eighty

the plane ride to daegu was very short and the three stayed in a nice flat that yoongi owned and stayed at whenever he was visiting family. his parents had already promised they would be at the trial to offer him their support, in case he were to need witnesses, even though their lawyers assured they had a strong case. they thought it unlikely that a judge would side with a woman who was capable of abandoning her own son. the plan was that danna would stay with jonghyun at the flat, keeping him distracted until his father returned that afternoon.

since the lawyers had been working all month, and yoongi was an important person, they agreed that the trial would be synthesized and moved to take place in the span of three days. ara complained about it, she wanted a long trial, but the court of daegu was understanding about yoongi's career.

yoongi's parents hadn't met danna yet, they had no idea he was seeing someone. and danna was just as nervous as yoongi felt when he met her parents. but she thought that if he could do it, then she could do it as well.

so i asked A if we could talk and he said sure. and i asked him what the deal with him and moira was. he said he didn't know what i was talking about. so i reminded him that she's giving him rides to and from work and people are talking about them. and he immediately said there was nothing between them.

he assured me that he was helping his mom with the rent and he didn't have enough money to pay for his ubers everyday to get to work. so he said when moira offered, he took it as his opportunity. so i grinned bc i knew he wasn't taking it as anything romantic.

then he told me he'd rather ride with me, but since i don't work all week at the restaurant he can't. then he also said he feels shy asking me either way because he doesn't want to be a burden. he said with moira it was different bc he doesn't care what she thinks. 

then he said if it bothered me, he would stop.

so i told him that she's our friend so he can do what he wants. but like a prvious time, i wanted him to decide it on his own. so i gave him the choice and the freedom to do it. he actually stopped accepting rides from her. so i felt like it was a victory for me.
