Lightning, Paarthurnax and a few other Starters walked through the forest, following the scents of the escaped criminals. "I can sense the criminals, we are getting close. I also caught the scent of another Pokémon." Lightning said.

A Shiny Treecko sniffed the air. "I smell... fresh blood?" He questioned.

A Wartortle looked up in alarm. "I can smell it too!"

The Starters followed the blood odor and made it to the dead Shiny Piplup body. A Bulbasaur looked at it and immediately felt sick to his stomach and threw up. A Chikorita wearing a red bow quivered in disgust. "Ewww!! You have such a weak stomach newbie!" She groaned.

"Sorry, I'm new to this. I haven't seen this much blood before." The Bulbasaur whined.

"Well get use to it!!" The sassy Chikorita shouted.

"I'm willing to bet that Voltage, Avail, and Amber are to blame for this, we have to find them." Lightning replied.

"Yes. I know we do." Paarthurnax replied.

"Pfft what's the rush. Rushing into things can get us killed Pikachu!" The sassy Chikorita snarked.

Lightning just glared at her. "I can't believe Paarthurnax hires Starters like her..."

"Stop talking we have work to do." Paarthurnax growled.

Audra was sitting in the cave lost in thought. She was thinking of a memory of her Pikachu childhood. She was watching her little sister who just newly evolved into a Pikachu playing with three other Pikachus. Audra just stood alone under a tree. "Why does she have to be more popular than me? We're both Pikachu. Is it because she  joined that Starter Squad and I chose not to? She's weak. I could easily beat her in a battle."

Lightning turned to see Audra alone. "I'll be right back guys..." she told them.

She approached Audra. "Hi Audra. Would you care to join us?"

"No! I don't need to join your dumb baby games!" Audra growled turning away.

"What's wrong, Audra?" Lightning asked.

"Nothing is wrong, sister!" She growled lowly.

"Come on, Audra. Don't be like that." Lightning reached out a paw for her sister's but Audra pushed her away.

"Go away, weakling!!"

"I-I'm not a weakling."

"Yes you are!! Just leave me alone you pathetic Starter Squad member nuisance!!" She blurred out.

Most of the Pikachu stopped stopped what they were doing and stared at Audra, they gasped in surprise.

"How dare she say that about the Starter Squad!!" One Pikachu growled.

"They try their best to protect the Pokémon in Poketown. They don't deserve so much backlash." Another murmured.

"I can't believe one of the daughters of Thunder, a retired Starter Squad member would say such a thing."

"She should be ashamed of herself."

She turned to her sister and growled with gritted teeth. "I hate you..." she mumbled. She walked off and went inside a large hole in the ground.

She sighed and laid down in bed. She turned to see the Thunderstone beside her. She remembered that it was given to her as a gift from a friend a long time ago. She never thought of using it before, until now. She just looked at it at first debating whether to use it at last or not. She then remembered what her Eevee friend that gave it to her said, "you should wait until you are sure you are ready."

She laid her head back down and turned away from the stone. "Not yet..." she told herself.

Audra shook her head from the memory when she heard Gir and Charlotte clear their throats. She turned to see them waiting there. "Should we be looking for the Pikachu?" Gir asked.

"Oh, yes. Of course!" She answered.
