Kadavul Irukaan Kumaru!

'Interview nalla panu, kandippa innaiku unaku vela kedachurum..'

'Ada yenma ni vera..neraya company eri erangiyachu...onnu, recommendation letter kekraan, ilana experience kekraan..edhadhu oru companyla work pana chance kudutha dhane enna prove pana mudiyum?' he talked in a disappointed tone, making Lakshmi sigh,

'Antha company lam en magana mari oru theramayana employee ah miss panitanga, avlo dha..un theramaikana palan kandippa kedaikum da..'

'Apdiye nambitu iruken, aana varusham oodradhu dha micham..' he was worried.

Lakshmi patted his head and smiled warmly,

'Magic namma lifela epo nadakum epdi nadakum nu theriyadhu, aana nadakrappo intha olagathulaye namma dha luckiest person nu thonum..adhu varaikum wait panu da..'

Ashwinkumar, a 25-year-old MSE graduate who pursued in Software Engineering desired to start his own IT firm, but he wanted to work in an IT company to gain experience before doing so. He tried in many companies but couldn't bag any opportunity which made him dejected.

His father wanted him to look after his business which Ashwin didn't like. He didn't want to be under the wing of his father but wanted to earn his own name that too in his passionate field. After so many arguments with his father, he started searching for job.

Today, he made up his mind to stop trying hereafter.

'Innaiku matum vela kedaikala na, appa solradha keka vendiyadhu dha..'

He adjusted his purple-colored shirt's collar and long sleeves before setting his hair. Checking one last time in the side mirror, he started his bullet and stormed off. His mind was already set for a rejection, but still he wanted to give it a try for the sake of his heart.

Sighing heavily, he waited in the main signal, but cursed his fate, when the bike stopped in the middle of the road without fuel. He groaned in frustration and tried to switch on the reserved fuel, but that too was empty, which added to his frustration.

'Yov! nadu roadla bike ah vachutu ena ya panra?' an auto driver shouted.

Ashwin turned towards him in frustration,

'Ah? vendudhalu! petrol ila ya..unaku venumna overtake panitu po..' he shouted back.

The driver smirked,

'Ivlo periya bullet vachirundhu enna prayojanam? petrol ilana ella vandiyum oru nalaiku road la ninnu dha aahanum..' he didn't wait for his reply and stormed off, making Ashwin furious.

Ashwin kicked the floor in frustration and got down from the bike to take it towards a side, but his mind was occupied with what the auto driver said. He was true. Ashwin had everything. His father was a well-known businessman, but he never wanted to ask him anything. It was not because of ego, but due to his passion towards his work. Now, he felt like going back to him, giving up his passion.

'Pesama veetuku poiralama?'

His thoughts got disturbed when he heard a voice,

'Enachu pa?'

Ashwin turned towards and noticed the share-auto driver,

'Petrol ila na, bike ninnuruchu..interview ponum..'

'Entha area pa?'

'Kodambakkam na..'

'Antha pakkama dha porom, eru pa..'

He smiled at his concern and got in. He adjusted himself in the small space, ignoring the obese uncle who almost crushed him since he got in. In that chaos, he failed to notice a petite woman who sat on the opposite corner, talking with a small kid.

'Dei kumaru! seriyana maangamadayan da ni..'

Her words made him widen his eyes, and that's when his eyes fell on her. She was facing the other side, and her wavy hair kept swaying, hiding her face. Ashwin gaped his mouth in shock when she spoke further,

'Ennada vaaya polandhukitu pakra?'

Ashwin visibly gasped, making the fat uncle frown at him. He passed a sheepish smile before averting his gaze back to the woman,

'Enaku ipdi kupdradhu dha pudichiruku, ni shock aahradhukaha lam na enna mathikka maten..'

Ashwin was confused now. How did she know his name and guessing his thoughts even without looking at him?

His thoughts were disrupted when she spoke further,

'Inga paru Kumaru, yarkahavum nammala naama mathika vendam..namaku pudichadha pannuvom, athu enanu kandupudikradhu dha namma vazhkaiyoda aim..'

'Adha kandupudichadhuku aprom namma mulu aasayayum vachu athukaha ozhaicha, kandippa namaku adhu kedaiknum..firstu epdiyadhu adhu venumnu mulusa manasu vaikanum..'

She smiled and patted the boy's head. Ashwin realised that the woman was talking to that small boy, and looked keenly,

'Namaku onnu pudikum na intha universe eh serndhu adha namakaha senju kudukum..' saying that, she kissed the boy's cheek, making Ashwin smile. Unknowingly, he caressed his own cheek, making the same fat uncle look at him suspiciously.

Ashwin yearned to see her face and as she heard him, she turned towards him, making his heart skip a beat. Her striking black eyes caught him completely off-guard. Her kohled eyes directly pierced his soul, stirring something inside him. Her naturally glowing face with her cute dimple added to the cuteness. Her sharp nose and soft lips looked alluring. Her wavy hair strands caressed her face, making her look angelic.

She stared at him for a few seconds before she turned back to the boy,

'Akka! oru chocolate ku ivlo periya lecture thevaya?' the boy whined, making her huff,

'Dei, chocolate oh vazhkaiyo, ethuva irunthalum ore karuththu dha..'

'Seri, ipo enna dha sola vara?' he asked cutely, making her eye in disbelief. A chuckle escaped Ashwin's lips, looking at their cuteness.

'Sivaangiyoda oru lifetime advice..kekriya?' Her name made Ashwin smile wider. Unknowingly, he murmured her name.

'Sollu...'

'Kadavul irukaan Kumaru, avaru setting kaha wait panu..'

Ashwin's heart felt light all of a sudden. He felt like she talked to him. It felt too personal, and a constant smile crept his face. Before he came out of his trance, she bid bye and vanished.

Ashwin felt empty when she left. He yearned to hear more from her, but sighed thinking that was not going to happen. But somewhere in his heart, she gave him the courage to believe in himself and stand for what he wanted.

Ashwin entered into the building and waited for his interview to happen. After a few minutes, he was called in, and he relieved a sigh before entering in. Ashwin's eyes widened in shock when he saw the same woman, sitting in the interviewer's seat. More than the nervousness, his heart jumped in joy with an unknown happiness.

He saw her eyes too widen in recognition,

'Take your seat Mr..'

'Ashwin..' he flashed a smile, and she reciprocated it.

After a few formal questions, she spoke,

'Ungala epdi ithana companies la reject pananga?' she asked quizzically, for which he shrugged with a smile, but his heart knew the answer.

'Ungakita vanthu sekradhukaha dha nga..' he clicked his tongue when she frowned,

'I mean, unga company..'

She hummed in response,

'Antha company lam ungala mari oru theramayana employee ah miss panitanga, avlo dha..unga talent kaana palan kedaichiruchu..'

Her smile made his heart skip a beat, once again. The same words which his mother said to him that morning, flashed in his mind.

'Entha oru ponna pakrappo na unna pakra mari feel panreno, ava dha ma enakanava..' he remembered his own words which he told his mother. A wide smile adorned his face, when everything around him looked blurred, except her.

'You are selected Mr. Ashwinkumar..' she handed over his file, which he received while looking into her eyes, and made her heart drop. His gaze erupted something inside her, and she soon averted her gaze.

'Kumaru dha itha vida nalarundhuchu..' he said, and she snapped her head at him with a frown. It took some time to process what he spoke about. She tried to control her smile, but miserably failed.

He collected his files and spared a look at her before leaving the room, and she looked back at his disappearing figure. He opened the door, but turned with a smile once again,

'Correct ah dha soneenga Ms.Sivaangi...Kadavul irukaru..'
