Miss Me Already?

++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++

Author's POV

"Fuck him!" Jungkook cursed as Taehyung laughed wholeheartedly and fell back on the bed; finding it funny how his best friend had a love-hate relationship with their neighbors.

It's truly amusing and funny at the same time because the younger one didn't stop cursing and ranting about what happened last night. The moment Jimin saved him… The moment Jimin covered his body with a blanket… And later the moment Jimin threw him out of the car… And they ended up flirting on Jungkook's porch… However, the main highlights of the night are when they finished flirting and Jimin did what Jungkook least expected. Again.

The man gave him back the baby pink blanket and asked him to wash it.

That's when Taehyung burst out laughing and fell back on Jungkook's bed while cupping his mouth; finding it cute and cruel at the same time. Because really– what the hell? There's nobody, literally, nobody would do that. Moreover when you just saved the person. It's like asking your guest to pay for what they eat in your house… It's crazy, nobody has done that. Except for Jimin, probably.

"You don't want to fuck him, Jungkook. You wanted him to fuck you. That's different." Taehyung joked as Jungkook scoffed before grabbing a pillow and throwing it at him and luckily he managed to snatch it away from landing on his handsome face.

Well, Jungkook is not going to deny that though. He does want Jimin to fuck him but still… He extremely hates the man now. And that's the problem, even with such an amount of hate, the feelings somehow couldn't overtake the lust he has for the older. And now that he knows Jimin also wanted him– despite the fact that the older one declared he's straight– Jungkook couldn't help but feel eager to see where they are going.

But surely, he won't give in first.

"Anyways, Ji-Eun is coming tonight. Wanna come? It's been a while since we three went out." Taehyung spoke up, swiftly changing the subject as Jungkook titled his head to his friend's side with excitement. The older one is right, it's been a while since they last got out together… It seems like ages since the last time he met the singer. Beforehand, they always stick together; do everything together, like best friends usually do but as they grow old and each of them gets their own job, the record has faded away, therefore they rarely hang out anymore.

Unless of course, Ji-Eun is free because she, working as a singer, has her own peaks and that's always busy. Jungkook couldn't imagine how stressful his best friend must be out there.

But the thing is… he has work tonight.

"I don't know, hyung. I have work tonight you know." Jungkook mumbled, biting his lower lips, slightly keeping his head down low. It was a moment like this that provoked him to wish he was one of those rich people who make their feet rugged from money. But that's the thing, it was only a wish; the one he's sure he'll never get no matter how hard he works because he didn't even finish his study. Hell, he didn't even get into high school. What do you expect from someone like him?

"Yeah, I know. But taking one day off is not going to hurt, Kook. Besides, after what happened yesterday, I believe you deserve a rest. I don't know for real how you could let something like that pass like time, I would get traumatized for sure." Taehyung confessed, sighing a little bit as his eyes stayed still on Jungkook with worry while the younger one just looked away before taking a deep breath.

It's not that he didn't get traumatized, he did once during the first time he got stuck in almost the same situation. But as time passed, he learn that being scared by what happened is stupid and a waste of time. He got too much work to even care about his feelings deep down so he let those things pass with time. But now that Taehyung mentioned it, he couldn't help but wonder what he really feels about all of this. Was he scared…? Natural…? Or exhausted…? Jungkook couldn't confirm. After all, he never cares about his inside other than his looks because that's what his main work is basically based on. Looks.

And of course, it didn't hurt anyone if he took a day off but of course– it would hurt him. It's easy for Taehyung to ask him that but who's going to pay his fees and his food? The house tax? The electric bill? He knows that he could ask the older for help but it is also well known that Jungkook is a proud man, the one who doesn't want to ask for anyone's help unless he was too desperate which he isn't…for now. So let's keep it that way as long as he can.

"We'll see how, hyung," Jungkook mumbled as Taehyung nodded and opened his mouth to reply but failed to do it when a kinda hear-alike lullaby pitch echoed in the house; coming from downstairs, passed the kitchen. It was the dryer sound, indicating the drying time had ended, and knowing what's the material he put in; Jungkook immediately frowned as his good mood washed away in the second, replaced with the bitter feelings he has for Jimin instead.

"Need to go, hyung. I'll text you if anything," Jungkook spoke up and heard the older man humming as he looked at himself in the mirror, staring at the new clothes he bought during the last time he went shopping with Taehyung. He was wearing a red silk material shirt; decorated with long white vertical stripes as it tucked neatly into his black leather jeans while a small black tie hung loosely around his neck, completing his whole look.

"You look beautiful, and different." He heard Taehyung comment from behind as Jungkook chuckled. The older one was right again, he looks different from usual. Maybe it's because this is the first time he wears something other than a hoodie and not actually black, gray, or dark gray and rather; blazing cherry red. It just suits nicely with his black hair that is now no longer styled in a man bun but instead, he just let it go and found himself surprised because his hair was surely long.

"Didn't I look beautiful everyday?" Jungkook jokes.

"Well yeah you do but today is just extra, anyways take care. Don't get into a mess." Taehyung answered simply as if that's everyday talk while Jungkook nodded and left his room; leaving the older one. He made his way towards his kitchen downstairs and went straight to the back; where a washing machine and a dryer were placed nicely beside each other. The room is neither big nor small, it was just enough to make it the spot with an IKEA pendant light hanging beautifully in the middle; giving the area a peaceful setting.

