"Why can't I go out with you?"

Dan asks into the phone as Phil makes his way through a wooded area making sure not to stumble over rocks or tree roots.

"Because you still aren't well enough to go very far."

"I hate not getting to see the stars with you."

"I know love but we'll make up for it when you're completely better okay? I don't want you coming out here and getting sick again, or over tiring yourself."

"Uhg I understand I just miss it."

"So do I bear but it's okay I promise."

"Seeing them from my window isn't the same as actually being outside underneath them."

"I know what you mean I've only been watching them from the patio."

Phil stops to catch his breath leaning against a tree he hoped the place was still good he had wanted to bring Dan to this old meadow for a long time he just never had the chance to check it out.

"Phil are you still there?"

"Hmm oh yeah sorry I was just catching my breath I'll call you when I make it back home."

"Alright please be safe."

"I will behave yourself I love you."

"Don't worry I'm always well behaved I love you."

Hanging up Phil puts his phone in his pocket giving himself a few more minutes rest before continuing his way through the woods. Following the trail that was etched into his brain Phil makes it to the clearing.

"Wow."

It still looked as good as the last time he had been here the grass had grown pretty high but he could take care of that. If his memory was anything to go by this would be a fantastic place to look at the stars and it's only a five minute walk from the car. Planning out how he could get the grass cut down Phil types away on his phone making a plan of how he could get it all done as soon as possible. He wanted to bring Dan just as soon as he was one hundred percent better.
