I walked inside the huge entrance of the school, my tiny feet skipping steps to the staircase as my pigtails swayed everytime I moved my head and a pink colored, kitty faced bag hung from my back.

"Hey Young-Hee!" A voice called me from beside.

I turned to the side to see Sun-Hee standing with her friend with a bright smile.

"Good morning Sun-Hee!" I greeted her with the same energy in me.

"Are you prepared for the test today?" She asked me and I nodded vigorously before excusing myself and going upstairs to my locker.

"Good morning Young-Hee!" A voice greeted me and I turned to see Marie wishing me with a bright smile on her face. I greeted her back with a big smile on my face as well and reached my locker.

My eyes looked at the towering locker as I looked at my locker which was beyond my small height. Someone always had to reach it for me and I never thought of changing my locker. I looked at the locker with my bag now resting in my hands. I turned around to ask someone to call for help when someone snatched the bag from my hands.

"Hey!" I yelled as I looked up to find Yoongi standing in front of me with a mischievous grin plastered on his face and my bag now dangling in his hands.

"Give me my bag Yoongi! This isn't funny!" I insisted with my tiny voice as I jumped to get my bag from his hands.

"Not gonna happen, shorty." He grinned as he stuck out his tongue to tease me. My brows knit together at his jerk attitude. Students had gathered around us to see what the ruckus was about. Everyone's curious look changed to a worried one as they saw the two of us in one place and their face showed the expression 'oh-oh'.

Yoongi didn't care a bit of what he was doing as he bopped my round glasses. I backed off a little at his force and I was slowly losing my 'happy attitude' from the morning.

"I told you to give it back!" I growled as I swiftly lifted my leg, kicking his legs from behind. He stumbled forward at my swift kick and was not able to balance his body as he face planted on the ground. I laughed and walked up to him, bending to his level and took my bag from his grip. Dusting the dust off my bag, I turned to walk out from the crowd in pride before I saw Miss Daisy, our math teacher, standing in front of the crowd with her hands folded on her chest.

Oh oh.

"You two, principal's office! Now!"

We both stood in the principal's office with our hands on the back and head facing downwards.

"So, this all started with the locker..." She trailed as she nodded to herself, removing the hand which was resting on her chin a while ago.

"I'll be changing your locker, Young-Hee. You won't have any trouble with it from now." She told me with her soft gaze on me. "And you, Min Yoongi, I'm leaving you only because you are quite young to be put in detention. You both are still in elementary school and you need to behave yourselves. The whole school knows you and your families are not in good terms yet you're still lingering around her and trying to bully her. I'll not pity you next time," She told him sternly. "Now you both may leave." She told us and we both went out of the principal's office.

"See you next time, Kitty." I smirked as I joined my friends who were outside the office and left him standing there with his jaw clenched in frustration.

"Have a good day, Young-Hee," Hana said as we got out of the classroom.

I walked down the staircase with a smile on my face until I passed through the music room. I stopped in my tracks and backed to the music room's open door. The room was empty, with only a student, not older than me, sitting on the piano bench and had his head laid back as he continued to run his fingers on the piano keys skilfully. The music which he played was so pleasant to my ears that my legs led me inside the room without thinking for once. His face was not visible as he had his face facing the wall but I could see his side profile.

At that moment, I fell in love with two things, his piano play and him.

I was so lost in his music that I didn't notice that my footsteps entering the room had disturbed him. Once he figured out that someone entered the music room, he stopped moving his fingers on the keys, making the music stop and bringing me back to the reality. I saw him opening his eyes which were once closed and turned around, allowing me to see his face which I was willing to see for a while.

But I wasn't expecting to see the face of the one I hated the most.

Min Yoongi.

My eyes went wide at the face I saw, my heart beating faster than it should, not knowing what to do.

"What are you doing here, four eyed girl?" He told me as he got down the bench and walked towards me.

I froze in my spot, not able to process what I was thinking about him a while ago. He stopped in front of me as we looked at each other for a while, only the sound of wind passing through the open windows.

After processing what my mind was thinking about him earlier, I managed to go back to my usual self. "T—That goes to you too, kitty." I hated how I stuttered at that moment.

The atmosphere was different from all those times we had encountered each other. None of the situation was as suspenseful as this one because none of us tried to complain about the nicknames we gave each other or start to bicker unlike the usual situations.

"I enjoy it," was the sentence he spoke before turning away and walking towards the wall where his bag laid.

My eyebrows scrunched in confusion on why he didn't start bickering. He passed beside me and walked until he reached the door of the music room.

"Aren't you going to come?" My eyes went wide for the second time at his unusual behaviour. I nodded hesitantly before taking wide steps, trying to reach him before he could walk away.

We both got down the stairs in complete silence but my head was filled with hundreds of thoughts which was loud enough to break the silence. The school was empty by this time and I was relieved that no one will notice us and have doubts.
We walked out of the school with no one daring to speak until he decided to.

"I enjoy playing piano every day after school when all the students have returned to their houses, leaving only me in here. It's peaceful and calming and better than being in the house." He spoke as we made our way to our houses.

We were neighbors, the neighbors who loved to fight. Our families were like that even before we were born. They always compared each other, bragged about the materialistic things they owned, argued with each other and were always at each others' neck. And we learnt this from them. We never once tried to talk to each other like how a normal human should. Ending up in a fight, getting out of the classroom as a punishment and sometimes the teachers left us in a fear of what might happen when our hatred for each other will increase. But who knew the ones who never tried to once talk properly to each other would be walking from their school together.

"Why don't you play piano at home?" I asked him, curiousness hitting inside of me.

"They won't let me." It was as if he didn't want to talk about it so I didn't try to force him to talk it out. I hummed and we continued walking to our houses together as if we never hated each other to the verge of killing one another.

It was the first time I had ever felt comfortable with him, fell in love with his skill in piano. And I was ashamed for the feelings I felt for him.
