yoongi'e hand balled up into a fist in anger and helplessness. "why does she want to take my son?" he asked, his eyes looking down at the table. his voice shook as he continued. "she left him. she didn't want him. why does she want to be his mother now?"

"i told her to leave you alone." danna told him, her eyes looked at her hands and she then reached for his hand hesitantly, taking it in hers. "i told her you and i were dating. but she said that if she won't have you back, she'll have her son. Yoongi," she came up with an idea, and she was quick to offer it to him. "i can help you. not just with my support, but my family has connections. my dad knows important people."

but he seemed to have almost given up. "i know how this works. justice always sides with the mothers because they think a child is better off with them."

i was looking at my old photos and eight days after my birthday, A and i went out with moira to the mall. there was a sprinkles store and he went in. i thought he was getting something for himself, but he handed me a little bag with a cupcake and told me happy birthday.

on may twelfth, he and i went with john to watch that detective pikachu movie. on may fourteenth we went to have lunch together with moira. on may fifteenth we went to disneyland. 

my sister thought we were traumatized after the accident, and we kinda were. so she offered to take A, john, and i to disneyland. lowkey i remember hoping john wouldn't be able to make it because i wanted it to be just A and i. but i mean, he couldn't pass up the free disneyland ticket. 

on may seventeenth i had my first interview for my office job. i remember it went well, but they still asked for a second interview later. to celebrate that i had gotten through to a second interview, A invited me out for lunch at in-n-out. it was just the two of us and it was nice. even though he was happy for me though, i could tell he looked kind of sad at the possibility of my leaving the restaurant.
