A day before...
"Wake up, Yuri!" I yelled as I pulled the sheets out of the bed, making her fall.
"Ow! Young-Hee, watch while you take out the sheets!" She whined as she got up from the floor, rubbing her lower back in pain.
"It's already seven in the morning!" I grumbled.
"I have to wake you up at seven, check. Now I've to give these in the laundry for washing and bring groceries and stationery supplies on my way back home.. and also meet Joon.." I read aloud from my planner.
"It's Sunday today! I wanted to sleep till late in the afternoon! Why don't you date the planners? They'll help you be organized your whole life and maybe even marry them." She rolled her eyes and made her way to the bathroom.
"Gladly!" I replied while packing the sheets and other clothing for the laundry.

I gave the money to the cashier and got out of the departmental store, holding bags in both of my hands. I had brought stationery supplies as our highschool year will be starting from tomorrow. After completing the laundry work and bringing groceries and stationery supplies from the departmental store, I walked to Namjoon's dorm, which was at the side of ours.
"Joonie!" I called out as I pressed the doorbell several times, getting impatient of the waiting I had to do while standing outside the door.
A few minutes later, the door opened, making me sigh in relief. But to my surprise, it wasn't the person I expected him to be.
Turned out it was Hoseok.
"Young-Hee! Long time since we talked!" Hoseok squealed and got closer to me in excitement, ready to crash me with his suffocating hugs.
"No. Stay away from me." I held my hands in the air, defending myself and slowly got inside the dorm with the bags in my hands.
I kept the bags in the living room as I walked further. Walking a few steps inside, I heard a voice. More like a scream.
"Young-Hee!" A voice yelled my name from the kitchen.
I walked to the kitchen with Hoseok following me and found smoke all over the room. I coughed and flapped my hands, clearing the smoke before me and slowly walked inside. I opened the windows for the smoke to go outside. After a while, the smoke cleared and I could see the room clearly. But seeing the view, I was awestruck.
The kitchen was a mess. The oven which stood in front of the doorway had changed to a brownish colour showing something was burned. Batter and mixtures were scattered all over the tile floor while a tall figure stood before me with his shoulders scrunched downwards.
"No wonder why this is the condition of the room." I said, glaring at the guy in front of me. "Now, let's clean this mess." I told both of them as I placed my hands on my hips, taking a look at the messy kitchen.

We trio had now finished cleaning the mess Namjoon did and were sitting in the living room.
"You know you didn't have to cook cinnamon rolls for me. Everytime you cook, something bad happens." I folded my arms and brought it to my chest.
"But they are your favorite. I was trying to make your mood good." Namjoon spoke with his eyes showing gloominess.
"Yeah, but do something else next time. No cooking." I requested and he nodded.
We sat in silence for a while until Hoseok broke it.
"Oh and do you know? Namjoonie's brother and his friend will be moving here tonight!" Hoseok squealed.
"Let's wish those guys will not be like you." I replied, passing him a smile.
"Hey! What's wrong if they're like me?" He furrowed his brows.
"I hate noisy and touchy people and it includes you." I spat out and gave him a disgusted look before turning to Namjoon.
"You should come over to meet my brother and his friend sometime tomorrow." Namjoon said while I nodded.
"I should head back now. See you tomorrow then!" I smiled and walked outside the dorm.

"I'm back!" I yelled as I kept the shoes in the shoe rack and entered the dorm.
"Hey Young-Hee! Good news!" Yuri called me as she moved her head out from her phone.
"What is it?" I placed the bags in the kitchen and took a seat beside her in curiosity.
"There will be two guys joining us tomorrow! I even heard they are handsome!" She squealed and clapped her hands like a fangirl.
I sighed and got up from the chair and started unloading the groceries. "Instead of doing something ridiculous, help me out here." I told while putting the groceries in their places.
She stood from the chair and walked up to me, unloading the groceries.
"Your other friend told you about these new students right? What was her name again?" I tried to start up a conversation while keeping a hand on my chin.
"Lisa! Her name's Lisa. She's my friend from childhood! I have told you several times! Being my friend-"
"Being your so called friend doesn't mean I've to remember your life story." I blurted out and stormed out of the kitchen, entering my room, full of papers and books.
I scratched my head, making my hair a mess, instantly regretting what I spoke there.
I messed it up. Again.
Now matter how much I tried getting along with her, I always ended up getting annoyed for no reason. Perhaps because I thought she was clingy or simply because she expected too much from me.
I ignored it and kept myself busy on
arranging the sheets of my bed and cleaned my desk, full of papers lying here and there.
