his being bullied by Bash but also he can't have a decent Halloween because of bash, he did awful things to ruin his Halloween like embarrassing him"I said to him in a very cold with a hint of worried tone on each word I make

"Oh that that's awful and I know that it hits you the most since you hate bullying, also Ive noticed you two are getting close to each other"He said smirking at me I gotta admit I feel like heating up right now as I felt my heart was bouncing out of my chest but I know I can't feel this way to him nor to anyone I can't.. Love

"Oh yeah? "I asked him as if I was oblivious to what he really meant if it was

"Yeah you two are always together like on the cafeteria and bumps to each other a lot"He said to me well I do admit it and it feels nice to be with him too like Ive known him for so long even though u know Ive only took a complete notice at him this school year

"Yeah its kind of nice to be around him"I answered back with a real smile this one though I don't really feel comfortable with Howard around I mean his just annoying as my friends less clingy though ugh.. When sometimes I just want a break from all of this especially the girls that are always blocking my way that I don't even get why is the big deal, I think it's just about my looks and because I'm popular tsk I just noticed everyone is simply irritating but oh well there's still something nice in this school I chuckled to myself as I thought of him nothing wrong about that right?
