"Have goodnight!"
Jimin looked up from his desk, a smile formed on his lips upon seeing a pleasing pairing before him. Taehyung was waving him goodbye with one hand while the other was well attached to his boss's. They said their farewells then disappeared into the elevator, leaving Jimin alone.
"Mr.Park."
The voice was Yoongi, coming from the answering machine. Jimin picked it up, he asked what he needed.
"For you to get ready. I'm almost done so we can go to overtime. And don't take your time, I'm hungry and I will leave without if you're not ready by the time I get there."
Jimin chuckled. "Okay then let me just slowly-"
"I was joking!"
A minute later while Jimin put away some paper Yoongi ran out of his office. He pretended to look causal but he was slightly winded. Jimin of course took notice therefore he pointed it out while continuing to pack his things.
"You know, you're office isn't that far from here."
Yoongi raised his eyebrow. "You trying to say something?"
Jimin stood from his chair and closed the gap from his lips and the man's cheeks. He patted his chest and claimed he was just hungry to which the man agreed with. They headed down to ground level and then to the car that would take them where they needed to go. As they drove to the their next meal, the youngest one let out a sigh then a complain about how tired he was.
"This is all your fault Mr.Min." Jimin joked.
Yoongi smiled. "Fine then for the next date I'll be sure you don't do anything all day."
They agreed that for sure that should be their next outing. Perhaps a movie on a rainy day or any day if a rainy one does not come soon. When silence fell after their laughter, Jimin decided it was the right time to confront Yoongi something he wanted an answer to for some time now.
"Yoongi?"
"Yes Prince?"
"Did you know we actually met at a club?"
Yoongi tilted his head, he pretended to be in deep thought before nodding his head to Jimin's surprise.
"Of course I know, I may have been drunk but no one forgets meeting such a beautiful person."
"Y-You remembered me?"
"Would you forget a god looking human if you saw one?"
Jimin stay quiet for a few seconds before answering.
"If you get as drunk as I did that night then yeah because I forgot you"
The conversation ended there for they had arrived to their destination. Still being out in public, in the eyes of the others, they were unable to be as close as they wished but dealt with it. The waitress led them to a table Yoongi had specifically requested however they stopped in their tracks upon hearing the powerful man's name being called out.
"Yoongi?! Kyungie looks it Yoongs!"
The yell came from a man sitting with another. He had brown hair that matched his tan skin, the man with him was quite the opposite of that. His companion who appeared to be shorter and much lighter tried to calm him but failed. Yoongi took their course the way of who called him. Jimin grinned as he noticed the excitement in the guy's eyes as he got up. He pulled Yoongi into a hug, everyone around them had their eyes glued to them.
"Yoongi! I've missed you so much! How ya been?"
The man was being squished yet he managed out a respond. When he was let go of, they were invited to sit with the couple. His companion too rose to greet Yoongi in a hug, one that wasn't as forceful as his partners. Once settled, the tan man introduced himself properly to Jimin who was the only stranger.
"Hi, I'm Jongin and this is my husband Kyungsoo." Jongin pointed to the guy in front of him who smiled softly. "We're friends of Yoongi from college, you are?"
"Jimin, um Yoongi's..." Jimin looked over at the said male who was pulling out his seat for him to sit. He sat down next to Kyungsoo while Yoongi went to sit with Jongin. Yoongi answered for him.
"We're on a date Kai."
"Cool, us too."
Yoongi shook his head and took of sip out of the glass in front of Jongin. The male didn't seem to mind, he just sat there and stared at him as he did so. Jongin didn't wait for him to finish though, he turned his attention to Jimin.
"How long have you two been together?"
The question itself was complicated so Jimin gave an answer that wasn't. "Not sure but this is our first date."
Kyungsoo spoke up for the first time."First dates are always awkward, I remember our first. It was like seven years ago though, Nini was sweating so much. It sounds funny now but it was quite frightening at the time."
"Oh please!" Jongin said dramatically. "And you kept stuttering! I wasn't the only one acting weird!"
An argument broke off between the couple, a playful one. Jimin watched as Jongin made faces to his husband who simply smiled until he could put in his word. Yoongi whispered to Jimin's ear that this was how they had always been, so oblvious to each other. Finally they broke apart and spoke focused their attention back on their invited couple, Kyungsoo asked a question.
"Does she know?"
Jimin looked to the short male besides him and tilted his head. "Who?"
"Mrs.Min, does she know about you two?"
For a second Jimin thought of Yoongi sister so he said yes but Kyungsoo rephrased his question to which Yoongi tried to stop from reaching his partners ears. The one who brought it up asked for it to be forgotten completely and it appeared like it was but not for Jimin. The small scene sparked curiosity within him.
Dinner was a success and not in one bit awkward as thought it'd be. The couple were actually great in Jimin's eyes and made their evening so much better than he had expected or hoped for. Once it was over the four headed into the parking lot where one of the spouses held his belly in pain and whined.
"I'll never eat chicken ever again!"
Jimin couldn't believe he had been able to eat the biggest chicken plate known to be in the entire menu. It really was amazing, he praised the man for it but his husband was not on bit impressed.
"Yeah what's not is going to be great is the groaning and complains that follows."
They reached the point in which they went their seperate ways. Jongin and Yoongi engulfed each other in another hug which last much longer than the first one. As they were focused on each other, Jimin decided then was the time to ask of something from Kyungsoo.
"There's a few things I'd like to talk to you about...would it be okay if I got your number?"
Kyungsoo looked at him curiously for a few seconds before nodding. He took the phone from his hand and typed down numbers before handing it back.
"I hope to hear from you Jimin."
He didn't need to doubt it because it was what Jimin now looked foward to. Finally they said their final goodbye to the couple and split ways to find their vechile in the maze of cars. Now not in sight of many, Yoongi took hold of the hand he had been wanting to hold for a while.
"I'm sorry about tonight Prince."
Jimin looked over at his date, confused.
"I know this was suppose to be our first date and kinda got ruined."
"What are you talking about? That was great!" Jimin smiled as he pointed behind him. "I got to learn a little of your past, they did your talking for you and not to be mean but you're not the best at sharing. So don't be sorry, I had a good time."
Yoongi smiled and nodded before leaning in to plant a kiss on the side of the man's head.
"I know it might be a little too early for this but I love you."
Jimin stopped and turned to face him. He leaned in so that their foreheads were touching.
"It might be but it's good to know you feel the same cause I love you too."
