Author's POV
"Yes! I did it!" Jungkook threw his hands in the air as he won another match in his online gameplay.
He decided to end his gaming here for today and kept all his gaming equipments neatly and then checked the time. Once he saw the time, he sighed as it showed past five in the evening and there was no sign of his dorm mate. He had been playing for the past two hours to kill time as he waited for him but he was growing impatient of how long he was taking to reach the dorm.
There was never a day when his dorm mate was late in reaching their dorm. But today, it was different. He took more than an hour to reach and Jungkook was getting more and more worried as the time flew by.
By now, Jungkook had decided to go by himself to see if anything was wrong at school and let the suspense be answered. So he put on his timberland shoes and rushed to the main door, only to get hit by the door and stumbling a few steps back.
"Jungkook-ah!" His dorm mate immediately shut the door behind him and went to check on him. "I'm sorry! I took too much time to reach here!" His voice was laced with worry as he examined the place Jungkook got hit at.
"Its okay Jimin hyung, I was a bit worried about you so I thought of checking up on you but you reached as soon as I opened the door." He chuckled at the coincidence that happened right now.
Both the boys entered the dorm and sat across each other on the couch as Jungkook's eyes showed the need for the tea to be spilled. On noticing the look Jungkook was giving, Jimin felt uncomfortable thinking if telling the truth would be fine.
"Uh-uhm... I met Young-Hee today..." He trailed wondering what to say next.
"Noona?!" His face lit up in happiness as he smiled ear to ear after hearing the name of the one he truly admired. "What happened after that?!" He continued to question one after another, letting his curiosity take over him.
On the other hand, Jimin's head was filled with a bunch of excuses to make to brush off the topic but knowing that the topic was of her, he knew he would fail in turning the wheel. So he decided to tell how it was.
"I wanted to make things easier for you so I tried to call her to our place but... I ended up being the one to go to her place." He grinned nervously hoping Jungkook wouldn't mind but all he received was a death glare from him.
"Look Kookie, I tried okay... there's nothing to be mad about..." Jimin trailed as he tried his best to keep Jungkook calm.
But the death glare didn't stop.
"Why did you agree on going to her place then?" He shot daggers at him as he questioned him.
"I-uh... it was unexpected! She suddenly turned on her defensive mode and counterattacked me! I didn't know what to do okay?!" Jimin tried his best to make him as the victim of the situation.
"Then talk to her about it tomorrow and tell her you'll be busy that evening so you can't make it! As simple as that!" Jungkook laughed and laid on the couch and giggled like a mad man.
"You okay, Kook?" Jimin was getting nervous at his bipolar behavior.
"Yeah, it's that she's always so unexpected. Just like how she appeared in front of me for the first time and held my hands, taking me out of the puzzle I was stuck in. It was unexpected too." Jungkook had a huge smile on his face as he recalled the memories of when he first met her.

The school campus was like a house of a giant for the tiny, timid me as my doe shaped eyes scanned the school I'll be studying in from today. Drips of sweat rolled down my forehead while my brows were knit together as my face showed sheer perplexion, fear and anxiety of entering the school building. The students of the school who were my seniors, didn't give a thought of helping me even though they saw my confused state who was standing in the middle of the school campus, checking the huge building but having no dare to enter it.
It was when she stepped into my life.
"Hey, you okay?" I heard a soft voice behind me, making me look back and see who it was.
On seeing the person, I found a girl who looked older than me with the brightest smile I had ever seen, playing on her face as her long jet black hair was made into two plaits resting on both of her shoulder as her Boston glasses failed to hide the shine in her eyes.
I was mesmerized by her at the first sight.
"Hey, I'm talking to you." She spoke while waving her hands before my eyes as if she was trying get my attention back.
"Yeah! Uh uhm... I started middle school this year and I'm new and I'm... I'm trying to find my classroom." I spoke hesitantly while looking at the charcoal black eyes behind the glasses which looked at me with complete attention.
"Oh you're a year younger than me! So let's find your classroom! First, we need to get your timetable and your classroom from the principal's office!" She spoke while keeping a hand on her chin and after she was done talking, she held my hand and started walking inside the school.
It was as if she was my savior who appeared in my worst state and saved me before my state could worsen. Her holding my hands was like a shock of electricity rushing through my body which made me feel warm and safe but at the same time, I could feel my heartbeat increasing in an unusual way and my cheeks getting warmer than ever.
"Here we are! Hope your first day at school goes well! You're Jeon Jungkook right? You've got a nice name! I'm Song Young-Hee. I'll meet you at the lunch time then!" She gave her last smile and waved her hands before walking away from me and disappearing into the crowd.

"Wait. You were a kid at that time!" Jimin placed his hand over his mouth in shock.
"Yah! Don't kid me!"
"I'm not kidding you, you were actually a kid at that time! But you have had a crush on her since the start of your middle school and now you're one year behind to enter high school! Time sure runs fast," Jimin said while nodding his head.
"Oh wait. Young-Hee! She used to laugh? And had long hair? Damn she must had been a pretty good sight." Jimin was stunned on hearing this from him.
"What, I'm serious! She even made those cute little plaits and was the sweetest person you would ever meet back then! But she changed after a few months of the start of the session. It was awkward at first but I knew she's the same person I used to know. Also, don't look at my noona in that way!" He glared at Jimin after realising what the boy was trying to say.
"Yeah yeah, I won't. Oh and I guess you got a competitor there. There's this guy named Min Yoongi and they both had a quarrel today. Judging by the way they talked, they probably knew each other for years and are just settling down unresolved things before getting back together. So watch out, he may get in your way." Jimin patted Jungkook's back in an assuring way, leaving Jungkook dumbfounded.
