forty nine

"are you threatening me?" danna gasped, but it was more of a mocking gasp. she wasn't afraid of ara and her threats. ara seemed to be all bark.

"i demand that you give me my son." this time she slammed her balled up fist on the counter, her voice growing louder.

danna remained calm, so as not to draw more attention from the other parents who were with their children. "i'm going to ask you nicely to leave once more, and she should go within the next few minutes. my family owns this place and we don't want any trouble, but you're forcing me to have to call security." she said through gritted teeth. her patience with ara was starting to run thin.

finally taking a deep breath to calm herself, ara shook her head. "that won't be necessary. i'll go, but this isn't over." reaching for her bag and grabbing something from inside it, she slapped a closed envelope on the reception desk behind where danna stood. "give this to yoongi and tell him to read it as soon as possible."

i came back after a few minutes and they're already talking about something else. A looks up as i sit next to him and smiles at me. and immediately ricky starts shouting about how A was defending me so hard while i was gone, and how he was saying that moira crossed the line and stuff.

so moira looks at me and says. "i was just playing. idk why she has to take it like that."

so i don't say anything because either way she's going to believe what she wants. so then we go to the mall, and it closes at 9pm, and it was like 8:40 when we got there.

i needed to go to the adidas store to get something for my friend cali's bday. moira was going to aeropostale to get something for her dad. so she says, "whoever wants to come with me, can come. whoever wants to go with clary, go with her." and ricky chooses moira bc they're cousins. and i didn't care bc i thought at least A would come with me.

but then ricky and moira walk away and then A WALKS AWAY IN THE SAME DIRECTION AS THEM. i was mad and i was heartbroke af that he chose her.
