"that's because he had a career to tend to. and even then, i doubt he never spent any time with jonghyun. with you, he's not forced to spend any time, but i know for a fact that yoongi loves his son." danna defended yoongi rather ardently. "in any case, he counted on you to be there to take care of your son, but you had to be selfish. you left him with such a big responsibility that was for the two of you to share. and he has been a great father to jonghyun, and jonghyun just adores him. i know because i have seen it. and i realize its not my place to call you out like this, but i just really think yoongi deserves better."

ara snorted and gave a roll of her eyes. "whatever."

"now if there's nothing more you need, i'm going to have to ask you to leave. there's the door." danna gestured towards the exit.

"i came to take my son from here." ara stated firmly.

rohan and i both hear A calling, but i just ignore him because i'm having a conversation. plus, rohan was ignoring him too. but eventually he keeps calling me for a good two minutes.

so i turn and i say really loudly. "YES A? CAN I HELP YOU?"

and he just like silently waves me over. so i kinda groan and tell rohan i'll brb and i walk over to A. so then again i ask him if he needs anything. and he looks like he thinks about it, and pulls a container of splenda from one of the condiment racks. and he says to me, "my splenda container has more than yours." and then you can tell he kinda mentally kicks himself for saying something that stupid.

so i just grin bc i think he was just jealous that i was talking with rohan and not him. so i decide to play along. so i take it from him and i say, "let me have this one. window is more important than front counter."

and he grins back, "nah. its mine. im here by myslef, so i deserve the better one."

but he lets me have it anyway. as im walking back, i hear him scolding himself in a really low voice. "why was i trying so hard to get her attention just now?"
