First Date- Will (part 1)

Plot: you and will are avoiding each other because his friends found out and told him you have a crush on him, and you haven't really talked since then. Sitting in class, you get the biggest surprise of all
~~~~
I was sitting in class, bored and doodling on my notebook, when my crush and his gang (Will and the others) walked in. I looked up, they seemed more excited than usual, so I listened in while being invisible as usual.
"Dude, you're going on your first date! And it's on Christmas!" I heard Mike shout. Wait, what?
"Shh, y/n might hear" Will said. I was extremely alert now, and felt a little like crying if it was Will, because he had found out about my crush on him last semester and avoided me since then. However, our moms were best friends so we had to see each other.
Lucas was nodding, "yeah, how are you gonna tell her you're going out with..... Stacy?" "Yeah, doesn't she hate her?" Dustin  jumped in. Will shrugged silently and glanced at me. My friends came in and sat down near me in our usual seats. "HEY Y/N" I faked a smile as usual.
"hey, what's all the excitement about? You're all so happy to see me?" I snickered and they just grinned, "We heard Will's going out with...... Stacy." I nodded and  rolled my eyes "god, could boys get any dumber? She's not even that pretty! I don't know what they see in her." I said, frustrated.
I stayed silent for the rest of the class, but I was thinking hard, and thought to myself, Will and I used to be friends last year, before he found out about my crush.
I don't wanna sacrifice what's left of that awesome friendship, so.... I'm gonna help him. I don't care how embarrassed I get. I thought to myself how I could get a moment alone with him, and got to the conclusion that we're the only two people in Drama club in our homeroom class.
So the next day during homeroom, I went out and checked if we had drama practice for our Christmas play coming up, and it turned out to be a no. Perfect. Now I'll tell him that we're being called for drama. I'm usually the one who checks for both of us so he won't suspect a thing.
He came out and for once I started to head there with him instead of jogging ahead, and I stopped him. "Hey Will, we don't really have drama. I just wanted to talk to you." He stopped in his tracks, "I know you know my friends told me you have a crush on me. If that's what this is about-" "it's not. Listen, I wanna help you get ready on your first date. We were friends once, why not again?". He thought for a second, finally speaking.
"Why?"
"Why what?"
"Why do you wanna help?"
"I miss being friends. And do you really have anyone who can give girl advice in your life?"
"What about my mom? And Mike, he's dated Eleven. Lucas dates Max. Max can't give me love advice?"
"We all know Max is a unique girl, she's basically a boy. I, on the other hand, am part boy, part girl, which means I know about girls but I can also handle the boy dumbness. And your mom doesn't know about Stacy as well as I do. Who knows a girl better than her enemies?"
Will stayed silent, before shrugging and nodding. He asked "okay, so what's our plan?" And I grinned, knowing he was in. "I'll be staying at your house for a week or two, since I heard the date is on Christmas, which is two weeks away, so I need to get you trained by then."
Will raised an eyebrow and smugly smirked at the word 'trained'. "Why train? You're a girl, you already like me without whatever training you're talking about." He said, nudging me, and I was getting annoyed, so I snapped at him, "Well, that was clearly the dumbest decision of my life, I'm just glad I'm over it."
He stayed silent. "So anyways, I come to your house all the time so it won't be a big deal, and I'll teach you how to act with a girl. You can't just go without a plan and the clothes picked out at least a couple days in advance!"
He sighed and nodded reluctantly. "I'll tell mom you're coming over." I nod, and we just stay there for a minute, silent, "do you wanna skip this period or should we go back and say practice got cancelled?" I ask. He bites his lip, then speaks, "we have maths now anyway right? Homeroom's over. Let's just skip." I grin, "great, let's go then".
We spent the period at McDonald's (no hate about McDonalds in the comments or I'm blocking you) and when we came back, I gave him a thirty second headstart and then went behind him.
Later that day, once school was over, I went to the library, since my mom worked there, and then I asked her if I could go to Will's house. Knowing that we had been having a little "fight" (although she had no idea what it was about) she was delighted that I made up with him and said yes, just like I knew she would.
That evening, I biked over to Will's house where he was waiting for me, leaning against his door.
