during her lunch break, danna sat in the employee room with a ham sandwich and a bottle of orange juice sitting there for her to eat. she didn't like to rely on her parents' money and attempted to do things for herself. cooking was one of those things, although she wasn't very good at it. after poorly attempting and burning a pot full of rice, she finally gave up and made a sandwich. it was the simplest thing she could think of. it only required a few slices of ham and bread.

the other thing she did while on her break was to try to text taemin. when jongin introduced them, he had been so charming and polite. they had gotten on from the start. now he never answered her messages. danna felt like an idiot, wanting someone who clearly didn't want her, but it was what jongin did when he was trying to date danna's best friend. it seemed to work out for him.

when it was evident taemin wasn't going to answer her text, she tried texting her best friend nara to pass the time.

so i had forgotten that the original story im adapting this from is a sequel. so i had to cut some information so that the story could make sense. maybe i'll post the first part later as a prequel to this, but as of now im not sure.

so anyway, on may 23rd i convinced my work friends to let him into our group chat. to this day that group chat is still active.

i told them he was cool and really nice and we should invite him whenever we go out bc he seemed like he needed friends. everyone was okay with it so i texted A about it. he said it was cool if i wanted to add him.

so i did. we were planning a six flags trip, but we didn't invite him because it was already like two days away.
