sixty one

danna knew exactly why he was going. he needed to show up in court because ara wanted to take jonghyun from him. in the month that they had to prepare before trial, danna had asked her dad for the phone numbers of his lawyer friends. they were working hard to prove that jonghyun was in better hands with his father in seoul, than with his mother in daegu.

"good luck with everything." she told him, adding a shy and rushed, "i'll miss you."

"you'll miss me?" yoongi grinned at her words.

danna looked down, but nodded her head. "you're not as arrogant and annoying as i initially thought."

starting that whole next week i didn't put in any effort at my job at the restaurant. i was already in at an office job, with a starting pay of 17.50 per hour.

on june 4th, A was released from work before me. i was at home depot picking up a barrel of paint for our upcoming inspection. he texted me if i wanted him to wait so we could go home together. i told him it was fine if he wanted to head home. but i wanted him to decide on his own that he wanted to wait. so i was lowkey mad when i got back to work and asked him where he was. and he texted me that he went home.

later that afternoon we went to go eat chik fila and went to the mall just us two. it was fun.

on june 7th we went up to see the griffith observatory at night. i invited my cousin. she asked him if he would protect us from danger (bc she knows i like him), and he jokingly said he would run away. but then he laughed and said that if it came down to it, he would protect us.

june 8th was my last day as a full time employee at the restaurant. i hugged everyone and told them it was a pleasure working with them. so then A approaches me and shyly says that he's going to miss seeing me at work every day and he gives me a hug. so then i playfully call him a dork and tell him we hang out all the time outside of work. its not gonna be any different bc i have a new job. and he says he knows that. but people change sometimes, and he said i might forget about him. so i assure him i won't. i almost cried.
