Walking up to the front door Phil rings the bell adjusting the bag on his shoulder.

"Hello Phil darling."

"Hi Mrs. Howell is Dan ready?"

"I think so come in and have a seat I'll go get him."

"Thank you."

Phil smiles sitting on the couch sending a quick message to his mother to let her know that he made it to Dan's.

"Hi Phil."

"Hi love are you ready to go?"

"Yeah I have the blanket and pillows you asked me to pack."

"Great lets head out Mrs. Howell I'll have him back by eleven."

"Thank you and have fun you two."

She smiles waving as the teens walk out shutting the door behind them taking his hand Phil smiles kissing Dan's cheek.

"So what do you want to do?"

"You said you had a surprise right?"

"That I do."

"Can we do that please?"

"Of course we can love now I have a question for you okay? What would you say if I could take you to the most perfect spot to watch the stars?"

Leaning closer Phil whispers softly in Dan's ear a grin spreading across the younger lad's face.

"I would say what are we waiting for take me to the stars Phil."

Dan laughs holding his hand as Phil tugs him to follow close behind the two making their way to the car the ten minute ride spent singing along to the radio with the cool air blowing through the windows they had cracked. 

"How long have you known about this place?"

"A couple years now."

"Why haven't we been there before?"

"I wanted to do it when the time was right it's a special place and I know you're going to love it as much as I do maybe even more."

"Well that definitely sounds very promising."
