Dom's PoV
I was sent here by my Commanding Officer, who I hate a lot, to learn another language and to learn the local culture of Japan, and I'll return to England when he sees fit, so basically I'm here for another two years, at least I have access to the local Military Barracks, which are only a mile from my pre paid accommodations, a flat next to the high street, about a mile from the school as well, but it's not a school, it's more like a university/collage thing, were most people go to continue their learning for greater grades.

I joined the British army at a young age to get a job, and at the age of 16, I knew jobs were harder to come by after each passing year, but before I could join my regiment, I had to do a year at a military collage as my grades were high enough, then after my year of hell, I went to my regiment, after one year, I was sent here as a training deal, with the Japanese army, we have done this with several armies around the world, Germany, France, China, Japan, America, Spain, Turkey and Italy.
I have been here for about 6 months now, and I'm the only English student brought here, as the others who were picked got some of the better places.

Don't get me wrong, there is nothing bad about Japan, but i miss my family and friends, starting a new life, even at 18, is a pain. I was taken the the English class and only half of them could speak any English, only the teachers could really talk to me, they know what I am, but the students don't.
Anyway, I was walking out of my flat and headed to the school, a couple of girls that were in a few of my lessons saw me, and waved, I waved back, but kept going, I didn't really make a lot of friends here, maybe a few from the classes have become friendly, only thing close to what I had back in England is mutual respect and Politeness, and that's it.

SKIP TO LESSONS
I was in the main gym hall, I normal dodge this and work in the gym on weights and the machines in that but I was forced into this lesson, "hey, English man, what's the matter with you ?" One of the boys, called Tadashi, said, "nothing's wrong, I just miss my own country, the fun and my family" I say, still had my uniform on, "don't you like us ?, I'm hurt" he said, jokingly, "ha, so what are we to do today ?" I asked.
"Huh ?!, oh, you don't do our lessons, today is dodge ball and maybe some wrestling" he replied, he then got changed, "see ya in there" he said, and I was alone in the room.

After a couple of minutes, I was ready, I entered the hall, I was fairly muscular due to my training and my time at the Gym, but I guess no one thought I did anything as they were shocked, "hahaha, what the matter ?" I say to Tadashi, "you go to the gym ?" He said, even a few of the girls blushed, "what am I always in this damn situations" I say in English, "you say that again, my English isn't so good as yours" he said, "Never mind" I said, then a gym teacher said, we could do any sport we wanted or do some fitness, I went to the side and grabbed a weighted backpack, and placed it on my back then headed out to the running track, where most of the student went.

"Look at that idiot, he'll be dead in minutes" a boy laughed, "I've been here six months and you lot don't even know anything about me" I said, someone shouted go and we set off, I was at the back first but made my way to the front, gaining a lot of looks from everyone as I past them and seemed to get faster, after I had done 6 laps, most had done their 4th lap, I wasn't even out of breathe, "How are you still going ?" Asked Tadashi, "what ?, don't you think we English people keep fit ?, as I said, you lot don't even know half of my story" I said, then continued, after my 50th lap, I stopped, and saw most have given in, "hey, Dom, bet you a ticket to a concert that you can't do pull ups for 2 minutes" said Tadashi's mate, "watch me" I say, then jump on to the bar and lifted myself at a pace of 30 reps a minute, after 5 minutes I dropped and said "you owe me a ticket, but which Concert is it ?" I said, "it the vocaliod one, Miku and Rin are supposedly going to sigh pictures before they sing, but a bets a bet" he said, and handed me the ticket, "Vocaloids ?, I don't even listen to that, what the hell, I may like it" I say, then head to the changing rooms and got changed.

I really have spent so much time studying and waiting to go home, that I haven't really spent a lot of time with the "Crowd", but I heard about the Vocaloids, even enough to know that Hatsune Miku, was mostly the favourited one.

"Maybe this wouldn't be so bad after all, but Tadashi, what's are they like ?" I asked, then everybody looked at me, "what ?, we don't really have Vocaloids in England, and my job takes up enough time for me to notice" I say, then he told me about all of the Vocaloids, there were Hatsune Miku, Kagamine Rin and Kagamine Len, Kaito and Megurine Luka, they were the only ones going to be at this concert.

"There are others but.." I cut Tadashi off as we walked outside the changing room, in front of the class, "I don't think I'll need to know about all of them, besides, I'm expecting to be called back to England and resume my duties soon" I replied, "duties ?" He said, I mentally face palmed myself, I didn't want anyone finding out but I made that mistake, in front  the whole class too.

"Yes, duties, you see... I'm not from a regular school, I'm actually British Armed Forces, sent here to do additional learning until I'm needed" I say, he laughed, "good one, you almost... Had me..." He said, realising I said the truth, then a teacher came up to me, "well... I see they found out, eventually" he said, "what, you knew ?" Said one of the girls, "he did, in fact, all of the teachers knew, that's why I do things alittle different from how you lot do things, why do you think I'm so fit, I wasn't born like it" I say, "a soldier, have you ever killed anyone ?" Someone says, "no, he's only 18, he can't have" another replied, "actually... I'm nearly 19, I've been in the forces for nearly 3 years, I was deployed on ops for about 4 months, then I came here for extra learning, my name was picked by random, heh... I would rather be back with my unit, but I'm here, God knows when I can go back" I say, then turned, "I believe I am done here, I must get ready for this concert, if I even go" I say, then I went off. Heading to the main reception to book out and head home.
