Dan hums mixing the cookie dough his mum was helping him make for dessert after their dinner.

"So dad is working late what do you say we have a junk night and order some pizza instead of having the pasta?"

"That's the best idea that I've heard all week."

He smiles adding the chocolate chips into the mix turning the kitchen aid back on to combined them in. Grabbing a spoon he scrapes off the sides before grabbing the pan and applying paper and spray so they won't stick. 

"How big of a scoop?"

"Tablespoon we want these cookies to be big."

She grins hanging up the phone after ordering two large pizzas they would definitely enjoy the leftovers tomorrow.

"I'm so excited these are going to taste great the gooey warm chocolate against the soft cookie."

"Stop Daniel you're making me hungry."

"Sorry mum."

They continue filling the trays taking breaks in between the cooking to get the pizza, when the last set are cooling on the rack. Dan grabs a box of the pizza the two heading into the kitchen to start on their dinner. 

"How's Phil?"

"He's good I haven't had the chance to talk to him yet today he had a bunch of errands to run with his mum."

"Do you two have any plans this weekend?"

"Yeah he said he has a surprise but he won't tell me what it is."

"That's the whole point of a surprise."

"I know but it's annoying I don't want to wait."

Dan replies wiping the sauce from his mouth taking a drink of the coke she brought out for them to drink.

"Well you only have one more day then you'll get to find out just hold on a little bit longer.
