Part 2

After doing some digging, Naota had found out that Draken was working in a nearby motorcycle shop. Seemed in this timeline Draken has left Toman, or perhaps was pushed out by Kisaki, and decided to settle down and get a real job after high school. Now standing outside the shop, Takemichi gulped before pushing his way in. It was a quiet day for the shop and Draken was sat in front of a bike, working on what Takemichi thought might of been the engine. Hearing the bell ring from above the door, Draken turned, smiling upon seeing Takemichi. "Well, looks like I'm being haunted," he laughed, pushing himself off the ground and ridding his hands of oil using the rag hanging from his jeans. "Didn't think I would see you this side of town."

"Figured I'd come by," Takemichi shrugged. "Wanted to see how you were doing man."

Draken used his thumb, pointing to the staff room behind him. "I'll brew us up a drink," He chuckled. "I could use a break, as well as a proper seat." It was feeling like nothing had changed. Draken was the same old Draken and judging from the photo on his desk, about to become a dad. Takemichi smiled as his host gave him the coffee and took a seat on the opposite sofa. "I heard about Hinata," Draken sighed. "I'm sorry for you loss."

Takemichi bowed his head. "Thank you Draken," he sighed. "I can see you're about to become a dad."

"Yeah Emma is ready to pop anytime now," Draken smirked proudly. "A little girl of our own."

"I wonder," Takemichi gulped, worried about the next sentence to come from his mouth. "I bet Mikey would have made an awesome Uncle."

That sentence looked like it physically hurt Draken. "Having to leave Mikey behind," His voice had become horse, sounding like he was trying to hold back the tears. "But after her death, it was like he forgot how to love."

"Her?"

Draken sat slumped against the back of the sofa, playing with the rim of his coffee cup. "You didn't know her," He gave a light chuckle as he started to explain the story. The story of Mikey's first love. A young girl from their school, in fact in their year. The story of how Mikey would coheres sweet treats in her mouth and walk home with her but how they never actually became a couple. There wasn't ever a chance for that to happen. "One night, the one time Mikey didn't walk with her, she was attacked by a rival gang and violated." Takemichi's cup slipped out his fingers at the word violated, hot coffee spilling onto his shoes. "Her bother confronted Mikey. Mikey beat up an eleven year old kid for daring to confront him and that caused everything to spiral." Draken grabbed hold onto his forehead, taking raspy breathes between sentences. "I get it, if it was Emma I would have felt the same but the way she screamed at him..."

"Draken what happened to her?" Takemichi dared to ask.

"She was found dead two days later," Draken screamed. "Mikey's heart, this poor kid lost his first love and lashed out that I took Emma. I took Emma and ran from my best friend!"

Not knowing how to properly handle the situation, Takemichi tried his best to console Draken, assuring him that he did the right thing for he and Emma. After a while Draken has managed to calm down enough to escort Takemichi out of the shop. Takemichi sighed, giving a wimp wave goodbye as he started to walk away. Mikey truly was heartbroken, so much that it put Emma's life in danger. His train of thought was interrupted by the sudden explosion of heat coming from behind him. The explosion of air pushed Takemichi to the ground, causing him to hit his head against the congregate. He pushed himself up, putting a hand to his ear, the explosion ringing in his ears. He dared look behind him, his eyes widening and his breath hitching as he saw Draken's shop up in flames.

Heavy footsteps stopped by Takemichi's head. "Well well," Takemichi looked up, his heart racing seeing Kisaki standing above him with a barrel of a gun looking down at him. "Bye bye, hero!"

With the sound of a gun shot, Takemichi found himself waking up 11 years prior in his bed. For once he wasn't in an awkward and unpredictable situation. He sat up, looking down at his hand, looking at the scar on his hand from when he saved Draken, feeling helpless this time around. Why was it in his timeline there were more people he wasn't able to save? What's worse, without changing anything he has no way to return to present if he's dead. "That bastard Kisaki!" He growled, clenching his fist. "So to protect Hina, I have to protect Mikey's crush and stop her from killing herself?"

But who could possibly be Mikey's crush? It didn't exactly seem like Mikey had much interest in girls though the way Draken spoke, Mikey was really into the girl from their school. He hummed, already feeling a road block in his master plan. What could he do to find out who this girl possibly is? "A girl who goes to their school huh?" Takemichi hummed louder, hoping it may trigger a memory of sorts. 'I noticed the school tie poking out her apron.' It was like Draken's voice was an angel sending him the best possible information.

"The dorayaki girl!"
