twenty five

she was well into the first chapter when she began feeling sleepy and decided to leave the store. with the thick book in hand, she walked towards the register and paid for it. on her way out, she was met with none other than min yoongi who was entering the shop as she was leaving.

she brought her lips together to form a thin line. "you're a stalker, aren't you?"

"me?" he gasped, clearly offended by her words. by his side was his three year old son, who danna smiled at sweetly. "maybe you're stalking me." he accused.

"i was here first." she pointed out.

"i'm only here to buy some new books for jonghyun. i think he's done with that story about that god awful rabbit who visits his grandmother." he defended himself for being there, whilst offering his explanation. "i've gone to a few other bookstores in the area and couldn't find any he liked."

so in september things started to get a little interesting.

i felt like he was a nice guy, and maybe i could start to catch feelings. but i didn't want to admit anything to myself or others because we had kinda just met and started talking like three months prior. so i wanted to give it time.

but then one of our friends in the squad caught me off guard. she and i went out together for ramen. and we were in the car and she tells me, "what do you think of A...?" 

so i was confused, and i said, "he's nice..."

so then she comes out with the confession that SHE WAS IN LOVE WITH A. so clearly i was in shock. especially bc all of us are around the same age, but this friend is ten years older than me, and like fourteen years older than A. like she could pretty much be his mother. but i didn't want to judge her. still. when she told me that, i was a little upset. and i didn't understand why it bothered me so much that she liked him.

but it did.