However, the owner is not.

Jungkook sighed tiredly before opening the dryer and grabbing whatever he shoved inside it and pulling it out fastly. There, he holds it in both of his hands; the certain soft pinkish baby blanket as he took his time to stare at the material and couldn't help but remember what happened last night. Yes, he hates Jimin for sure; he already confirmed that many times but he also couldn't deny that he was deeply touched by the man's action last night. Not everyone has that level of self-control to not check out his body and Jungkook must admit; Jimin has a little bit of his respect even though he's being an asshole after.

A soft smile appeared on Jungkook's face unconsciously as he remembered what happened after… It was funny, to be honest, he didn't expect himself to actually kick Jimin's car's door. That was very childish of him and thinking about it back, he feels awfully embarrassed by his own behavior. A hot sensation crawled up to both of his cheeks as they slowly turned redder as each second passed.

He feels it.

The tingling emotions gradually wander around his soul.

Immediately Jungkook clenched the blanket in his hands before letting one of his hands go as he straightly placed it on his chest; feeling his heart beating faster than usual. Why is this happening…? Why does he suddenly feel this? He was just fine a few seconds ago but now he feels restless.

"Oh? You're still here?" Taehyung's voice interrupted as Jungkook turned around in an instant, hand already pointed down as he stared at the older for a moment before remembering what he wanted to do earlier. "Ah, yeah. Just thinking about something earlier. I'll get going now. Don't forget to shut down the electricity when you want to go out." He pointed out and heard the older man humming before checking out his kitchen cabinet; probably looking for chips or anything he could eat.

Yes, they both have their own house but neither one of them stayed in it long. It will be either Taehyung coming to his house or he will come to the male's house. It's fun that way, they are so used to having each other under the same roof along with Ji-Eun so it eventually ended up like this. And yeah, I know what you're thinking– why not just buy one house and live together? Well, they didn't want to. Simple as that.

Back on Jungkook, he made his way out of his house as now he stood straight on his porch and looked to his left; where Jimin's house is. He quickly made his way towards the other's house as he, later on, stood right in front of Jimin's door with the baby material in his hands. The plan was simple: give back the blanket and walk off to work as his shift will start soon– Jungkook had already thought about it all. It was perfect.

Clearing his throat, he held out his finger to push the bell button on the door monitor as he bent down to get close to the speaker item. "Jimin? I'm here. I have this stupid blanket with me." He spat out and pulled away from the thing; hoping that the general heard the bitterness in his voice as he waited for a second before hearing the monitor let out Jimin's voice.

'Hey, there. I'm not in the house for a moment! Please call me if it's an emergency and if it's not, feel free to wait or preferably come back later.'

"What the fuck?" Jungkook cursed hearing the monitor record. No, he didn't feel angry by the fact that Jimin is not home because the male is probably headed out to work but hearing the male's voice is enough to make him angry. He, himself, couldn't tell why. He sighed before rolling his eyes and looked over the screen monitor, checking out if there was Jimin's number and surprisingly there was, so he took out his phone and started to dial in.

"You're lucky enough I'm in my good mood." He mumbled under his breath and glanced down at his hand before hearing his phone ring; indicating it reached Jimin's phone. It didn't take long for the line to pick up and Jungkook opened his mouth, ready to sass the man but instantly failed to do so when the other line greeted him first; making him freeze.

‘General Park at your service, may I help you?’

The voice… Oh, it was filled with commanding and power. You don't have to face the general to feel the dominance he radiates, Jimin's voice was enough to make Jungkook silent as he was mute. It was cold yet hot. Not to mention the professionalism, it only added to the amount of hotness in the raspy voice. Jungkook's mind went blank, he couldn't think of anything.

‘Hello?’

Jimin once again spoke up, bringing Jungkook to reality as his eyes snapped and he cleared his throat; mentally cursing at himself for acting stupid.

‘Jungkook…?’

"Uhh, y-yeah. It's m-me." Jungkook mumbled under his breath, stuttering along the way as he closed his eyes and gritted his teeth, silently slapping himself for it. He was honestly shocked when Jimin got to recognize his voice because they just talked multiple times. And just when he wanted to feel special about it, he remembered that Jimin was a general– so the man is powerful in instincts so there's nothing special about him remembering Jungkook's voice.

What a pleasant surprise… What got you to call me in the morning? Miss me already?’

Jungkook immediately scoffed in reply to the statement, Jimin incredibly just knows how to ruin his mood. "You're so full of yourself, General Park. I'm here with the blanket. Where do you want me to put it? Or should I throw this thing in a pig's stall nearby?" Jungkook spat out and heard the other line chuckle in amusement; unknowingly bringing shivers run through his back, therefore, making his legs weaken as he immediately leaned on the door; stopping himself from falling on the floor.

You can put it on the couch inside but make sure to keep quiet. The passcode is PMH1309.’

"You're brave enough to give me your lock password. Won't you be worried if I steal something?" Jungkook asked, amazed by the fact Jimin openly tells him something that shouldn't be known unless you're the owner. It's dangerous technically, what if the male gave it to the wrong person? Sure, Jungkook wouldn't steal anything but what about other people? We'll never know.

‘Why, what did you want to steal? My heart? I see no reason why I should stop that.’

Jungkook choked.
