her mother's eyes widened at danna's words. "why didn't you tell the police?"

"i did, and they didn't believe me." danna replied. "they think i'm unstable."

but her mother was outraged at what she heard. "they can't do that! a child's life is in danger. they have to investigate every possibility."

"i know." danna agreed. 

"well, from what you said to me now and the other things i've heard from you and yoongi, she seems to be acting pretty suspicious." her mother said. if the police had investigated yoongi and danna, they needed to investigate ara too. "maybe i can tell the police that she could be involved."

so the rest of the night was a pretty fun hike. we got home around midnight and A and i were going in at 4am the next morning to open up the restaurant. we were honestly dead the next morning. we opened together for three more weeks until the week of his birthday. so the week before his birthday, he tells me on that saturday after work "idk if i told you, but i asked for the weekend off next week. for my birthday. you gonna be okay opening the restaurant by yourself?" and my heart melted. he said he would miss me. and i said. "yeah, i'll be fine. its only for one week right?"

it was on june 27th and he asked for the weekend off. so the day before his birthday we hung out and drove around, and just had fun together. on his birthday his mom got him a cake. then on the day after i got him a cake and me and the squad took him down to the beach. it was john, nando, moira, A, and me. leexi and jav couldn't come bc they were working late.

it was so cute bc when we got home from the beach that afternoon he immediately texts me. "hey did i do something to make you upset with me?" and i was like "no why?" and he said, "bc you always pick me up and this time you sent nando." so i told him "i dont have any reason to be mad at you. i just wanted to surprise you with a cake for your bday. so i went with moira and john, and i didn't want you to see it so i asked nando to pick you up." and he was like "okay. i was just wondering. i thought maybe i did something to make you upset without knowing it."

after that week, he was removed from the schedule as my opener on saturdays and it sucked bc saturdays are the busiest and most stressful days of the week at our restaurant. he's been given saturdays off now and it kills me bc its boring and i miss him. so now i only see him 2-3 times a week instead of 4-5 like i used to.
